Homewood Suites by Hilton Fairfield-Napa Valley Area

We previously stayed at this hotel, and we enjoy the amenities. The pool was under renovation, but we were allowed to use the pool at the neighboring hotel which was nice. The little basketball court was perfect for us to play with the kids. The hotel itself, however, was a bit run down, more than I remember. The paint on the bathroom ceiling was peeling, and the a/c in our room did not work (I called for someone to come look at it but no one showed so we just went to sleep. It was late and we were tired!). Breakfast was good and there was a variety of food for all tastes. Overall it was “OK” this visit. We will most likely stay at the neighboring hotel in the future.

I liked the room. It was really nice and clean. The breakfast was pretty good. The only thing is that I thought there was an indoor pool available which is why I booked this hotel. However it was under renovation so it wasnt available but the neighboring hotel had offered their pool. I was still a little disappointed. I would stay there again though because the room was nice.

Property was nice enough. Staff was sometimes friendly, sometimes indifferent. I was charged a parking fee that was totally unexpected. I didn't see the charge until I got back home. I won't stay at this property again.

Room was clean. Decent size for 1 person. No ice machine working on my floor. No hand soap in bathroom. Breakfast wasnt great.

Would rate higher, but the elevator was out, had to walk very long distances to get to the elevator in the back of the property and the ice machines were all shut down.

Nice stay near the wine country. 20-min to Napa. A few wineries in the area. Don't know why they have to charge $12 extra for parking, just an added fee. Breakfast was just enough to get your day started.

In general, the hotel is very good. The only detail was the pool that was not working and they did not have a hot tub.

Becca had great customer service but the main reason I booked the hotel was to swim and rest in the hot tub. Unfortunately is was under renovations and was closed. When the one reason you booked the hotel is taken away it is disaappointing. They were able to let us swim in the Staybridge hotel. Hopefully Travelocity can provide a reimbursement for the construction and no info on the website about pool closure. Very misleading!

The service and the room were nice. I gave 4 stars because the pool was broken and water was not clean and no hot tub. But they called next door hotel and allow us to use their pool and hot tub. That was very nice of them.

Only thing I didn’t like in this hotel was their elevator near our room was broken and they can’t provide extra towels and pillows and our room did not have any phone.

It was clean and staff were very nice.

My room was dirty, towels unclean, several scratches and stains on wall and floor.

It was good but there were ants in our room in the morning.

Staff was awesome! Room waS a bit dusty and a piece of the cabinetry had fallen off.

This property was very nice, I stayed there for seven days and I had my three kids and spouse and it was perfect place was quiet, clean and front desk was very nice and super friendly and housekeeping staff super polite and nice also, having breakfast included was a plus and overall enjoyed the hotel and we would sfsy there again if it comes to it again very pleased.

The hotel was easy to find and parking was plentiful. The staff who assisted me during my stay were very professional and courteous. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable due to excellent air conditioner function. The bathroom and shower were clean and I enjoyed a long hot shower .

This hotel is outdated and the drapes need to be replaced in the room I was given. The stains gave me an unpleasant feeling that it has blood stains.

We truly love the hotel but our sofa bed was awful and broken, very uncomfortable to sleep on

The property feels very dated and depressing. The vanity outside the shower/toilet area was the brightest and most modern of the entire room. Carpet, lighting and tile work in bathroom should be updated.

The family suite we used was very nice, the pull out couch unfortunately was incredibly uncomfortable..I know that kiddos usually use the pull out but when a 10 year old complains about back pain in the morning there’s an issue..should definitely be replaced, we tried pushing the bed back in but it was broken. It wouldn’t go back in.

Spacious, well-appointed suite. Kitchen with full size refrigerator. I could have easily stayed here much longer and made my own meals! Quiet and clean property. The only knock is the door didn’t close by itself all the way, so I just had to make sure I closed it completely .

Good location. Outdated. Noisy, you could hear people “talking” from the room next to us…

Check in was quick and easy. I booked 2 rooms and 1 of the rooms had no AC and the sink was leaking every time we would turn it on. We informed the staff that our room had no AC, to which they then told us they were already informed that some of the rooms had AC problems. So if they knew already, why didn't they tell us in advanced? It was in the 90's the day we stayed & I think that's something to tell guests considering the windows don't open as well. Staff did not accommodate at all

Spacious room

Loved the room. V complete mini-kitchen with dishwasher, utensils. Full-sized fridge and freezer, with ice-maker. Excellent location for Napa.

It wasn't bad per se, but it wasn't off to a great start when we found people already staying in a room I had booked ahead of time. A member of the staff had apparently forgotten to input in the system that they had checked in a couple and their baby into that room already. The front desk agent who helped sort this out went above and beyond and got us a new room.

We had a mix up with our reservation and the GM was amazing and helped get us a room. She was so kind and first class. The breakfast is delicious and the staff was on top of keeping everything full. Best Biscuits!

The staff especially Kristine and Lynne were Excellent and friendly. They displayed what customer service and care should be about. They went the extra mile to make our visit fun. This is an amazing location if you’re visiting Napa and Sacramento. I will definitely stay at this location again.

Upon arrival to the end, front desk was super nice. Made sure we were ok and extended help if needed. Felt like family. Breakfast was good! Staff was excellent. Room maids could not understand us and therefore our rooms were not made for days.

I reserved my room through Expedia and it was my first and LAST time ever wanting to reserve with this company again. I had paid for a suite with two bedrooms with 1 king and 2 queen beds and kitchen (2 separate rooms). That is not what I got. I unfortunately got a suite with one bedroom with 2 only queens. I have 3 children and my boyfriend. Right after I made that reservation I had even called this properly to clarify what I paid for and that is exactly what I was supposed to get but didn’t. Come to find out, someone supposedly a manager had messed up and gave someone else my room. It also happened to another family that just arrived after us. It’s Thanksgiving and everywhere else is booked so now I am forced to stay in an overpriced room that I wish I never came across this property. I tried looking up other places and there is nothing because it is a holiday. A holiday you and your team ruined for me and my family. I would hope to receive a full refund for this huge inconvenience. I am so unhappy with this property. I will never come back.

Room was clean & comfy. Breakfast was sub par. Service was sad. We waited more than 20 minutes for someone to come to the desk & check us in. The breakfast gal was less than friendly.

The staff made our stay here so comfortable and lovely. Each interaction we had, they were so kind and quick to be hospitable. Their service was a breath of fresh air.

Then the pool was out of service, which was the main reason we booked this one. Breakfast was terrible—“sausage” and eggs seemed freeze dried and other options were minimal. Overall, property feels outdated and lacking for the Hilton brand.

I have stayed at other Homewood Suites but this by far is the WORST. I specifically asked not to be at the lower level and in an accessible room. When we arrived, we were placed in the lower floor and in accessible room. The general manager Tamara Jones informed us that they were completely booked and the only other room that was a one-bedroom suite on the upper floors was not available because the AC was not working. Ms. Jones had an attitude with me. Perhaps, she was upset because I interrupted her from babysitting her 4 year old granddaughter. When we arrived to our suite, the suite was hot. We were told that the AC was turned off but should be working. After 4 hours, the room was 85 degrees. When we informed the front desk (by the way our suite had no phone) that our room was hot, the front receptionist told us that he can't do anything. Our options were either sleep in a hot room or sleep in our car. We were forced to sleep with the windows open and hear all of the outside noise (people talking, cars, dogs barking, freeway noise, slamming of front door, etc) and waking up by 5:30 AM since the sun was hitting our bedroom window. The next day, we were moved to a different one bedroom suite. Our suite was next to a suite who has 2 big dogs. The dogs barked all night and early morning. Obviously, we could not do anything since the people occupying that suite were gone. We will never stay at this location.

We are upset staying in this property the tv wasn’t working. I called the front dest and never answered the call then we went yo the front dest told the guy and nothing happened. The next morning we told the lady that was working and she was going to tell the maintenance to go check it out but was never fixed !!!!!

Second stayed at this property. Love Suisun valley, Larry’s produce. Easy excess to Napa valley and Russian river to korbel champagne maker.

I was only in this property for one night. Easy to find, very near to where I needed to be in Suisun City and close to a nice hiking trail at Rockville Hills Regional Park for a quick evening run. Clean, comfortable, everything functioned well and plenty of room in my room.

The hotel was nice and clean. The suite was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the fact that it was convenient to all our activities with family and friends. I would recommend staying here if youre visiting the Napa area.

This is our second time here and will probably be our go to hotel now whenever we go drive to Napa Valley. Hotel is very pleasant, clean and organize. They offer good variety options for breakfast. They also offer coffee, hot chocolate and warm chocolate chip cookies by the entrance. Will recommend!

Friday late afternoon male desk staff was snarky. The Hotel is well warn and walls furniture beat up. The room furniture is awkward - the chairs too short for the tables, the TV’s are so old and small - no streaming just Direct TV. We had 3 TVs and 3 different remotes - crazy! Patio area is dirty and patio furniture all warn and stained. No ice in the unit, nice day clerk ran next door and got us some before our room refrigerator started making ice. Breakfast is the normal basics but the help stops replenishing the hot food about an hour before it closes, so slim pickings. Also, they don’t wipe down the tables more interested in being on their phones. The outside area is just as tired as the inside so first impressions were not great. We stayed 5 nights in a ground floor 2 bedroom/2bath suite. Positives: the beds and pillows were very comfy and looked/smelled clean. I met the lady doing the laundry and give her high kiddos as the white towels looked and smelled great!!

The overall stay was good. I was just very disappointed about it not including breakfast. At 9:15 AM we were told that they ran out of breakfast and there was no food. I had three reservations, including myself that was starving and highly disappointed to no fault of the staff and the facility. The staff was gracious and apologetic. The facility was good. Need to improve the budget for breakfast!

Everyone was very friendly, kind and respectful just would’ve liked to have more options for breakfast, but other than that everything was amazing

The room was fine and clean. My only criticism regards the pool -- no towels and the breakfast -- very little food. Also the dining room tables were not cleaned well. The coffee should be a bit stronger too!!

This property is soooooooooooooooooo nice! I called ahead to see if we could check in early and the person that answered the phone was so polite and professional (which is unheard of these days) She displayed the same politeness and professionalism when I arrived. I mentioned how nice the hotel smelled and she informed me that Hilton has it's own scents for it's properties :) Check in was easy. Our room..... we got a two bedroom suite and it was beautiful with high ceilings and fans. As well as independent hvac systems per area. Their beds and pillows were the best! I want to buy a pillow! Breakfast was really good - actual real food - not wet powdered eggs that you usually get at hotels for breakfast. As we were leaving we were in the car pulling away and we heard someone yell - we looked and it was the housekeeper holding my purse that I had left on the side of the bed!!!! She saw it and immediately ran out after us to return it!!!! Not only is this hotel first class, but their employees are first class! We would definitely stay here again and I will always recommend this property!
