Elevator out of order for days, but hotel management fails to disclose. Continental breakfast means cereal and bread with no fruits or protein of any kind. Room itself is very poorly maintained.

Shower needs work and there is a sever lack of electrical plugs for modern electronics. Pool was closed completely. Place was beneath the expectations of a Wyndam level hotel

No pool, no elevator, not maintained very well. I am a 70 yr old non smoking, disabled vet and only available room was a smoking on the 3rd floor with only stairway access.

Service and people were nice. The room was ok, can be cleaner. Elevator was down and we had to carry our stuff to 3rd floor. Smell very bad around the staircase area.

Shower didn’t have much pressure, pool was not open.

Nice clean room. The place is a bit outdated and the pool was not functional. But overall it was a great value. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Front desk was polite and professional as expected. I would recommend it if you are someone who looks for value above luxury.

The pool is closed. But they have beautiful tree, The pool side garden? Is fresh air from many tree. I had extended two times more. Specially the king bed room is large space.

The staff was very good. However, the website advertised a pool, and the pool was closed- looked like it was permanently closed. We chose that hotel in large part because of the pool so we would have a chance to swim. Also, the bathrooms were very small, toilets especially small and close to the floor

Very run down. Elevator had been broken for two weeks.

Seen roaches 1st night we were there, the tub and some of the areas on the room need to be redone because there was a lot of cracks everywhere.

There were bugs, cockroaches, hair, stains and food in my room. The continental breakfast was sad. Dirty and smelly building. Do not recommend.

Dirty, shabby, and very sketchy. We had to change hotels due to bedbugs.

Dirty, specially the bathroom is disgusting .Noisy, and the room was smelling smoke awfully. We had planned to stay 3 nights but checked out after 1 night and payed a large amount of penalty. I received only $62 of my money back but we are still happy for leaving this place. I don’t recommend it to families.

My first night I had roaches in the sink and on the desk and continued to see them throughout my stay. The tub stopped up during my shower, the toilet didn't flush all the way, I had to keep adjusting the water levels. Sketchy characters hanging around outside, drinking and smoking on the steps. Not the nicest place to stay for the price, pay the extra money and go somewhere else.

Bed was great! Room was clean but had an oder from being closed up. Room could use updating. But good value for my needs.

There was not too many options, only a waffle maker, oatmeal, cereal, and bread. The general area seemed safe enough. The best part is that it was only about 20 - 30 minute drive from the National Mall area and 5 min drive from National Harbor.

This Days Inn is definitely a motel rather than a hotel, but a very affordable option for the area without any of the major drawbacks of a non-chain motel. Pros: -Affordability -The water quality was fantastic, my difficult curly hair has never been happier -Location was great, only a few minutes' drive to the nearest Metro station, and only a few minutes to downtown Alexandria as well as National Harbor -The beds were surprisingly comfortable, with nice fluffy pillows. -Strong air conditioning! Cons: -The smell. The room had that classic motel smell, musty mixed with old, old cigarettes. It was not what I would expect from a Days Inn/Wyndham property, and was quite unpleasant. I had to wash literally everything I brought to the hotel when I got back home, as the smell permeated every piece of clothing and soft surface -The tub in the room was clearly just plopped down on top of a preexisting tub, and weirdly bubbled up in parts, which I could feel stepping around the tub as I showered. The continental breakfast was serviceable, I appreciated the waffle station although fresh fruit instead of fruit cups would have been great. The rooms were reasonably clean if dated, as was the bedding (minus the old burn marks in some of the sheets).

First room tub was full and would not drain. They immediately gave me another room right next door so was an easy transition. The staff was great! Rooms were not perfect and shower went from hot to cold every couple seconds. overall slept well and was easy access and great location.

The room was fine, it was clean, and very nice to have a fridge & microwave. Comfortable bed, good shower. Somewhat noisy at times with people outside my door & window, one morning shouting below to the parking lot. And vehicle(s) with no muffler or diesel engine that were extremely loud, early all three mornings (5 or 6 a.m.!) Breakfast was decent, a good amount of options but no fresh fruit. A very convenient 10-12 minute walk to the Huntington Metro stop on walkways through adjacent apartment complexes. As of this writing, it's been five full days since I departed and I still haven't received back my $75 security deposit - called today and they said it was authorized when I checked out, I should wait a few more days and call back if needed...

The wifi was broken, signal was very weak. The bathtub drains super slow. No travel size shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathroom. The blanket looks unclean.

We had to fill the toilet tank up from the sink because it would not fill up itself… the whole place also smelled of cigarette smoke, and the room itself was musty. A few of the lamps did not even work. Wouldn’t recommend

The room was comfortable and had the facilities one would expect. The breakfast was limited but adequate. The staff were helpful. It is more a motel than hotel but is well situated and I would be happy to stay there again. The only thing lacking was no facilities for making coffee in the room

Shower was weak and temperature irregular. Hot water turned cold!

Good price, room is clean , Free break fast.15 mins walk to subway train .Internet is terrible so slow, Not so bad after all

Front desk staff was very helpful during check-in: he was very accommodating in finding room options with good air quality that would be better for my son who has a reactive airway.

The room was clean, AC good, and comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again. It wasn’t the Ritz but perfectly adequate.

This place was not great, it had a nasty smell that would trickle from the washroom. Although, the reason for the one star review in this case is due to two random women walking into our room at 11:40pm at night. Me and my friend were asleep when two ladies opened our door with a keycard that was given to them from the front desk. Immediately they freaked out and left the room. The front desk then called and asked if anyone was in the room, and then hung up. This was just plain weird and I’m not thrilled about it. Front desk didn’t even apologize or try to make any amends, just a simple ok and a hang up.

The staff who was there when we came was rude, I think he’s a Supervisor named Benjamin. He did not smiled even once, I hope you train your staff well. Also there’s a very bad smell from the elevator. We stayed in 3rd floor but we opted to just use the staircase because the smell from elevator made us nauseous.

My check in experience was horrible. I called to confirm my reservation and early check in 3 separate times, yet after I arrived I found out my reservation was cancelled. I very politely tried explaining the situation to a man at the front desk and was yelled at, told I was lying, threatened with the police, and belittled for “not understanding” and “not listening”. Later, the manager came and found my reservation as well as a record of my call. He refused to speak to me though, so I was forced to work with the same individual. After asking where this proof of reservation came from after I was told I was lying and it didn’t exist, I was yelled at once again, threatened and the process was repeated. Eventually my reservation was confirmed. The rest of the week, the rest of the staff made me feel extremely uncomfortable, staring and making uncomfortable conversation. Another day, when I came back from work, I found my hotel room was left wide open by housekeeping after being cleaned. Luckily nothing was taken. This hotel made the experience of being a solo female traveller significantly more uncomfortable, unprofessional, and hostile. Do NOT book a stay here - one of the worst experiences i’ve ever had.

The property is conveniently located, relative to accessing major highways, and the same is true for shopping and dining. Even to access the Mt. Vernon trail was also possible with relative ease.

Property is decent. Location is semi easy to get too, just have to watch for all the tractor trailers parked out front. Room had multiple stains on walls and carpets, but was decently cleaned otherwise. Breakfast area was very small, and crowded, but the staff member attending to it was pleasant and helpful.

The stay was great. The beds were comfortable the pillows were soft.we were so tired we needed a comfortable bed.it was quiet there.we would stay again if the occasion arises. The breakfast was great and everyone was so nice .lovely

I stay here every time I come to Washington DC to do research. It is very close to the Huntington Station of the Metro. The room is nice for the price but no frills. I've stayed in the same room twice. TV had a lot of snow, which they tried to repair and made it better, but not great. Channel selection is minimal. There is a breakfast, but minimal. Hot is waffles only.

Worth of money and their complementary breakfast facilities is awesome indeed

I don’t like the breakfast because they don’t have fruit or yogurt I can’t find any tea or water was terrible just bread, pancakes, and muffins with coffee.

Breakfast was just muffins and coffee. The next day even the muffins were not available. Please do not advertise "breakfast included "

Older property, shows its age. Decent place to stay for a night. Very clean room. Breakfast was basic serve-yourself buffet breakfast with waffle maker, but nowadays it's nice to get free breakfast. Free parking is a real bonus.

Basic room with expected amenities. Generally quiet (depending on neighboring guests); slept good. Nice breakfast. Staff was professional; courteous. Good price, good stay. Recommend.
