Fantastisk 5 stjerners hotell i gammel stil, stoffduker og stoff servietter selv til frokost forteller egentlig alt. Forsøk baren på kveldstid, når bartender står der i smoking, og serverer de lekreste drinker ja da blir alltid kvelden perfekt. Deilige store senger og dun dyner, store fine rom. On the hotel homepage and on hotel.com it is highlighted that there is a pool and sauna. Fot this reason we booked the hotel but upon arrival we was told that it is out of order!! So we should have been informed about that in advance but was not. This was really irritating. Otherwise friendly reception and breakfast staff. Very good breakfast with many choices. Clean room, Fine internet.

We had a lovely stay, capped off by finding our hotel was a feature on one of our walking tours! It's a very iconic hotel, in an excellent location. Staff very friendly. Our room had a sloping ceiling which was a bit awkward for a tall person. The pool table in a beautiful room is a nice touch. Breakfast was very good - both buffet and from menu.

They found us a kettle (it's more of a coffee than tea country!) and gave us fresh milk whenever we asked so we could make a proper brew in our room (we took our own tea bags). Breakfast was lovely - large selection. We tried the 'breakfast sausage' - turned out to be hot dogs which was a suprise! Pastries were amazing - we think they come from the bakery next door. Location is great - right in the centre of the old town, but not right next to louder cafes and bars. The building itself has a lot of character - not a modern, glass and steel place. So expect low ceilings, dark wood and old furniture. Room was large, clean and bed was comfy.

Always love staying here, it’s just few things… when it got hot outside (30 degrees) I had HOT water running from cold faucet and A/C was not much helpful, but to consider that such temperature are rear in Lithuania it was not big of an issue. Overall very friendly staff and place is clean, love old French style!

The hotel itself is very nice and the service is impeccable. I was put in what was referred to as the attic with a VERY pitched ceiling. I hit my head at least 7 times and ended up with bad headaches. It was room 414. Given that the hotel was quite empty, I do not understand why they could not have given me a better room.

The hotel is amazing! Firstly, you smell it. Secondly, greeted by friendly and professional staff. The hotel is so beautiful, the photos don't do the justice. My deluxe double room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was huge and very pretty, I'd love to have one like that at home. TV is not a smart one so we could cast from the phone and mattress wasn't to my liking. The breakfast buffet had a poor selection, but at least has hot menu to order, which is nice. We used the pool and sauna privately, which was nice. Averall, I enjoyed the stay and would be back.

And its still has a very lovely lobby and restaurant as well as location is amazing for tourists. However, everything else was disappointing. First of all, reception staff was average. They did not provide us any information at all, neither about food, wifi, other available services. The only fact they cared about is to make us wait for extra 40 minutes as our room was not ready and they promised we will get upgrade. And we did not :) . Also, rooms have the worst soundproof. We were awaken few times each night and morning by people chatting in the corridors. You can hear every sneeze and every whisper. But the most awkward thing you definitely do not expect from 5 star hotel is their penniy-pinching. They only provided water to the room for the first night and never filled it again. There were no other perks provided (in other hotels they can give you chocolates or wine but not here) and their minibar was insanely overpriced. Honestly, will never come back. There are many more better options around
