The office for Strawberry Valley Inn looked like something out of a fairy tale. The grounds were inviting and well maintained with tables and chairs to sit and visit or have a drink. The inn had a feel of an old motor court motel with 2024 updates. There was even a peek at Mount Shasta. The inn is perfectly located to walk to shops and restaurants. Our room was very spacious and comfortable.

This adorable Inn showcases original home, with antique feel. Sit down breakfast was homemade. Blueberry waffles, fruit and good coffee. Large room and so comfortable and clean. We will be back for sure. We had small dog and for the first time this room didn’t stink like dog pee. We could park right in front of room for easy loading. One level so easy to get our little pooch out. Big front grass where we sat and had glass of wine and pooch fetched her ball. From Washington state on road trip and wish we could have stayed longer.

Charming Inn. Breakfast was amazing. Friendly staff. Rooms are very nice and well furnished. Grounds ar e beautiful with a lot of places to sit and enjoy. Only regret was not booking more nights.

First stay. Quaint, cozy, clean. Nice chat with young lady at check in. Offered us EV charging overnight at hotel room with outside plug. Being able to park directly in front of our room makes unloading/loading a lot easier. Appreciate the information binder in the room with histories and directions to various area attractions. Waffle breakfast served was very good. Definitely would stay here again next time we pass through Shasta.

Loved our quick stay here! The a/c worked great (it was 100° outside). Cute beer/pizza garden right next door which was open late. Grounds are adorable and well maintained. Breakfast waffles were super tasty!

They have a small wine tasting in the evenings, and a breakfast. Staff were really nice. Rooms were pretty big, with a lot of the little extras like a coffee maker, fridge, microwave etc.

Lovely boutique motel. Room was very comfortable. You park right in front of your room door. Lovely quiet grounds, easy walking to multiple restaurants. We will stay here again. Be sure to get there by 5pm or make arrangements before 5pm for a late arrival.

This is a lovely place to stay. The owner lives in a house on the property. She cooked our breakfast for each person as they came in. Everything is perfectly arranged and very clean.

I really wanted to like this property. The staff were all very polite and it’s a cute little old place. However the room was dirty, food was left in the fridge, trash was still in the garbages, and I really question if they even changed our sheets. We also didn’t even have towels upon check in. There is a tv however there’s no internet to actually use the Netflix or other streaming apps on the tv so you can choose between about 10 channels. Breakfast was better than a continental muffin but not by much. Each person is basically given one hard boiled egg, a waffle, and a few pieces of fruit. It was better than nothing but if you’re a hearty eater, you’ll be disappointed.

This is definitely one of the best in Mt Shasta. The room was very clean and cozy. The property is all remodeled and has alot of charm to it. Breakfast was unique and delicious how they prepared it when we arrived. All staff was very friendly and helpful. And Harvest the restaurant across steet is in my opinion the best in Mt Shasta! It makes a great romantic get away with two gems in walking distance. Thank you!! We will be back!

The staff was great with fast, easy check in. The breakfast was great. The room was quiet with separate living area and bedroom. The only bad thing was the water pressure in the shower was not good at all. Would stay there again.

Adorable old school motor lodge with nice clean sized rooms. Complimentary breakfast in main house was a nice surprise. Only complaint is the bathroom fan - sounds like a fighter jet taking off - really need to replace those old fans.

This place is a real gem. it is an old school motor lodge tucked around an historic home and gardens. Rooms updated with mini-split to provide ultimate comfort. Stay includes a wine hour and breakfast. Several restaurants within a block but you can also easily walk to downtown restaurants (all less than a mile).

Air con works great but blows directly into the bed. The room is nice and clean. My husband and I have stayed here at least once a month for years and this time I requested a late check out (by an hour) and they would not accommodate which is surprising given the hotel is only half full.

Cute rustic. Room was clean rustic and had a very small bathroom area. Staff was super friendly. They offer free continental breakfast good but super slow. Only one guys working in kitchen, super nice guy.

Booked the rooms, read the check-in policy and found that check-in after 8pm required a call to the property which was nearly impossible as the phone number for the Inn doesn't work. I called about 16 times. Its not the hotels fault necessarily. When I was able to communicate with the hotel finally, check-in process was simplified. Called a couple days later for receipt, same problem. Talked to whomever was there and she was rude. Had to comtinually call to get someone who was willing to put in effort to help me. Won't be staying there again.

Azalea and Cheyenne were absolutely fantastic—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was outstanding, featuring homemade waffles, fresh fruit, and eggs. They even offered complimentary wine, and kindly helped us pack breakfast to take on our trip. The place was spotless, felt completely safe, and had a charm that easily surpassed the big-name hotels. We stayed at four different hotels during our trip, and this one was by far the best of the best.

Great location, clean, spacious and great service. The front desk called us to confirm our arrival time (which was after hours) and let us know where we could find the keys. They also turned the heat and lights on for us, which was very kind. While we didn’t stay for breakfast, it sounded great and the dining area looked bright and nice. We’d definitely stay here again.

This is an older property that has been kept as current as possible given the circumstances. The main building is quaint and pretty, the rooms are just rooms, but are well maintained. Our room had 2 comfortable queens, a microwave, fridge and freezer, which was nice for refreshing our cold packs. There was plenty of lighting, which for some reason has become rare in other places. There were good restaurants within walking distance, they provided breakfast in the main building with options that included made-to-order blueberry waffles that were delicious. Staff were friendly and courteous, even when power went out (in the entire town) for a couple of hours, pointing us to restaurants that they knew had generators. We would stay there again if we ever have reason to venture to Mt. Shasta.
