Try better options for breakfast

This place is not a hotel. It is a liability with room numbers. From the second I arrived, I felt unsafe. People were loitering on the balcony levels yelling, yet the front desk had the nerve to assure me there was “no crime” and the property was safe. Within minutes of getting to my room, my smoke detector started beeping nonstop and 3 police cars rolled in with 6 officers jumping out. So muc for that lie. I spent two hours trying to get help, to be told there was no maintenance available. Their grand solution was maybe moving me to another room, as if that would magically fix the filth, the neglect, and the complete lack of concern. No refund, no compensation, no accountability. The room was disgusting. There was a large gap around the door that I had to stuff with a towel to block the draft. The bathroom had a dirty washcloth still hanging in the shower, hair on the floor, and a sticky mess underfoot. The water would not get hot. The smoke detector beeped all night. I paid for a clean, safe, functioning room and got none of that. Hotels.com was equally useless. When I begged for help finding a safer place to stay, they told me any refund for the unused portion of my stay was up to the hotel. Predictably, the hotel refused, despite the false photos and the fact that I did not receive the basic service I paid for. I travel often, including internationally, and this was one of the worst, most dishonest lodging experiences I have ever had. This place is a scam with walls.

Air condition is too noisy. Breakfast has only cereals and bread, no waffles or fruits or anything like usual hotel. It is more a motel not hotel. Too much smoke though we opted for nonsmoking.

The staff was respectful
