All the staff l encountered was willing to assist with any question or concern l had. The pool is still not open but they offered shuttle to another property. There is some cosmetics and structure repairs that are needed. Once that is done they will be good to go.

This is a very dated hotel, with VERY few amenities, no USB outlets or enough power outlets for charging multiple electronics. The pool was under construction right in the middle of a heat wave & we received no notification prior to arrival. I would have booked another hotel. The breakfast buffet is very expensive.

⭐️⭐️ 2-Star Review — Disappointed by Pool Closure and Shower Issues I booked the Westshore Tribute Portfolio Marriott in Tampa primarily because I was flying out the next day and wanted to relax by the pool without having to leave the hotel. Unfortunately, the pool was under maintenance — and there was no notice of this online during booking. That alone was a major disappointment, as it was the main reason I chose this location. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere. Upon arrival, the room looked fine at first glance. However, once I went to shower, I realized the drain was clogged — leaving me standing in a pool of murky water and hair. That’s not something I ever deal with at home, and it really grossed me out. The bathrooms are also a bit dated, which didn’t help. While I appreciated the complimentary parking, airport shuttle, and a late checkout (noon is great), the constant knocking from housekeeping between 9 AM and 11 AM was frustrating — especially since it wasn’t even for me. Someone kept knocking to ask if I ordered water… which I hadn’t. The location is more residential and not close to downtown attractions like the Riverwalk, convention center, or cruise port. You’ll need a car or ride share to get around — it’s about a 5-mile drive. There is a shopping mall across the street and a Publix nearby.

I like the proximity to the airport, free parking, airport shuttle and budget-friendly dining. Only thing that made me crazy was the parking was around the corner and down the block, with no apparent elevator and it’s a huge pain to lug everything in the Florida heat.

Hotel staff was amazing and hotel is very nice. Not happy that the pool is not available for use. Itt was the main reason we booked the hotel. We were informed by the hotel it was closed the day before travel which was too late to fund another hotel

This was my first booking with this hotel and staying in tampa. The lady who checked me in had terrible energy. Didnt talk or even say hey just give me your id after i said i had a check in. Her body language spoke very loud and i just felt awkward. The room was nice but my shower didnt work. When checking out i made sure to go to a different lady at the front desk a older lady. She helped me with a smile and offered a small refund for the inconvenience. The bar in the lobby was amazing and eva the bartender was awesome. Definitely like to come back.

The property was nice however, my room was not. They did not give me any garbage bags in the baskets. The toilet did not flush well. The bathroom spelled of urine, the beds were very uncomfortable. All night you heard a banging sound coming from the vents. The air-conditioning barley worked and the draws did not close.

Stayed for one night, room was very clean and beds/pillows really comfortable. The common areas were immaculate. We didn’t mind at all that there were offices opposite us, we had our curtains open a few inches for the short time we spent in the room during the day. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly at reception, the bar, the breakfast buffet (which was delicious and plentiful) and the cafe. Great location for the airport and self parking garage is very convenient.

Place was very very nice. It was close to every where I needed to go. I did rent a car.. only complaint was it needed better lighting in the room. Being a women and doing my hair and makeup I need a lot of light.. the bed was hard BUT the pillows were soooo comfortable I forgot to take a picture of the tag because I want to buy some. And I wish the bar was open earlier. Your on vacation a nice mimosa would be nice

Having a free parking garage was great! The hallways had a wonderful clean smell. But there were several issues worth mentioning. The room was very dark. Poor lighting. The shower didn’t drain well so you were essentially taking a bath by the end of the shower. The toilet also didn’t flush well. The TV only got 1 local Channel. When I mentioned it to the front desk staff he seemed bothered by me & offered to send someone up the next day if I insisted. Lastly, the fitness center didn’t have a water fountain and it was rather warm inside there. I stayed at this hotel one year ago & it is starting to show its age.

Hotel is very outdated. Clogged sink, toilet looked like it wanted to overflow maybe it had something to do with the sink. Mini fridge did not work, outdated furniture don't put your clothing in the drawers it will smell like old musty furniture. I could go on and on. Short stays are okay but for a long stay look for other options in Tampa. Staff was very helpful and kind.

Very nice hotel. Rooms need updated. Had issue with slow drain in sink and very slow drain in shower. I reported the issue after the first night, but it was never resolved. I dreaded taking showers there and standing in water the rest of my stay.

My stay was horrible. I was told when I got to the airport that the shuttle would pick me up. The shuttle did not come for over an hour and a half me and other customers were out there waiting and very upset. The room was not up to par. The body wash and other things have not been refilled in the room. I called the front desk and asked for a wake up. Call that I never received. I needed assistance so I went to the front desk around 12 AM and the front desk receptionist was completely sleeping even snoring and did not hear me as I was asking him for help. I have pictures and all it’s terrible. I probably would never go back to Tampa again. This was my first trip there and it was one of my worst. I wish I could get a refund of my stay here because it was definitely a horrible experience. I’m definitely putting my review in the pictures online as soon as tomorrow.

Jasmine made sure we are picked up by airport shuttle. Greeted us warmly and professionally. Top notch customer service from this young lady. Will definitely return to this hotel when we come to Tampa. Bar restaurant had excellent service and food was fantastic.

I arrived at the property with my wife and 2month old son. I called ahead and was told there would be a crib upon arrival. It wasn’t. I went down to the front desk and spoke to Michael who informed the crib would be taken shortly to my room. It wasn’t. I called from my room around 45minutes later and inquired about the crib. I was told by the front desk they would call me back. They didn’t. I called again and was told that housekeeping was gone for the night and that it was impossible to get a crib. I was assured that the manager would get in touch with me the following morning and I would get a crin up to the room. Neither of these two things happened either. I ended up buying a crib at Walmart. Extremely disappointed with the service and the lack of sensibility.

Clean property with a lot of amenities. I would say my only complaint was the airport shuttle service. It’s not listed very well on their properties page. When you land you must call the property to inform them to pick you up. When I used this service I waited an hour for a ride because the normal shuttle was being serviced and they were using an unmarked minivan. Other than that the property and staff were great once I got there.

We tried to check in early but our room wasn’t available yet. By time the Savannah Banana game was done it was late (10:30pm). We grabbed our bags and gave the car & keys to the valet and headed into the lobby area. We waited approximately 20 minutes while the young clerk was on the phone w another client. There was already another guest ahead of us that was still waiting for washcloths etc for over 1/2 hr he said. My BF went to find someone to assist and found that person in the bar area. Come to find out the 2nd front desk clerk was in the back the entire time. There should be someway of notifying them that extra assistance is needed instead of having us wait for this extended period of time. Once it was our turn check I was quick and we were inniur room before we knew it.

Great location - a few supermarkets close by and dining options within walking distance. We stayed here after a cruise, so arrived at 8.30am and when we asked if we could store our luggage, we were told that our room was actually ready for us which was a bonus. We walked to the international shopping plaza - was about 30 mins each way! Shuttle to airport easy to use, ran every 30 mins!

This hotel is very nice but it is in a busy area so not very quiet. I still slept great on the medium soft mattress. The room was clean and had plenty of room. There were boutique soaps and lotion in the bathroom. I want to give a shout out to the woman who checked me in and offered to walk me to my car to move it to the appropriate parking area. She was so helpful and kind.
