Aloft by Marriott Mount Laurel

This is a very easy place to stay if you are visiting the city. It is clean and safe and parking is plentiful and free. There is no daily room cleaning but you can ask for it if needed. The pool was closed but my boys loved the pool table and games in the hip lobby. Everyone was very nice.

Common areas are terribly dirty. Pool is out-dated, unheated, and dirty. Parking lots are full of trash. Rooms aren’t cleaned or turned over daily, let alone throughout the entirety of your stay. WiFi network is unguarded. And, it’s prison rules for bath towels: need to visit the front desk attendant for clean towels. All that for $800 for 4 nights!

It was okay. The place was clean and the beds very comfortable but the pool was out of service and I booked because i wanted to use the pool for the weekend. I called a day before I arrive and they told me that everything with the pool was good. That's the only thing that i didn't like it. I couldn't use the pool.

It was a great experience all around! The ladies at the front desk were very nice! All the other guest at the bar and food areas seemed to be having a great time. It was clean and the rooms were beautiful.

Hallways and rooms were falling apart, piece of wood was hanging off ceiling and when I got into the room it looked like someone had laid in the bed. In the gym the defibrillator case had the glass broken and a piece of glass on the floor.

Very clean place, we had a great stay. Best part is there is a Millers Ale House right in front of the hotel! Dude at the front desk was kind of a weiner when checking in Saturday night, sarcastic as heck when all I asked was what floor my room was on. The following day, the lady at the front desk was super nice, watched my daughter while I went to get the car as it was pouring out. Pool was great, although there were no towels left on a Saturday night, still a good experience as I just ran up to my room and grabbed a towel. I will say, for a Saturday night, would be cool if the pool would stay open past 9pm. I would definitely stay there again.

Nicely decorated hotel in the lobby. Welcoming and friendly. There is a cigar area, pool table, a little store with snacks and a bar with a TV. Very cozy. My room om the 4th floor could have ad some art work. Looks like they were renovating so they get a pass. I liked the bathroom areas very different than most places. The sink is right at the front door. The room was spacious. Had alot of places to store belongings. It had a safe. I wish hotels would invest in a small thing of toothpaste with the complimentary shampoo, conditioner and bars of soap. Lol The hotel definitely needs some up keep. Hallways need paint rooms have some things I had to call downstairs to let them know It was broke b4 I got there. Lol im thinking when you book through a third party website they give you the rooms that need the most work. They should change that. Lol overall I would stay here again for the comfort and the see other room options.

Hotel is in a nice location with a couple of food options in the same parking lot and driveable to a number of others. The room was spacious and worked for our family. The carpets in the hallway are in need of a carpet cleaning as there were a number of small stains on them.

There was a sewer odor in the bathroom emanating from the drain I told front desk attendant who was very rude about it She did send maintenance up The gentleman arrived with a bucket of soapy water to pour down the drain and mentioned it is a frequent occurrence It helped for a few hours but smell returned

After staying in ALOFT in Ashville, NC (which was amazing), we were disappointed in the Mt. Laurel, NJ location. The carpets in the hallways were dirty - stained and also looked like they hadn’t been vaccumed. The rooms were clean but again, the carpets looked dirty. The front desk staff were friendly, but seemed like housekeeping staff may be lacking. For the price of the rooms, and the ALOFT name, I was expecting more. We had reserved a 2 BRQ room but when we arrived, they gave us a handicapped accessible room because no other queens were cleaned. We didn’t like taking the room from someone who may actually need the room.

The hotel and room were nice, my only issue was the loud music from the restaurant. Our room was on the 2nd floor right above and it was super loud.

The rooms were unique

The in room ac unit continued shutting off throughout the night. The controls on the unit did not work so I could not adjust to maintain on and keep room cool. It made my night of sleep very uncomfortable. Also the room had a very distinct musty smell although it was clean. I will not book again based on these items.

It was a fine place to stay and the on-site restaurants were surprisingly good. There is nothing going on in the area and no where to go for a walk. The rooms were a bit tired and bathrooms quirky (for example missing a place to hang towels and poor lighting in shower.

Love everything about this hotel! Everytime I come it gets better. I truly will only go to this hotel when I’m in Jersey. Room service delivered to your room quick, loveeeee the shower and the bed is comfy, late check out, the list goes on. 10/10

Great location but room didn’t have a microwave.

For the amount paid for a 2 night stay, find somewhere better. Every wall in our room, and almost every corner, the wallpaper was peeling off. Not a little, huge corners. The bathroom door is painted white on the back side, somebody left their dark grey paint peints all down one side of the door. Holes in the walls. Water stains everywhere. Wood furniture has huge chunks of wood missing. Very poor looking for what they're chargong and the brand they're supposed to be showcasing! Go elsewhere!

Everything was good but the toilet was having problems. The handle was getting stuck every time you flush.

While the hotel staff was excellent and the room was lovely, it was situated on the second floor, directly over the bar and overlooking the courtyard. For a single mom with a small child, this was challenging. When the AC wasn't running, you literally felt like you were at the bar. You could hear every conversation and utensil-drop. While my child was able to eventually fall asleep, I was unable to do so until after 3 am when everything closed up.

Very rude person at front desk with bad attitude and poor customer service skills

Dawn, Amani, and Ali made my trip wonderful. They were welcoming , helpful and fun. Answered all my questions.

The rooms are very nice and spacious. The location is perfect, right off the highway. There are many food options nearby even as close as next door on each side. Staff could use a little bit more training. Checking in shouldn’t be as difficult and no greetings when checking out

The clerk who checks you in too much attitude negative to be honest, she would be the reason I wouldn’t return no help with anything !

Overall this was a decent stay at a decent hotel. I've stayed at other Aloft Hotels and they were generally nicer. But overall no complaints on the condition of the hotel or the room. Some negatives: When we checked in, we were specifically asked if we wanted housekeeping every day. (No one explained that they typically do it every other day) I stated that, "Yes", I did want daily housekeeping. The next morning we left a little late, but while housekeeping was still in the hallway, only to return to an unmade room. I called the front desk to request clean towels and when the gentleman brought up the towels, he explained that housekeeping occurs every other day. I explained the conversation when we checked in and he assured me that we'd have housekeeping for the remainder of our stay. Next day... Same thing No housekeeping. Kind of disappointing. The other big complaint: Elevators REEKED of weed. Pros: - Conveniently located. - Overall condition was good. - Rooms were clean and well-featured - Front Desk Staff were friendly Cons: - Housekeeping NEVER came, despite being asked if we wanted daily housekeeping service (we stayed 3 nights). - Hotel app allows you to make requests for extra blankets, pillows, etc, however no one ever responded or fulfilled the requests. - Room doors do not have any dampers, and when allowed to close, they SLAM LOUDLY. A lot of door slamming throughout the night was not great. - Elevators absolutely STANK of weed.

Front desk was a bit aloof. Didn’t even look up when we walked in. She continued to do whatever she was doing on her screen for a while even as she asked for my id and credit card. Also the glass on the sliding door to the bathroom was cracked badly.

This hotel was great. We only stayed for one night but the front desk service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend!

Housekeeping not provided one day after specifically asking the front desk supervisor, Dawn, who confirmed that it would be done. Water pressure in shower inadequate and took a long time to rinse. Shower soap, shampoo and conditioner were never refilled and ran out. When we requested a late check out we were told it would cost $25 for one hour. On the other hand, we were very pleased with the evening desk staff, Jessica and Ollie. They were very pleasant and accommodating.

Aloft is always my choice number 1 . I love this Hotel very clean and modern. Location is perfect.

New but cheap, staff was great, area not at all walkable.

This was a one night business trip. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional and accommodating. Both at night when we arrived and in the morning, so it was no fluke. From the minute we walked in they politely informed us of where everything was, what time the bar closed and what time and where breakfast was. The barmaid (if we are still permitted to use that term) was wonderful, energetic, helpful and friendly. The staff in the morning could have been more pleasant. The hotel and the rooms were very clean, modern and welcoming. The location is good and I will stay there again.

Pros.It was a beautiful room and very clean the front desk lady was very helpful and very nice…The Cons is that they were doing construction work building a restaurant, it bothered are sleep, it was very frustrating to be able not get any sleep…

Loved that it was dog friendly, yet still nicely kept. We were the room directly above a very loud bar with a band. When I told front desk they offered to move us but said the band would stop at 10:00. We opted to stay put and sure enough the music ended on time. Gave a generous extension to our check out time too!
