I didnt like the room had a stale smell. It smelled like a nursing home. They had a gym but only 2 pieces of equipment was operable. Other than that the place was decent.

Front desk check in clerk was very good,she was friendly and helped me change my room due to noisy kids in room next to me. Myself and several others had difficulty getting our keys to work on the rear entrance. Ice machine on second floor was inoperative.

Called ahead and was told there WAS a pool. On arrival, was told the pool doesn't open until Memorial Day-- they could have told me that when I called. I also asked about a gym when I called. Was told "yes!" But the gym was "under renovation" when we arrived so, no gym. Again, they could have told me when I asked on the phone. The courtesy computer provided could not connect online, and no one was available to help. "Breakfast buffet" was meager and with little selection and paper plates with plastic utensils. The connecting door to adjacent room was not insulated -- loud neighbor whistling at 5 am woke me up-- could hear him breathing practically. Terrible shower-- low pressure, and the shower curtain was loose and falling. No fan in bathroom (not that the fan didn't work-- there's NO FAN!). Electrical outlet(s) burned and partially overheated/melted). Door didn't latch fully without a push, so if you left and forgot to make sure it latched, your room could be entered without a card/key. And the elevator was so slow it made taking the stairs seem easier. I sat in the lobby one (of five) nights, alone, talking on the phone so my son could watch TV in the room. No one else in lobby but I was told at 11:30 that "the lobby closes at 11:00." Seriously? I have to leave? The LOBBY? How the hell does a LOBBY close?! The TV was on, FFS. I think the clerk just wanted her privacy so made up THAT rule on the spot. All in all, a pretty bad experience.

All of the great reviews for this property have to be fake. Run away from staying here. Dirty. Elevator out of order. Broken workout equipment. Random people hanging out. Sitting in stairwell. Felt very sketchy. Will never stay again. Huge disservice to the La Quinta brand.

Unfortunately we booked through Hotels.com. They did not indicate a pet fee for out stay which is consistent with most La Quintas I stay at. This La Quinta charged a daily fee and a deposit. The back door, which is where the majority of the parking resides would not operate with my room card. After several card re-charges, the hotel put a barrier in the door so guest could enter through that door. The gym was closed to maintenance. The pool was closed. I went to breakfast on Saturday at about 0850. When I got there there were no eggs, proteins, or any other warm breakfast item.

Comfortable and clean rooms. The hotel needs updating. Older carpeting and fixtures. Pool area was not clean. It was too warm in the hallways and public areas. Check in was terrible. Waited until 3pm on the dot to let people line up to check in. Horrible process and not customer friendly. Side door key card reader didn’t work but it didn’t matter because one of the workers said, “just pull it real hard and it will come open”. And it did. Did not us feel very safe.

Was only there one night. Didn't get bitten but did find a bedbug in the morning crawling on the sheet before checking out. Took it to the front desk in one of the styrofoam coffee cups from the room. Was told management would contact me. This is the same as my review on Google

I had a three-night stay at this hotel. There were a few things with the property that caught my eye. 1) The continental breakfast is OK. Sparse, but there is some substance to it. Would have liked to have had larger coffee cups instead of the small ones provided. I stopped on two of the three mornings I was there and there was a little variety to the offering. 2) The hotel needs a good deep cleaning. My room showed signs of dirty and debris the vacuums either missed or just pushed around. There was a steady stream of small ants coming in from around the air conditioning unit. The floors on the common areas show signs of stains and spills. The parking lot has trash strewn about. 3) There were no bars of soap in my room upon check-in. 4) The trash can is tiny and does not hold much of anything. I ended up using a stash of plastic bags from the grocery store to bundle my room trash and take it to one of the larger bins bear the elevator on my floor. And that looked like what a lot of the other guests were doing, as well, since these bins quickly overflowed.

Quite possibly one of the worst places I’ve ever been. There’s only one elevator for the whole building and it is slower than slow. Only half the lights for the parking lot were on or working. The whole building smells like weed. And that’s not even what made my stay bad. When I was about to get in the bed, it was clear that the sheets had not been changed - there was hair all over the sheets. If they didn’t change the sheets what else in the room wasn’t cleaned?? When I went to the front desk to complain, they said oh well. They did offer to give me sheets to change them myself. Absolute terrible customer service. A motel would have been better. STAY AWAY.

This is the oldest and dirtiest hotel. Bathroom water was dripping all night, no hotel cleaning service unless you request it. Towels are rough. Feels like sand paper on your body. Bed covers are nasty and dirty. Mattress are so dirty. All amenities are old. The hotel carpet is filthy and stinks. Its really musty. This is not worth the price.

I woke up to something brushing against my arm and it was a cockroach that went under the blankets and there was another one on the wall. I have never jumped out of a bed and left a room so quickly in my life. Horrible. Disgusting. On top of that my room was conjoined with some random persons and I could hear everything even their phone notifications going off all night long.

Door locks worked. Night clerk hung out door by elevator to smoke, inside smelled like her cigarette smoke. Trash in elevator. Outside trash can stayed overflowed during all of stay. Wall sconces all damaged in hall on our floor (2nd.) strong smell of urine in many areas. Window shade had large holes/cracks in it (217.) Animal poop everywhere in parking lot islands and one sidewalk. Coffee only ready one morning out of the three we were there.

Booked a king suite and stayed 5/6/25. Overall a pretty ideal experience. I checked in after 8PM and was up and out by 9AM. The room had a few pieces of furniture that had some small dings, but the room and bathroom were clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The A/C worked flawlessly and the shower water pressure was fine. The breakfast was standard, but good. The one thing I would like to see changed is the blind in the bedroom portion of the room was either too far from the window, too narrow, or a combo of the two. There was a lot of light coming through at 7AM, This was not an issue with the window in the living room portion as the track was set closer to the window and the blinds seemed to be a lot wider. I likely would have gotten an extra hour of sleep if that hadn't been an issue, especially with how quiet it was in the room. I'll try to book room 618 again the next time I'm in town.

A good bit disappointed overall. Rooms cleaned only uppon request. Mattress and pillows were uncomfortably hard. Pitiful water pressure in the shower. Temps dropped into low 20's, had to turn heat ip to 79 to feel any heat. Complimentary breakfast was spotty. The room was very quiet at night. I'll look for other accommodations on next trip tp Greenville.

No TV in the room. We mentioned something to the girl at the counter and we were switched to a room right by the elevator. The elevator noise was very loud, room was in ok condition. The card reader didn’t work several resulting in us asking the front desk for a new key. However, sometimes the card wouldn’t work then o would be back asking again. It was an ok stay. Loved the location.

Terrible and surreal experience at this hotel. Rude and unprofessional staff and management. Do not stay here. I booked here to break up my road trip and because I like the suite room layout. I checked in with my small dog. The room was very worn out, the sofa and carpet had stains, the tv in the living room had no sound, the hotel just needs work. About 8:30 PM, a very strong animal feces smell permeated the room. I called the front desk and the guy was pretty rude but said he had no other rooms and I could check out and GET A REFUND. About 5 minutes later I get a call to the room telling me I needed to vacate the room within 30 minutes or the police would be involved. WHAT? I thought they had the wrong room. I went to the front desk immediately to ask what was going on and the front desk clerk acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. Am I in the Twilight Zone? I decided to take him up on his offer and packed up my stuff and loaded the car and went to the front desk to turn in my key cards. The front desk clerk again told me " You will get a REFUND in 3-5 business days except for the pet fee. I asked for the manager's information and was provided an e-mail address. I e-mailed the next day to express my concerns and ask for the pet fee back. The response a few days later was nuts, making nonsense allegations and stating I would get NO REFUND. I have been charged double the rate quoted when I booked

I didn’t stay. I called the front desk at 6:10am to ask if they would have a room at 8am for me because I work nights and needed to sleep to go back to work that night. They assured me they did and I asked again and even said “That’s in 2 hours from now” She AGAIN assured me that she had a room. I get to the hotel and they tell me they won’t have a room til 11am or after. A guy checked out right in front of me so I asked about getting his room cleaned for me. They told me their housekeeping staff doesn’t come in until 10am. So I instructed the front desk clerk to get the manager on the line. She texted her and told me she wouldn’t be in til after 9am. I instructed her to cancel my reservation immediately. She did not because the night auditor called me and asked if I were coming to check in before midnight. I told her absolutely not and I will never stay at your hotel again nor any Wyndham hotel since all I got was “it’s not our fault”

Perfect choice of a hotel for the weekend. Better than average rates compared to other similar properties in this area. Location was the best part for us; only minutes to downtown Greenville via car…would definitely stay here again!

The hotel and the stay was fine. What I feel they can improve on is the breakfast. It seems like they were skimping or cheaping out on breakfast. With a hotel full of people they had out two yogurts, 4 mini muffins and watery waffle mix that did not form into waffles. Also the coffee did not have creamer. They did have eggs, sausage links and biscuits with gravy. Last but not least I didn’t see any juice.

The breakfast is absolutely the worst I have been too. There were no bagels,the waffle maker didn't even cook my waffle . The variety was just not there . The lady at the front desk when checking out does not need to be in customer service . She has no personality and of you asked her something seemed like she got upset you were bothering her. The outdoor space needs lots of TLC . You could tell this hotel needs much much needed upgrades. Been to plenty laquintas and this one marks up top for worse ones .

Everything except for the free breakfast was very good. The free breakfast didn’t offer anything that was good. I’d advise customers not to let the free breakfast have any bearing on their decision whether to stay there or not.

Breakfast not the best. Coffee terrible. Orange juice terrible ( coloured water). Eggs ice cold. And we were at breakfast at 7am. The only thing good was the bacon and biscuits.
