This can't be a 5 stars hotel. The mattresses are so worn out, both mattresses in my room sag in the middle. I got bug bites. I've requested to have the sheets changed but it didn't seem happened. There's a eyesore dirty stain on the floor in the middle of bathroom. Anyone who walks in would have seen it right away. On my 1st day of check-in, all the 300-ml bottles for shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, etc. were less than 1/4 filled. Does it cost too much to fill up all the bottles? I felt like I was re-using all these stuff from the previous guests. On the 3rd day which was also my last day of staying, all the bottles were empty; they didn't fill up any of the bottles, and the cleaning people did clean the room every day, what did they do? The only good thing about this hotel is the front desk staff and doorman are nice and helpful.

The staff in the hotel are good and helpful. However, the rooms are old, with furniture and fittings not well maintained. The carpet also had an odour but the staff offered to provide an air purifier so it was manageable. The bathroom had a lack of vanity space and the blinds really has seen better days. The excellent lighting and the big mirror behind the bathroom door saved the day as the rest of the room especially at the entrance area is really dark.

Absolutely loved the location! The grand first-floor hall and the modern, clean room made for a pleasant stay. The staff was professional and friendly, ensuring a positive experience. Although my reservation for a room with two beds was initially received as a request rather than a confirmed reservation, the front desk staff quickly accommodated us and provided a room with two beds for me and my 15-year-old son. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Beijing in the future.

We booked 2 twin rooms and had upgraded a twin room to a suite with a fee. The deposit required was high. It was the price of the 2 twin rooms that we paid for a week. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated beside a busy road. In the morning, the roads were jammed and noisy with the honking of cars. The soundproofing of the rooms was bad. Could hear the doors slammed close. In the early mornings starting around 5-6am could hear banging sound, trolley wheels rolling. Night time could hear people quarrelled and road works. Carpets need to be vacuumed more frequently, while the rest of the areas seemed clean. The hotel is centrally located but it is located next to a busy road so travelling needed more time with some detours and more waiting time.

The hotel was super convenient, only steps from the mrt exit and not far from wangfujing and the forbidden palace. Removed a star because it is quite old and dark. The hotel should consider revamping it's style or risk being left behind.

We stayed for my friend’s birthday. The hotel was very accommodating and the room was incredibly clean and lovely. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn’t available so our room was too hot to sleep comfortably. The hotel provided a fan, but it was still hotter than we’d prefer. The Butterfly Brunch was delicious and the lounge service was great. We will definitely be back for both.

Great Hotel in a very good location close to main sites, transportation, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent and also the gym, pool and sauna. Best of all was however the fantastic service we got from the Concierges. They helped us both before and during the stay to book tickets for different sights and restaurants and gave a lot of helpful information. A huge thank you to Yina, Karen, Paul and the rest of the team. Best service we have ever been given.

The hotel itself was beautiful, and our room was spacious and very comfortable. However, we did encounter a slight issue at the Garden Lei restaurant. They did not allow us to charge the meal back to our room, which was a bit inconvenient. When we tried to pay, the EFTPOS machine requested a six-digit PIN, but our card only has a four-digit one. This led to an awkward situation with three staff members gathered at our table using Google Translate to explain the issue. I kept asking if they could insert the card instead of tapping it, but this was initially not understood. Eventually, I took the machine, inserted the card myself, entered the four-digit PIN, and the payment went through without any problem. It was a bit embarrassing, but I think the issue could be resolved more easily in the future with clearer communication or a quick manual insertion of the card.

There is also a Subway station right around the corner. All staffs were friendly and helpful: front desk, Bell service, Concierge, housekeeping, fitness center, etc. I highly recommend this place. If you haven’t been to Beijing before, be aware of busy traffic around this area. Electric Bikes do not follow traffic rules.
