We arrived at this supposedly prestigious hotel and checked into our room only to find it hadn't been cleaned. Someone's food/clothes were everywhere. They offered to buy ONE of our drinks at the bar (which was soo dirty) and waited 1 1/2 hours for it to be cleaned. Just really disappointed.

We lived on a third floor. The veux was wonderful. However, the stairs are very steep and you would think twice of going back to the room. Elevator would greatly improve the accessibility

We are an older couple and had a room on the top floor- did not know that there is NO elevator and they were also doing noisy roof repair directly outside our room all day long. No indoor pool, the bathroom was the size of a closet and the decor is ancient. Overpriced and not worth it.

Property is located in a beautiful setting on the lake. The garden and the view from the restaurant are incredible. We ate at the restaurant and some of the items were good but some were mediocre. Overall would love to stay there again, beautiful and relaxing place.

Beautiful property! The view of the lake and the landscaping is fantastic. The proximity to the town of Geneva is a major plus. The only criticism is that there is no lobby and area to gather. The check-in is located in a very small office. But other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay.

The “brand new” mattresses, as we were told by the front desk, are hard as a rock. The pristine pictures you see online don’t look anything like this place. There is no view of the lake from the rooms. The place is old, dated and the rooms (ours was a suite) have commercial kitchen type of quarry tile with dirty grout lines. Save your money and go elsewhere. I complained about the mattress so that’s how I know they were “brand new”. We ended up not staying the second night forfeiting $450 for the night because they said they couldn’t refund it. Hotels.com claims they tried to get us a refund but they failed miserably as well. There were very few guests and no weddings going on when we were there. I guess that’s why they couldn’t refund our money when I told them I couldn’t stay another night on that hard mattress due to back issues I . Instead we let them keep the money and we drove 6 hours home. Buyer beware!

The gardens and the view of the lake were great, We were not impressed with our accommodations, for $400.00 a night the room was very dated. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and screens, the rug was badly soiled. ordered red roses for our 2nd wedding anniversary and was told their supplier ran out? so we got a mixed arrangement that was reduced $15.00 off from $65.00.. Had dinner reservations for 6:00pm on 6/24/2024, We were here for dinner 2 years ago and had a wonderful meal. The menu this time around was limited due to the fact many of the entree's were prepared beforehand with black pepper. My wife is allergic to all kinds of peppers. The restaurant opened at 5:00pm and we were told that they were out of the $60.00 Rib Eye steak, come on now! two years ago they had Bananas Foster on the menu prepared tableside. This was not the case this year, was told management changed the menu! On a trip that I was trying to impress my wife, nothing turned out right. Finally our room was on the second floor with no elevators, and i have heart issues.

This is a beautiful property! Great view of the lake with outdoor seating. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was overall good, but duck was well done. Service was great! The room was beautiful but a little noisy as someone was moving furniture above us at night,

Everything around this place is completely magical. The staff were amazing… Flights of wine tasting, and a delicious dinner at the bar after a long drive. Woke up and had coffee on the edge of the lake from 75 feet up. The bed was comfortable the hotel was quiet would do again might in fact move there.

Expedia sent me a phony menu and wine pairing document that the hotel convincingly explained was not valid. I only made dinner reservations thru Expedia because of this promotion. The dining staff were very kind and apologetic .

The menu this time around was limited due to the fact many of the entree's were prepared beforehand with black pepper. My wife is allergic to all kinds of peppers. The restaurant opened at 5:00pm and we were told that they were out of the $60.00 Rib Eye steak, come on now! two years ago they had Bananas Foster on the menu prepared tableside. This was not the case this year, was told management changed the menu! On a trip that I was trying to impress my wife, nothing turned out right. Finally our room was on the second floor with no elevators, and i have heart issues.

We had a wonderful time. Walked the grounds. The history of the building is amazing. We had dinner onsite at Lancellotti Restaurant. Noah our waiter was a wonderful young man and took great care of us. Steve the piano player played a great selection of music. Our food was fabulous and we will return.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely outstanding! Property and grounds are absolutely gorgeous and I had a lovely view of the lake. The staff was amazing with all good vibes! Food in the dining room was fantastic with beautiful ambiance. My only suggestion is better bedding especially a big poofy comforter.

Beautiful property! The view of the lake and the landscaping is fantastic. The proximity to the town of Geneva is a major plus. The only criticism is that there is no lobby and area to gather. The check-in is located in a very small office. But other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay.

Expedia sent me a phony menu and wine pairing document that the hotel convincingly explained was not valid. I only made dinner reservations thru Expedia because of this promotion. The dining staff were very kind and apologetic .

This is a beautiful property! Great view of the lake with outdoor seating. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was overall good, but duck was well done. Service was great! The room was beautiful but a little noisy as someone was moving furniture above us at night,

Everything around this place is completely magical. The staff were amazing… Flights of wine tasting, and a delicious dinner at the bar after a long drive. Woke up and had coffee on the edge of the lake from 75 feet up. The bed was comfortable the hotel was quiet would do again might in fact move there.

The gardens and the view of the lake were great, We were not impressed with our accommodations, for $400.00 a night the room was very dated. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and screens, the rug was badly soiled. ordered red roses for our 2nd wedding anniversary and was told their supplier ran out? so we got a mixed arrangement that was reduced $15.00 off from $65.00..
