Room and bathroom were clean, adequate. Beds not very comfortable. Outside area was dirty, cigarette butts all over the sidewalks. They did not charge for dogs which was nice, but pet area extremely limited (very small grass area, and not very clean. Coffee in lobby, but not in room.

At check in, they couldn’t find my reservation that I made in March. Luckily I got the last room. The room was very old, bath tub had black stuff around the bottom of the surround and bathroom door was peeling. The bed felt like we were sleeping in a box spring with a half inch foam topper. SUPER uncomfortable and made our bodies hurt. The second night, there was no parking left in the motels parking lot. I was told to park either at Arby’s or the old Mexican restaurant that is up for sale. I will never book there again!

My room had dead bugs in corners and hair in the tub. Second night we noticed cockroaches and since it was after 11am which is check out time, we didn\'t get reimbursed for that night. The manager wanted to" go see" the roaches as if the roaches were still going to be out and about and then we were asked if we"wanted to switch into another room". NO WAY!!!

Kingsport TN Motel 6 is very clean. First time staying at this motel but second time staying in Kingsport. First time was at Red Roof. I can say that next time I’m in Kingsport I’ll be staying at this Motel 6. The room was very clean. The floors were clean and mopped and free of any dirt or debris, the towels and bed were clean. The parking spaces got a little scarce the later the day went but it seemed guests could park next door in the Arby's parking lot or the closed down restaurant. There’s a little grassy area that I could take my dog out which included a trash and baggies for dog waste. If I had to mention any cons, I’d say the bed was too hard and the pillows were too flat. Also almost had a mishap where someone from management opened my room door without knocking. Thankfully the latch was flipped over so he didn’t get the door fully open. I’m assuming he got his rooms mixed up but a knock on the door first would have been greatly appreciated. Overall, I’d stay at this Motel 6 again. Cheaper than Red Roof per night but above and beyond much cleaner.

The room itself was okay. The bathroom was gross. The shower panels were falling apart, black stuff in the cracks. The floors were very dirty and sticky. The pillows were very small. The mirror in the main room was broken. The woman at the front desk was very nice.

Nice spacious room and bathroom was awesome. Shower had great water pressure, plenty of hot water and the showerheads sprayer was great. The bed was a little to hard. Could have been a little more comfortable.

Very clean, good service. But you get what you pay for, so the bed's clean but not very comfy and you can hear everything that goes on outside your room and in your neighbor's rooms. If you're a light sleeper I'd find another place or bring earplugs but for the price, it was fine.

It was clean and comfy. We couldn't get the TV remote to work and they came right away to fix it. Only small thing was the bathtub has the paint cracked on one side. Not a big deal, shower was fine, mostly cosmetic.

The room was in disarray. TV did not wok. Phone did not work, huge gash in the shower. Large space under main door that faces outside. Pretty bad overall. But the people who worked there were very helpful. Got tired of calling/getting them.

Not sure what was on the floors but they were so slick you could barely stand still without your shoes sliding, definitely would not go barefoot in that room. The bed was extremely uncomfortable,you could feel every spring I barely slept at all. TV was tiny way smaller than the mount it was on. My wife and I actually left and didn’t stay our second night. We booked another hotel for the second night of our weekend trip.

No TV channels/service. Got tv service going , then could not work the TV with remote (front desk did not know how to program /link the remote....had to get up and manually change sound/channels/turn tv off/on. Room condition was average.

The room was clean, the faucet in the tub dripped constantly, the beds were the most uncomfortable I've ever tried to sleep in, and the motel tried to bill my credit card even after I already paid for the room!!

Anytime I'm in Kingsport, 'this' is where I stay. Been coming here almost every month for the last 3-4 years with my son. The staff is wonderful and we've never had a problem. The beds are very comfy - I knock out reeeal quick!

Me and my Chihuahuas had stayed here in late June after moving from south Florida & the staff were very accommodating letting us check in a couple hours early because of temps in mid 90s. Monday I had to have major surgery in Kingsport where my long time physician and surgeon practice. I live 120miles away so I booked a room for the night before and night of surgery. The staff at the motel were once again great. They made sure I had an accessible room on the lower level and also made sure the parking space right outside the room was open for me following the surgery since I was not able to walk far. Do not expect a Sheraton but it is safe, quiet and the staff are wonderful, therefore my Chihuahuas and I highly recommend this Motel 6.

The room was ok, although the tub was dripping and there were lots of flies. The pillows were … dinky? The real issue was safety. People (many) were loitering outside their rooms at night smoking weed or just blocking the walkway and making it feel a little unsafe for a female traveler both nights. If a man wants to have a cheap stay, this is fine - but I wished I’d picked a safer stop and I wouldn’t take my children there for sure. At 1:25 AM my neighbors started blaring mariachi music right outside my door in the upstairs walkway and I had to call the front desk to ask them to do something. To their credit, the music stopped in about 3-4 minutes. I carried an Xacto knife in my pocket coming back the second night because I’d stayed at the hospital visiting my friend until midnight and I was actually quite worried. Last word of advice - when they saw I was alone, they could have offered me a door I could park in front of and get right inside but instead gave me an upstairs room far from the stairs so I had to walk by multiple loitering residents to go to or from my room.

Clean room staff was friendly and helpful. The ice machine look like it had mold on the ice shut i was disappointed because there wasn't a coffee maker in the room but there was coffee in the lobby. But for the price of the room it was very good. I would stay again.
