This motel was convenient for us after we got through the traffic on I-77 through Charlotte. Ho Jo is a throwback from my childhood, so I felt comfortable choosing them on line. Still using the same orange and brown, but it was clean, and we slept well. The front desk staff were very friendly, and we definitely appreciated the dog fee being a reasonable $15. Thanks, Ho Jo!

The carpets were terrible. Damp, stinky. Carpets need to be ripped out. Updating needed. Beds uncomfortable, very saggy. Room smells gross.

The room was DIRTY ! THERE WAS FOOD CRUMBS IN THE BED. there was dirt and bits of toilet paper behind the door in the bathroom The drawers on the TV cabinet were broken amd hanging. The desk cbair artificial leather was worn thread-bare. The room AC was off, the room smelled musty . If I had not reserved non refundable I would have walked out ! I havnt been in such a poor room in 30 yrs. Where all I could afford was a 30.00 roadside motel.

My stay was excellent from start to finish. The room was very clean and comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. Rooms were dirty and bathroom was dirty and had hair in the bath tub and the dresser was falling apart I have pictures how dirty the bath tub was it wasn’t what your website said very un satisfied would not recommend my daughter and her husband and 2 kids we in another room and the bed was broken could not change rooms till the next day room#127 and went to another room #119 the next day with a king size so one of the kids had to stay with us there for a baseball tournament I can send you the pictures maybe that would help you change for people to stay there in the future we had three rooms and was very unsatisfied the other 2 rooms were #123 and #206

Nice clean room but the mattress was an old metal spring thing that has to have been 43 years old. There's was a big flat spot where you lay. Way overdue for a new mattress.

Getting a key for the fitness room we were threatened to return it immediately or be charged. When requesting a 1 hour late checkout the manager was very absolute and unfriendly insisting we are out by 11. I guess rules are rules but he certainly did not endear me to ever return again

Basic well kept room with all the necessities for a one night stay. Staff was super nice! Simple breakfast offered there and numerous choices for food in the area. Met our needs as we traveled back from Florida to Pennsylvania.

My stay at the hotel was excellent. The location was very convenient, close to grocery stores and other amenities I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the customer service was outstanding. I truly appreciated how welcoming and helpful the staff were throughout my stay.

The front desk lady was extremely gracious, hospitable and helpful. Breakfast was good, coffee was excellent. Dining area was extremely clean. Though the hotel is older, our room was very clean. Due to the road construction to the hotel, we were unable to access it on google maps and needed to be rerouted. Contacting Wyndham was a pain as they connect you with AI who is not helpful in giving directions but after repeated tries, we were able to decipher the phone number for the front desk at which time we called and were directed to the hotel. All in all, for the price, it was quite comfortable, a place that we would definitely stay in the future

This is an older motel in the process of getting a facelift. The staff is exceptional, both Tabitha and Carrie at the desk were the height of Souther Hospitality and could not be more helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean overall though the bathroom needed a good scrub down on the walls. I did not care for the shower in my room, as the design of the insert (it’s clearly an insert over an old tub) creates a step up onto a slipper surface. Thank God for the rubber bath mat provided. The other downsides were the older beds that are in need of a replacement (older spring mattresses with little padding and box platforms) and the equipment rental facility next door being early risers … and the pervasive smell of burning cannabis. Overall, a good experience though. Clean, pretty comfortable, good highway access, wonderful staff. It’s ain’t the Ritz, but you’re also not paying for the Ritz, and it offers a lot for the price point.

The location to Hwy 77 was great, there was fast food & gas stations close by. Room was good, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The room and decor were very dated. But I would stay there again on my way back up to PA.

This was a shady area. The clerk was behind glass. I got to my room on the second floor to find that the key card was not activated so I couldn’t enter the room. Two scary men stared at me as I tried the door over and over before giving up. I managed to get safely to my car and locked it when another man came up tapping at the window. This was not a motel or area in where a small framed woman can afford to be locked out.

You get what you pay for. The area feels unsafe and has a homeless vibe. The hotel is outdated and classic 1980s decor and furniture. It’s good enough if you need a bed for the night but don’t expect a decent breakfast. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was not bad. The area around the property was a little sketchy. Convenient to I-77 and Cherry St. Lots of shopping options. 10-15 minute drive to the Rock Hill Sports Center. In town for 1 night at a volleyball tournament with my daughter. Last munute booking otherwise we'd have booked differently. Construction on the road in front of the hotel has been ongoing for a while and doesn't seem to have made any progress. Breakfast was ok and coffee was good. Price point was appropriate for the condition and location IMO. Probably wouldn't stay there with my family again.
