Hotel Preko Ugljan Island, Curio Collection By Hilton

brand new hotel kept in light wood tones, sporting spacious rooms with balchonies and a lovely outdoor restaurant facing the sun and marina. The breakfast was above what you would expect from an international hotel chain. There is no beach club but a public beach (or rather: pier) 100 m away, with a few (probably too few in hight season) sun beds. There is an outdoor 1st floor sun lounging terrace facing the habour and an indoor pool that you would wish was outdoor. To swim in the ocean you'd have to exit the hotel and cross the marina - not ideal. Staff was unusually friendly. All in all a wonderful property, although nearby Heritage Hotel has better access to the ocean.

Eveything is great. Brian new. Only complaint is parking is over priced. €25 per day for each day you are there. Be ready for a parking bill if there for a while.

Beautifully designed and ideally located on the island’s beachfront, it’s perfect for both business and leisure travellers seeking quality and convenience. From the moment my family and I arrived, we were treated like VIPs. The warm, professional welcome from Nikolina, Silva, and Drazen set the tone for a truly memorable stay. The management team inc Josipa, Anita, Zana, and Viktor were always on hand with a smile, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. Their care and attentiveness went far beyond expectation. The hotel itself is stunning, with elegant interiors and thoughtfully designed rooms offering exceptional comfort and luxury. Dining was a standout experience, with a tasting menu that was both elevated and authentic. The spa, expertly managed by Lucija, provided a serene escape, restorative and beautifully executed. A highlight was the Hilton Island Boat Tour with Jakob, whose passion and local knowledge added so much to the journey. In short, this is one of the finest Hilton experiences I’ve had globally. I left feeling refreshed, valued, and eager to return, both personally and professionally. A true gem. – Richard LK
