place out dated but staff was great

This place was gross! Upon entering the room we noticed that although we were in a non-smoking room, the room REEKED of cigarettes, wet dog, mold, and Marijuana. There were spots of something on the sheets, along with a white sticky substance on the floor and something we were unsure of whether it was blood or kool-aid on the wall. The shower curtain rod was hung up by duct tape and the toilet leaked on the floor. The next door tenants were allowed to sit in their vehicles playing bass loudly, which was unfortunate as we had been on the road for several hours and wanted to lay down to rest. The fire alarm in our room was broken, with the facing and batteries on the floor. The smell of Marijuana was equally present outdoors and seemed to seep from all rooms nearby. Tires were chained to the outside posts as well. The pool was unusable and green. Only good thing about this property was the kind lady working the front desk, who after showing her our pictures and listening to our complaints, immediately issued us a refund on our room and apologized profusely. She deserves a raise!
