The Dyafa Hotel and Spa is a lovely little property. I chose it for the pool, which was a refreshing positive on hot days. I never found the Spa or the fitness area so their title is a bit of a misnomer. On the positive side, my room, which overlooked the pool was quiet and spacious . The staff, especially those who serve breakfast on the rooftop, where guests have an outstanding view of the pyramids on the Giza Plateau, were outstanding remembering my likes and dislikes. The Housekeeping staff also deserve high marks. They were able to be quite flexible in their schedule and were happy to clean my room at my disposal as opposed to having to follow a rigid routine. The front desk staff were also helpful and always greeted me with a smile. The one negative was Management. They were not on par with the rest of the staff. As it turned out I lost an item and asked them to write a report and help with a police report that I needed to file an insurance claim. I was assured that they would help. Sadly, while promising to help with both, Management did not follow through despite my repeated requests. In the end they did nothing. If any improvements were to be made I would suggest that Management take lessons from their staff who were nothing but helpful. Because of Management's non-approach to my problem my overall experience was more negative than I would have given, resulting in a lower rating than the hotel deserves.

The rooftop is magnificent and the pool area relaxing. Beds are good, but pillows too large and firm for me. Internet was working one of my three day trip. There’s no public transportation for tourist near this hotel. Cabs. The street is noisy with cars, horses and camels. Staff were inattentive to details and as a solo traveler it was difficult to get the care provided to a couple or group.

Do not recommend!!! This property false adversities their amenities. Absolutely no WiFi or internet at this property. Stayed here for a week as I booked a luxury suite and was placed in a regular 3 bed small room. Breakfast was extremely horrible and same thing served everyday. I asked to cancel and return my money as I prepaid for the booking but the front desk staff seemed very clueless calling the owner on the phone every 2 minutes. Overall this was a horrible experience and will not return.
