Howard Johnson by Wyndham Rock Hill

It’s a motel, not a hotel, expect motel conditions. The biggest problem we had was that the room refrigerators were set on a timer, that i assume was activated prior to our arrival. The timer ticked, every second, LOUDLY. Additionally, the TV screen would not turn off. You could turn off whatever was playing, but the screen remained backlit. There are no physical buttons on the TV’s, so you couldn’t manually turn it off without unplugging it. We were staying there for a triathlon & originally intended to stay 2 nights. We checked out a day early, after the triathalon & decided to make the long drive home instead of trying to sleep in a loud & bright environment for another night.

The bed was comfortable. Bathrooms not the cleanest. They need to update. The breakfast was meagre. People that made waffles found them off…like sour milk.

No time to visit gym. Visit was very brief-- no time for breakfast.... Check-in Mgr was super friendly y completely professional. Housekeepers were kind, courteous y x excellent Customer service skills 👍
