Nice hotel in a great spot. Parking is included but was tough to get a spot easily. Everything was great, but the showers are pretty rough. Low pressure, and about as narrow as can be with the bars and handles in the shower... Could do without, it wasnt a handicap room or anything

Beautiful hotel with clean, comfortable and very nice rooms. Especially appreciated the AC. Staff was excellent and helpful. Great spread for breakfast. It is the perfect location for walking to town and the Killarney National Park.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and quiet, you’ll be able to sleep peacefully and comfortably. Areas is safe to go around, walkable to restaurants , convenient stores & gift shops. Parking is a bit tight, but manageable. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great location near town. Walkable to most places. Nice pub and great breakfast. Parking is tight and the rooms a bit small for our liking. A large or elderly person would have a hard time navigating the tub and shower that came with our room.

Stayed for five nights. First night has room looking over adjacent equipment on roof. Changed to view for next four nights which was good. Pleasant staff and well located. Only shower is in a tub that is on raise platform meaning cannot easily step out of tub and safety issue. Keep that in mind if not used to high steps.

Staff on check-in was excellent. They helped us get all of our bags inside in the rain (even though she was only working the front desk). Parking is a challenge at this property. Overall, a good one night stay on our 17-day drive around the country.

The hotel was conveniently located in the center of town. The view from our room was fantastic, it looked across the main road and into the park. We enjoyed walking to everything. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in town, but the hotel restaurant and bar service is excellent as well. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the dining room. The staff were very kind and helpful. We had an early morning train, and the chef prepared a delicious “to go” bag which was just wonderful! We would love to go back again, and we would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family!

Small room size. Nespresso machine had knock-off pods, which made disappointing coffee. The used pods were not replaced when our room was cleaned, so we did not have coffee for the 2nd morning we woke up there. Lobby is nice but the hallways and rooms are outdated. The same exact framed picture hung on multiple walls in the room.

This is an old historic hotel that has beautiful dining and bar architecture. The room we stayed in was on the top floor and nice and roomy with a well renovated bathroom and a view of the national forest and town square. The guest services is well done and courteous, but my only real complaint is the bar and dining staff, surprisingly it seems that they are disgruntled with frowns and would not come to the table. Plenty of bar tenders and we were able to overcome there lack of wait service by going directly to the bar, and I might add that the food was very good. Otherwise, it was good experience and would have given it a five star experience with better dining and bar service. I also might add that there was what I believe the wait staff manager that was very nice and working her tail off doing a lot of the work because the other waitresses were slow and not very productive.

Killarney Avenue is a great hotel. Excellent, Friendly staff with clean rooms. Parking was, as suggested, tight and we were able to secure a place both nights but could be a concern. Hotel and Rooms were both modern and clean. Food was excellent in both the Pub and the Restaurant. One night our room (#220) seemed to have a strong deep fryer smell coming into the bathroom vent. The restaurant was quite busy, front desk confirmed our concern and quickly was able to provide an alternate room for us, which was very much appreciated. Of note Room 220 did not have the odor the first night. It's not the issue, as issues can always arise, it is how the staff deal with a problem and we were very impressed with the extra effort to accommodate us.

Mark in the bar and dining area was amazing!! He has great suggestions for the area and great customer service. All the front desk agents were great as well with helping with parking and any needs that we had. Will definitely be staying here again.

When asked for a table for two host said another group had just arrived and could not seat us. When I asked for other options within walking distance and was told try the bar which was full. Left the hotel and walked a few hundred feet and asked a lady for options and was directed toward Main Street a few hundred feet more and found lots of options and had a wonderful dinner. Left me with the impression that the host would rather we not eat than go to another restaurant. A missed opportunity indeed.

It was lovely. Everyone was helpful and pleasant. The breakfast buffets had a lot of choices. The lunch or dinner meals were delicious. I told the the wait staff that what I liked about the food was that it was served hot on warm plates. That allowed me to enjoy my meal, take my time without it getting cold before I finished. I thought the prices were reasonable.
