I am concerned about the safety for the guests on 1st floor in that the exterior door for the rooms on 1st floor is not always closed and locked. On one instance, a rock was placed inside to keep the door open; on another occasion, the door had not fully closed. This is very concerning!

I've been wanting to stay here for quite some time. When I booked it this weekend I was excited. Upon arrival we realized that the hotel was under construction. We couldn't go in the front entrance, we had to enter from the side. After checking in we found that the elevator was out of service. We found out it has been out service due to construction not that it broke down. I think that should have been conveyed upon booking the room. We carried our bags up 2 flights. The room next door played the TV so loud we had to raise our voice to talk to one another. Then at 515am some shampooed the carpet in the room above us and woke us up. When we took showers the water made this very odd rushing sound. It was just very disappointing 😞

The property was under construction and entry to the lobby was through the side door where the key reader was broken. You had to call the front desk on your phone to be let in. They were still charging regular price for the room. I would not have booked here, had I known this. Also my toilet handle was broken and wouldnt flush, and my sink ran warm in any position. Very poor accommodations.

On our arrival (late in the evening), we were disappointed to learn the hotel was under construction and, to make matters worse, the elevator was out of service. Of course, the only rooms available were on the third floor. Unfortunately, it was too late to begin looking for other hotel options. Another disappointment, we discovered the only in-room coffee was decaf. Going down and up 3 flights of stairs to make an exchange wasn't worth the effort.

Nice, clean room. They were doing construction in the lobby entryway so it was a bit inconvenient but getting in and out was easy through the side doors. We were only passing through so we didn't visit much of the area. The breakfast was nice and well stocked. The staff was very friendly and helpful

The room we booked was described (with photo) as having a separate seating area with a couch. We selected this room because we were traveling with two small children. When we arrived late at night to a full hotel, we were disappointed to find a tiny room that barely fit the 2 queen beds, and no couch, no sitting area, nothing but a rolling office chair. The carpet appeared to have had a large amount of soda or juice spilled on it, making it thick with stickiness. When I asked the front desk if they could maybe try to hit it with a steamer while we'd be out the whole next day, she said that would definitely happen. It did not. We ended up having to spread towels on the floor just to walk on. The trash can in front of the main entrance was so full of trash that there was also garbage spread all around it on the ground. The staff did not seem in any way concerned with any guests, and mostly did not look up from their phones whenever I approached the desk. I even tried to contact Expedia, but when they tried to contact the hotel they couldn't even reach anyone. Absolutely not worth the price. Family that stayed across the street at the Holiday Inn expressed much higher levels of satisfaction, and paid less.

The walls are thin. Either the person above me took 10 showers from 2am to 6am or I heard the water from all the surrounding units. Either way, it was difficult to sleep. Everything was clean. Continental breakfast was hot and had a variety of options. Staff was friendly. Hotel is located by several restaurants and right off 95; easy to get to.

The front desk clerk didn’t offer any advice or information about hotel or the area. Her service was rather perfunctory. A different clerk at checkout was cheerful and nice. Room was very clean and all amenities worked fine. Breakfast was certainly adequate for our needs and seemed so for the other guests.

I had a reservation for May 6th paid in full. I called the hotel to add another night to my stay. They said it would not be a problem over the phone. I arrived at the hotel and was told that I needed to call Expedia to pay for the additional night. I called Expedia and my call was disconnected 4 times. Ultimately the hotel told me that I had to pay them for the night I had already paid for and the additional night and then dispute the charge with Expedia. I was almost 3 hours from home without a hotel to sleep in. I would think that the hotel could just have had me pay for the additional night at the site. Expedia didn’t help me either.

I would call in advance to double check if the room you are booking is actually available. After driving long hours only to reach the hotel and find the room I booked was not available. I booked a double queen room and was placed in a 1 queen room with a couch. Room was clean, but missing soap and extra sheets/pillows. Manager was rude/blunt and unable to accommodate or provide additional compensation for the mistake. Hotel itself is fine, just the details around it made our stay complicated.

My only complaint is that the woman serving breakfast started putting things away at 9 when the front desk said breakfast went till 9:30 and the website said it should go to 10 on Saturdays. And somehow we got a wake up call at 5am we didn't request.

Quick, seamless check-in. Respectable free breakfast with lots of oatmeal toppings. You'd think in this part of North Carolina there would be some bacon available, but they did have turkey sausage and at least three redentions of eggs and food coffee and orange juice. In room 207, the toilet mechanism was malfunctioning, but Rachel at the front desk quickly got us transfered to 306. The entire place was spotlessly clean.
