Countryside Inn Jackson

Rooms were clean and breakfast consisted of cereal, grits, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, toast, and bagels. Construction going on in the parking lot, and pool closed. Housekeeping was wonderful, very friendly, and made sure we hand anything we needed for the 4 nights we stayed.

Property felt very pet friendly, clean, staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was not huge but enough.

Room wasn’t as near as big as the photos. Not much selection for breakfast. It was ok for spending one night.

If you like rooms with doors that don't lock, rooms with cat or dog feces included for free, room phones with no dial tone, propped open fire doors, milk left from previous guests, blood on the toilet paper, dresser drawers that don't stay closed or level without cardboard, general disgustingness, rotten fruit for breakfast and a "FROUNT" desk sign with a number to call for assistance and a list of 'amenities' that are out of order, then this is the place for you! I have filed a formal complaint with hotels.com and if I don't get a satisfactory response I will then file with a complaint with the Jackson County Health Department and the Michigan Bureau of Fire Services. DO NOT STAY HERE, THIS PROPERTY SHOULD BE CONDEMMED AND IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH HAMPTON INN. They will not even publish their email address!
