Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Cape Cod Hyannis

Good hotel in the off season. Pool was small but enjoyable. New parking fee is ridiculous- especially in the off season. Room could have been a little cleaner. Microwave and fridge in room was convenient. Nice that you can walk from the hotel to the Cape Cod Mall. A new daily parking fee was implemented December 1, 2024. It is ridiculous, especially in the off season.

Pool was dirty and very loud with fans in pool area. Front desk was intermittently staffed. Long wait but very friendly

Staff was friendly. Room was spacious and clean, but bathroom was dated. Not enough light for mirror. Toilet bowl stained. Some stains on wallpaper on bathroom divider. Also surprised to be charged for parking in the open, spacious lot near mall. This was not city, nor garage parking. Overall, convenient, nice continental breakfast, fridge and microwave in room, and comfortable bed.

Was very clean and friendly. Breakfast was great. Disappointed with being charged $20 to park my car on the property for one day

The pool is DISGUSTING FILTHY I feel like it doesn’t get much use but it needs to be drained and scrubbed regularly. My Granddaughter didn’t care I only let her swim because there was a lot of Chlorine in the pool.

The Fairfield Marriott Hyannis is right next to the Cape Cod Mall if you like to shop. Rooms a decent size and well equipped; large bathroom; nice sized pool; good standard breakfast buffet. Staff made up for the generic nature of the building by being warm, welcoming and helpful.

Everything was good except for the size of the pool.

We was very please on picking this hotel have everything we needed and the room was very clean and comfortable breakfast was good the pool small but we got the chance to use it with not kids running around the only issue is the extra $10 per night for parking is complete unnecessary was plenty empty spot we was there for 3 days i won't do it for a week...!

In the past 3 years my family has stayed in 4 other hotels- Fairfield by Marriott was BY FAR THE BEST! The staff was amazing, kind and helpful. Rooms were so clean, beautiful, and quiet. Delicious breakfast. Loved the heated pool. Extra shout out to Tara, Eric and the nice woman at the front desk on Saturday evening. Morning breakfast staff were great too. We will be back!!

We were not told about a parking fee of $10 per day, which is a sneaky way to charge more money for using the parking lot. Also, the pool was deplorable. Brown spots all over the bottom and ringing the outer corners of the pool what I assume was mildew. Neither of my kids wanted to swim in it based on the nasty appearance. I expected much more from a Fairfield and will not return. The Marriot next door was a prior stay and that’s where we will stay next time based on overall dissatisfaction with our experience.

Poor, staff was great location accessible however the room was not a clean as I would have expected. The bathroom in particular I stayed in 110 and the shower head was full of mold and the wall and grout had red bacteria all over it

Overall, I would rate our 3 day experience at Fairfield inn Marriott in Hyannis a 4 Star rating. Our check in experience was great, no hassle. Rooms are fairly new , we had an 2 Queen Bed and clean as advertised. I rated them 4 star for cleanliness, as in our 2nd day, requested a room refresh only to come back in the evening & our room was still the same it was bfor we left in the morning. I notified front desk and was told that housekeeping person assigned to our room was knew and checked it off as it was cleaned for the day. Hotel management acknowledged & was apologetic. Wished there’ll be more supervision on thier side to counter check work of a new hire. Hope this is an eye opener for them. Also noticed thier AC vents in the bathroom full of accumulated dust which could be an eye sore and health hazard specially for guest with respiratory issues in the case of my wife who has asthma. Regarding the Complimentary Breakfast, I would rate 3-4stars due to choices, still not up to par with Hampton Inn standards. They served same sausage for 2 of our 3 day stay. Wish theyll explore more on other choices. Front desk, except for day of check in, they’re not too friendly or don’t even greet guests as u come in/ out of hotel. Despite all these observations, I would still like to give Fairfield Inn another try once we visit Hyannis. They have a very nice location, next to Cape Cod Mall & 1-2 minute walk to a variety of restaurants. 2-3 minute drive to Whole Foods, Stop and Shop .

I was incredibly disappointed in this Fairfield inn. Our room, 140, smelled musty and like dried old pee. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were horrible. I would not recommend stay

Room was damp and full of black mold. Second room smelt just as bad. Would not recommend

Check in to hotel was good, after that things went down hill. It immediately became apparent that the room was not clean. This was not just housekeeping had missed something, there were stains on the walls, the a/c had a vent so clogged with dust/debris it had grown through the opening into the room. There was months, if not years, of dust in all corners of the room. The bathroom was also in poor condition. It appeared as though maintenance and housekeeping had taken an extended holiday abroad. The morning buffet/breakfast included pre-packaged muffins you would find in a gas station, several stale bagels, and even more stale cereal.

Quiet. solidly built. Obviously on the new side. Immaculately clean, nice bathroom, shower, and free breakfast was a perk. also reasonable rates during peak season.

Honestly shocked by all the 10/10 reviews. I picked this hotel due to the reviews. The place was grungy. There was black mold on the ceiling in the shower- looks like it had been patched up multiple times. There were scuffs, paint chips and holes In the wall through the room. The woman who checked me in was nice- however had a difficult time with the reservation- took at least 20 minutes to check in and i was the only person since it was a late check in. Said it was due to having a 3rd party reservation- so beware of that booking through hotels.com Definitely not worth the money. Will go back to either the courtyard or doubletree next time I’m in town.

How would rate place that had bed bugs as soon as you open the bed ?

The t.v. in my room (333) had a constant issue with going from light to dark without provocation and there wasn’t any manual capability to fox or adjust it. Annoying to say the least. Also, the water pressure in the bathroom sink was so low it trickled out. Very disappointed for such a quality hotel.

Beds maybe could be better but worth the stay.

The property was very comfortable, with an inviting lobby/breakfast space, and rooms that are thoughtfully laid out for optimal space, complete with rolling extra stools, fridges tucked out of the way, plenty of drawer space, and extra towel hooks and space in the bathroom.

I had a nice stay. The king bed was very clean and very comfortable. Room was clean and neat. The floor of the shower was very clean, however, I think the edges around the shower door might need a little extra scrub once in a while. Inside the toilet didn't seem to be cleaned very well, but the seat and the rest of the bathroom was fine. Front desk staff very friendly and welcoming. I didn't get a chance to have the complimentary breakfast. Next time. I'll definitely be back :)

Decent stay, Nice hotel overall. Bed was way too hard for my liking but I like softer than most people so my back was stiff and in pain every morning. Breakfast was decent and a nice bonus but the coffee was just plain bad and never hot, kind of warmish.

This hotel is very dated and out of style. The first room I got was smelly and the mattress was awful and the bedding was gross. I switched rooms and it was better but still not Marriott quality. I am a Marriott timeshare owner and was very disappointed.

We needed a wheelchair accessible room for my husband and reserved one. The room was clean, spacious, and accessible. We were attending a wedding and my husband’s suit was in a garment bag which he wanted to hang in the closet. I also wanted to hang my dress in the closet. The pole in the closet was at waist height, so we couldn’t hang our items. I guess that’s part of accessibility, so maybe lower and higher hanger poles should be available. We tried hanging them from the shower rod, but couldn’t reach it. There was a hole in the wall, with what looked like a plastic bag inside the hole. The room was freezing and could not adjust the heat. Someone from Maintenance was able to fix it on the third try. People online raved about the breakfast so we were expecting something special. It was standard hotel breakfast. Overall, the hotel was clean and served our purpose.

The front desk lady was so nice, she gave us option of room and floor , very nice , I just didn’t get her name , we appreciate her. She makes our stay easy

I needed to cut my trip short as my son was not feeling well. They happily obliged and did not change me for the third day. I will happily stay with them again

Check in and check out we’re super frustrating! I was trying to leave by 6:00 and was held there because the person checking out kept switching computers and I had to switch cards to pay my bill! This was after I paid, left… he claimed my card wouldn’t work… Had a card on file I haven’t used since my boyfriend died 4 years ago… it was super stressful and uncomfortable! Got on the road late… not happy with the check in or check out service at all!

On July 23rd, the fire alarm went off, unknown to us there was a high level of carbon monoxide in one of the residents rooms. We were let back in to our rooms after an hour, after all the rooms were checked. After I got back to my room after being out all afternoon, I found a gift bag in my room with a beautiful note of apology for the disruption. In my opinion, the staff went over and above

This hotel was is just AWESOME! The management and staff are true professionals. My wallet was found in the parking lot and Tanielle from guess services held it for me until my return to the hotel. The General Manager Sarah Hobbs is a PROFESSIONAL CLASS Act! This property is the ONLY property I will stay at in Hyannis. It’s next to the mall and exceptional dining choices in the area.
