Holiday Inn Jackson NW - Airport Road by IHG

I was bummed that i couldn't shower because they only gave me 2 towels when I booked a room for 4 people. Was told I had to wait the next day for towels.. The splash pad was down. Which is was the only reason I booked there. Disappointed and no compensation for it. Card reader was down at the restaurant. We lost power for hours. I was just really let down but the whole experience. The front desk people were very nice and helpful.

The pool area is too small, but everything else was perfect.

Disappointed that the was no business center to use a computer and printer.

All the tvs did not work only in bar as they said it was from different set up than rooms. They blamed the non working tvs on high wind but there really was non to be saying that. Also had to change rooms because the toilet didn’t flush and there were stains picked up from uv light. Next room the air conditioner slash heater unit was stuck on cold and could not shut off or just.had to unplu the unit. The restaurant had a few items we ordered the cheeseburgers and the hamburger was not even round it was just maybe took up half the bun. The bartender served my companion his drink and took another 30 min before mine as she chatted with them instead of taking my drink of choice. Bar tender and check in lady were nice but that was the end of it. We left before morning in a terrible mood. I had bought the breakfast but they only gave me one ticket instead of two for breakfast. They also said upon booking, it could be brought to room but on ticket they said there was no room service. Since we didn’t even sleep and left hotel can’t say how breakfast would had been. To say the least i wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel is beautiful and the staff were amazing. The hotel lobby bar and restaurant that offers room service made my t a truly relaxing experience

Rooms were great. The "heated" pool which was the whole reason for booking was freezing and the ceramic tile around the pool was dangerously slippery when simply walking. Made the stay a total bummer for the kids

Great places to stay in, the pool is amazing for little kids and big kids/ adults. The rooms were nice and comfortable.

Convenient parking, clean property with a modern lobby featuring a breakfast buffet and afternoon cocktails.

Had a little trouble checking in, front desk couldn't find my reservation at first. The pool was cold and didn't have enough towels. Great breakfast and cleanness.

Everything was great I slept good in that bed lol and shout out to Ms Liz ! She’s awesome ! All the staff are great very friendly and happy to help. I would love a bath tub next time but always an amazing stay with you guys! Room was nice and clean. Lots of great parking and the location is peaceful. Next time we might do breakfast. Also my fiance loved the gym!

There was an end table between the beds that had all kinds of dust and garbage behind it. The shower head leaked water out the twist on instead of the small head holes so there was water all outside the bathtub. There was a hair extension laying on the floor next to one of the beds from the previous people that stayed apparently.

This was a great Holiday Inn. The staff was incredibly friendly and the room was clean. I asked for a room that wasn’t facing the freeway and they happily obliged. The parking lot amd facilities were well kept and in nice condition. I will definitely come back.

I’ve stayed at this location a handful of times. I live in Jackson but my kids like to swim so sometimes I get a hotel and this one is our go to. Not anymore. Check in was great. Service was friendly. We get to the room and there’s an entire woman’s outfit sitting in the chair that’s at the desk. I thought it was my kids outfit so I handled someone’s nasty clothes. There was poop marks 12 inches above where the toilet paper is at. There was some nasty stuff on the end of the bed I slept in. I really don’t want to describe it but I have pics and I did show the staff. The kids pool normally has a sprinkler, but according to the staff is likely not going to be fixed due to cost or something. I don’t know. Pretty ridiculous when I paid $140 for a room. The ac/heat unit needed attention. Wouldn’t get warm. Wouldn’t get cool. The plug in next to the bed was broke so we had to charge things across the room. I booked with notes that i had a 7 year old and a 12 year old and I was booked in a conjoining room which I did not feel safe in. As I explained to the staff, I’m not trying to be negative but I loved this hotel at one point. And I want it to get back to that. Maybe this was an off day for the staff. I’m not sure. I know me staying elsewhere won’t hurt anyone’s pockets but I’ll be taking a break from Holiday Inn.

Bathroom sink drain gave off a foul odor, very noisy - no soundproofing for the door or window. Housekeeping never bothered to clean any of the room surfaces.

Bathroom was not as clean as other Holiday Inns. Bathroom sink draining was slow and smelled like mold. At 6:00 AM, the shower and sink hot water was only lukewarm.

The room was not clean. The bathroom especially. All the dressers and coffee tables

Quite room comfortable beds

Everything was good. The bad was my only complaint. Very hard.

We were in town for our daughter's graduation from college. I ordered just a regular room, but when we entered it, it was a suite. It was a very nice room and I really enjoyed that the bedroom was separated from everything else so that we couldn't hear anyone in the hallway. We couldn't use anything else in the room as we were only there for one evening.

Our room was very spacious and clean with a separate desk and a separate tv/sofa area. Would have been great for a family needing to spread out!

Had a room reserved. When we showed up at 1 am they had no rooms left even though I had confirmation for it.

I presented my confirmation fromExpedia and they said that there wasn’t a room for us after we had driven hours to get there. This has never happened before with Expedia and couldn’t believe it. My friend and I checked into the hotel at night after a long day of driving. We only stayed the night, but we had excellent service and check-in support with Bill, the front desk attendant. Of all the hotels we stayed in along our route home, this was by far the cleanest, nicest, and friendliest hotel. Even the continental breakfast was surprisingly good, more variety and hot foods than other hotels had offered. The atmosphere was family-friendly, the location was safe and near lots of big box stores, fast food joints and restaurants, and a few different gas stations. A special thank you to the staff, especially Bill, for all their hard work in making the Holiday Inn Jackson NW a great experience for two tired ladies on their long drive back home!

I have stayed at this location a couple times now. Both times I have stayed, they have been excellent. Check in is always easy. Front desk staff are always professional and knowledgeable. They have a restaurant in the hotel. We did not take advantage of that this time but we have in the past and it’s great! Prices are comparable to maybe what you would see at like an Applebees but in my opinion, worth it. Simply for convenience. We will stay here again.

Tried to check in. Told us no rooms were available even though we paid for it

The hotel called me less than 24 hours ahead of our departure to Michigan and said they canceled my rooms. They just said, oops we are full. My reservation had been made well over a month ahead of time. They made zero attempt to help get us set up elsewhere so we were scrambling to find a place at the last minute. Won’t EVER book there again.

A. Ice hotel with friendly staff. All of our staff interactions were friendly and efficient, although the hotel was very busy due to a bowling tournament and understaffed in key areas like check in and breakfast. The staff that was present worked their tails off! The only negative was the “refresh room very five days” policy. We stayed three nights, and the tiny wastebaskets were not nearly adequate. If you only empty the wastebaskets every five days, you should get bigger wastebaskets!

Convenient location just off the freeway. Clean and new hotel

Easy access to 94 and lots of dining options

The hotel, staff, and room were all fine. The only downside is having to drive around a Meijer parking lot and onto a road that had had been torn up to get to the hotel. That’s not on the hotel. I really feel the hotel was very good, although somewhat dated. Everything worked well and the staff was excellent.

No complaints. Easy access to interstate, clean rooms and a good breakfast for a reasonable price. Would recommend.

Close to Meijer, easy access to hiway. very quiet and clean. I am very leery of hotels, but this one was very comfortable and I enjoyed the stay.

Easy on off of 94

The road was under construction leading to the hotel and they parked the construction vehicles in the guest parking.

I thought the place could have been more lit up. Also it is not easy to find because it is directly behind Myers’s and at night the road around Myers is not well lite. Other than that, it is a great place to stay at.

Need better choice on breakfast. Food was not fresh and hot.

The kiddy pool was very nice addition to the regular pool. Breakfast was a mess because they were understaffed.

Hotel was modern and nice. All the staff is really nice. Chose the breakfast option and worth it. It was eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast and several other options as well. Overall this hotel is better than most and well worth the price.
