It was clean and comfortable. Remodeled rooms. The elevator was under maintenance but the staff reached out to us before our arrival to make sure we could manage the stairs. I would stay again.

This place was amazing. It felt so clean and updated. The shampoo conditioner body wash hand soap, etc was Dove brand. They had stuff we forgot. The pool was clean and nice and open late! The boys loved it. The pullout sofa was even clean and comfy. Would definitely stay here again. Absolutely satisfied with ALL of it!

We have stayed here several times now. Right off the highway makes it handy while researching family. The inconvenience we had this time was parking due to the remodeling but do understand it’s needed. We appreciate the cleanliness, etc. Breakfast was perfect!

Nice hotel, comfortable, professional and nice employees. Only negative is the construction and no pool available due to construction. We paid more to stay at this specific hotel and was disappointed that we could not swim.

Overall, we had a good stay. The property is in the middle of a huge renovation project, but they tried to make the inconveniences as minimal as possible. The room was clean and spacious, even for our group of six. However, the pool is closed as part of the renovations, and the grandkids were extremely disappointed that they were not able to swim. The HVAC unit in the room cooled the room adequately, but it made an annoying tapping/clicking sound whenever the air conditioning was engaged.

The elevator was down and was for over a month and paid 180.00 for 2 rooms and should of been a discount for rooms not 180.00 but the front desk clerk was super nice but booked thru Expedia 😱

Nice staff. Helpful and courteous. I had a suite, it was very spacious could sleep six and still have room to move around. The floors, the bathroom, everything was extremely clean. I tend to clean my own hotel when I check in, but there was no need here. It was spotless not one peck of dirt was on my cleaning wipes.

Came away with a cold because AC blows on the bed. Breakfast room poorly designed and small. So crowded we left and ate out. We were there for a two night stay for a family event. Chose the hotel thinking it would be a comfortable place to watch the Ohio State - Texas game. TV did not work. Desk had no solution other than for us to move to a different room up one floor and my wife was no go on that. We were unpacked and settled in. I asked to use another room to watch the 12 to 3 game and was refused. Even offered to watch in room that had not been cleaned yet. We are MVC owners and have status with Bonvoy. They did not care. So found a noisy bar to watch the game which was not an enjoyable way to see the game.

The property has energy saving ac. Need to be in the room to prompt the controller to cool the room. Also switched off the fan when target temp is reached. This makes a surprise for someone using the fan for white nose. Room was updated and super

We love staying at this Holiday Inn Express!! The hotel suite is always clean and comfortable, the staff are so kind and professional, the breakfast buffet is always delicious/has lots of hot/cold selections, and the location is next to many wonderful restaurants and Berea Artisan Center!! I want to give a shout out to Jennifer Clem, Breakfast Hostess, who with her smile and wonderful energy provided a great selection of omelets, biscuits and gravy, turkey sausage, cinnamon rolls, etc. always available for all the guests at the hotel from 6 am to 9:30 am each morning!! On Sunday, July 6th, she had an assistant, Amber, who was awesome as well!! God bless you all!!

It’s been ages since I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and I was a little skeptical. Needing an easy to find at any time of night pet friendly stay near Richmond/Berea, I opted to give this one a try… and I am *so* glad I did!!! From check in thru check out, every member of the staff was wonderful! The front desk was friendly and helpful (and even had doggy treats!) Housekeeping was amazing- I spilt water on the tile floor, and when I wiped it up, the towel was still perfectly white… the entire room was super clean. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was a good start to a long day. This was a perfect stop with a pup… We will definitely stay again anytime we are in the area!

Really disappointed by this and I never leave bad reviews. I had been driving for 11 hours with three kids, mostly in the rain and in the dark. I made an accident by booking this hotel, thinking it was 30 minutes in front of us, and after booking I put the address into google maps, and it turns out it was an hour behind us. I immediately attempted to call Expedia to try to cancel my reservation. After being unable to reach Expedia for 10 minutes, I called the hotel. Their local number went to a call center, not the actual hotel. I explained the situation and after almost 30 minutes of them trying to figure it out, they determined they could not give me a refund and I’d have to go through Expedia, but was told that if Expedia put in the request for a refund, it should be no problem. After another 20 minutes of trying, I finally reached Expedia, who contacted the hotel and I was told I’d have to wait for a manager to approve or decline my refund request. The next day I learned that it was declined. Now, this was my error, not their’s. However, I called immediately after making my mistake and notified them that I wouldn’t be coming, and they very easily could have chosen to refund the money. I booked the right Holiday Inn Express, that I originally intended to book and stayed there, but I wasn’t going to drive an hour backwards in the rain, just to add an additional hour to my drive the next morning. I get that it was my fault, but it’s not like they lost a sale to someone else.

There was a very rude lady who worked the front desk named Antonia, she charged my account for a pet fee without asking if my dog was a service dog, (she is) and told me if I didn’t sign that paper that she was still charging my account, which she did. I knew when I looked it up and called the week before the hotel said pet friendly. After approaching Antonia again after looking up the rules for service dogs, she was still rude, admitted that she never asked me, she even went as far as to ask me what exactly my service dog is for like I was lying and what kind of illness did I have? I advised her I’d be making a complaint and she said that’s great and her manager “Patel” would happily have her back. Everyone else we met at the hotel was very friendly and respectful, with that being said I have to brag on Likaren, Cindy, housekeeping ,Shauna at front desk, Julian who promptly brought us towels when we asked and Tee who always had a smile and greeted us as soon as he saw us. My other complaint is that when I booked this hotel it didn’t state that they were under construction at the time. Every day I was there I had an allergic reaction to something that I’m assuming they were using during construction. I itched all over and my eyes and face were swollen every morning. I and another person who stayed there were sick to our stomach the whole trip which made our stay pretty much miserable. They also started working on construction at 7am! Several other visitors had same complaints
