Regarding a missing item during my recent stay from April 24 to April 26, 2026. I discovered that my tan leather Kate Spade sling bag went missing from my room. I last saw the bag on the hook rack on April 24. I noticed it was missing on the evening of April 25 and confirmed it was gone on the morning of April 26 when I needed it to hold my passports. I reported this incident to the front desk prior to my checkout on April 26, but I have not yet received an update. While I was cautioned about safety on the streets of Barcelona, I did not expect an item to go missing from within my hotel room. :(

This hotel was a little off the beaten path of tourists, but was easily accessible. It is just two metro stops from Sagrada Familia and had several grocery stores nearby. The room was nice. The reception area is just a desk in the hallway. It was opposite our room door, so one night we got to hear another guest argue about being locked out of his room. Other than that, it was very quiet, clean, and safe. They did have luggage lockers to use after check out. One thing to note- the shower has a glass block wall between it and the bedroom. It was more revealing than we (US) were used to.

A hospedagem, no geral, teve pontos positivos e negativos. O quarto tem um bom tamanho, os lençóis são novos e de boa qualidade, e o banheiro é moderno, organizado e aparentemente recém-reformado. O chuveiro é excelente, com água forte, e as toalhas também são boas. Por outro lado, tivemos um problema sério com o sistema de climatização do hotel. O ar-condicionado é central e, segundo a recepção, funciona de forma sazonal: ou apenas aquecimento (no inverno) ou apenas resfriamento (no verão). Como estávamos no inverno, somente o aquecimento estava ativo. O grande problema é que o quarto ficou extremamente abafado e quente, já que não tínhamos controle da temperatura — apenas o aquecedor estava em operação e a ventilação do local não funcionava adequadamente. As janelas praticamente não abrem (apenas alguns centímetros), o que impedia a circulação de ar. Como o sistema de resfriamento não podia ser ativado, a primeira noite foi muito desconfortável e praticamente não conseguimos dormir. Solicitamos um ventilador já na primeira noite, justamente porque o ambiente estava insuportável, mas o hotel só conseguiu disponibilizar um na segunda noite. A partir daí, a situação melhorou. Esse é um ponto importante para futuros hóspedes: o conforto térmico do quarto depende totalmente do sistema central do hotel e pode se tornar um problema, principalmente quando não há possibilidade real de ventilação natural.
