Cheap rates, good place to stay for a cheap room. Beds mediocre, but cheap rates. Staff took forever to find my reservation and couldn't see that I had booked there rooms. It literally took about 45 minutes to check in. Staff is nice but have problems navigating the computers. You have to take out your own trash, no one will make your bed, you have to go to the front desk to exchange your linens, or get towel for the pool, and the pool is in poor condition. (I build pools for a living) However cheap rates and clean.

The room was spacious, decent breakfast. They were doing some restyling, highly needed. The hot tub didn’t work, but our impression is that it has been out of order for a while, no fixing.

We had 2 rooms booked . One of our original rooms the AC unit did not work and eventually shut down in the middle of the night. Room switch the next morning. That room didn’t have a tub stopper so couldn’t take a shower. Hot tub is broken and no real selection on breakfast. Just cereal, toast and waffle maker. One milk choice.

We chose this hotel because pool and hot tub were advertised, but neither was heated. They are clean though. The room is clean but not the wood floors or modern layout in the pictures. They are doing a lot of renovation though. Location was amazing. Across the street from the royal gorge train.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, The hot tub was not useable the pool was in bad shape, and the pillows were very small. The breakfast was out of everything consisted of 1 toast, 2 cereals and 1 waffle machine.

It was very cluttered and dirty. There was beds, coffee tables and other random furniture around the outside and a storage container blocking up parking so prepare for no parking or tight parking, if you get there at the wrong time. Unlike every hotel I have been to, the doors all say exit only so you have to come through the front door every time past so many people and dogs (that aren't friendly) hanging out out front. If there was more access to the doors you could avoid other dogs and people. I have never been to hotel that only had bread and waffles for breakfast and had so many signs telling you what to do. The front dest staff was friendly, so you know they did not make the signs. There is no microwaves in the rooms so after you are disappointed with breakfast you have no access to make anything in your room. The fridge and tv, internet was okay and I didn't feel unsafe. Just was disappointed how dirty the tub was for having children that needed it and the water did not drain. Also spotted serval huge roaches in the hallways but not our rooms. This really could be a special place since it is so close to the park and river, but it has seen better days and needs a renovation.

Booked because had hot tub that was down for repair. No elevator and rooms on bottom floor all previously had pets. We knew it was you get what you pay for, but knowing what I know now I wouldn’t book with them again.

We called two days before checking in to make sure the hot tub and pool were working and were told they were. We got there and were told the hot tub was out of order and the heater was broken in the pool. We tried to get in the pool, but within less than a minute, our lips turned blue cause it was so cold. We pulled the blankets back on the bed and there were brown stains on the white sheets. We went in the bathroom and the toilet wasn’t clean and there were dead bugs under the counter. The fridge barely worked so we had to put our cold stuff in a bucket of ice in the fridge. We were able to get extra linens unless we brought our dirty linens down to the front desk every day to exchange them, which was inconvenient. The continental breakfast was a joke. It was cereal, toast, milk, coffee, and one waffle maker. There was no fruit or yogurt, eggs, or breakfast meats, juice, etc. Whatever detergent they use on their linens, gave us both horrible itchy red rash all our bodies. Would definitely not stay here again.

My previous stays at Days Inn by Wyndham locations were positive, which makes this experience at this specific property so much more disappointing. Unfortunately, it was unacceptable. Unclean Room: The room was visibly not clean. Most disturbingly, the bathroom had a strong, pervasive smell of urine, as if someone had urinated all over the floor or fixtures. It was extremely off-putting and made using the bathroom unpleasant. Additionally, there was hair scattered around the room, which is basic cleanliness failure. "Breakfast" Was a Joke: Advertised breakfast is a key amenity. What was offered here – essentially just cereal and waffles – was completely inadequate and barely qualifies. Don't expect anything substantial. Overall: This stay fell far below the standard I expect from the Days Inn by Wyndham brand. The lack of basic cleanliness, especially the revolting bathroom smell, combined with the non-existent breakfast, made for a very poor experience. I will not be returning to this specific location and would caution others to look elsewhere unless significant improvements are made.

The bathroom floor was sticky, the hairdryer was falling off the wall, and it would have been nice to have more than two pillows for the bed. Housekeeping would have noticed the pillows, had they come into the room. During my week long stay, they didn’t come into the room, not even to change out the towels.

Room literally smelled like cat piss. Property was gross with buckets of cigarettes butts. The people weren’t very friendly and the bathroom had piss stains near toilet and dirt and debris behind bathroom faucet. Shower curtain smelled like absolute garbage. It was not clean at all, the " Acting Mgr" was very Rude to my wife when she asked for Clean towels, door handles were broken, no clean bathroom, no clean sheets on the bed, lots of sand and dirt all over the floor.

The bathroom had lots of long dark hair on the floor, so it probably wasn't vacuumed. And, there were used socks in the bed between the sheets. So, what? They didn't change the sheets? Disgusting. Also, when I told them about the problems, the desk clerk gave NO response. Really?

We stayed in a handicap room (not requested) and it was spacious. The water was warm at best for the tub and shower. We were ankle deep with water as the drain was slow. You could hear other guests clearly in the hall and inside our room. The bed was a rock (very uncomfortable). Watching tv was hit or miss.There was no dog area either. We really liked the check in person. His name is Oni and was very friendly.

King size bed super comfy. Jetted hot tub in room was awesome. The shower had long lasting hot water and perfect pressure. The sofa pull out couch bed was not sleep worthy or sit worthy. Every spring in that mattress was felt. There was a fridge, microwave, and little coffee maker and all functioned properly. There's no elevator, only stairs. Staff was very accommodating. Check in was smoother than any other place I've stayed. Overall we had a nice stay.

Bare bones hotel. No usb ports or charging stations in the room you will need a wall plug in charger. Breakfast is only cereal, toast, and waffles. Staff were friendly but guarded towels l like they were gold. Room was clean and quiet but not updated.

Checking in is always a breeze. The staff are kind and helpful. He will explain all amenities during this time. I like the double bed rooms for the same price as a king, but the feel is more spacious. It’s Cañon city so there’s not much to expect anyways. The rooms always have an odd smell but it seems each one has a mini fridge and microwave for use. The bathroom is always sparkly clean, which is a huge plus. The pillows are the absolute worst, so degraded and visibly used; i don’t even use them. I pulled the sheets back one visit and there was a large stain, since then i bring my own blankets to cover and sleep on top. I do enjoy my stay here, free breakfast and a generally quiet location.

My wife and I stayed here for a funeral service and were not too impressed. This was was wore out. Rough looking carpet, paper thin blankets, dated fixtures, only one TV channel, coffee maker smelled, and shower curtain smelled musty. Our mountain view was cut off by a big concrete building. Breakfast was two kinds off cereal, waffles, and pieces of white bread. That's all. No juice, no fruit, no bagels or pastries. To top off our trip I accidentally left my $200 Benchmade pocket knife in our room. I called back several times and they were never able to find where my knife went.

I booked this hotel because I was going to the Royal gorge train station with my 6-year-old daughter for a Santa ride. It was literally across the street. The location could not have been better. We had an excellent experience here. When we went to our room on the first floor and set our bags down and sat for a second, we realized our neighbors were very very noisy. I went to the front desk and he immediately moved us upstairs to a quiet room. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back
I booked this hotel because I was going to the Royal gorge train station with my 6-year-old daughter for a Santa ride. It was literally across the street. The location could not have been better. There was a lot that I didn't like. The front desk lady was rude, not very friendly. There was a group of guys having a party in the hall till 1am. The parking lot is very small. The breakfast options are a joke.

The property had signs up needing to tell their employees to clean their rooms. The front desk person didnt know how to do the reservation with the computer and tried to charge me again for the room. They didnt care that i paid for the room and sent me away unless i would pay again until expedia called. It took over 30min for a resolution at 12am when the purpose of a late night hotel room is a quick stop for sleep to continue the trip (for me at least). The picture of the building doesnt even match the building i pulled up to at the address provided.

Great location half a block from downtown and across from the Royal Gorge Train. The front desk staff took the extra step to call me and let me know I left my phone charger in the room. Great customer service. They can get you a 10% discount on the train. It was also a great price at $65.

It took 30 mins for the front counter guy to find my reservation and check me in. It felt like the guy didn’t even work there. The facility felt almost run down and not worth the amount they are charging. Hallway siding just laying on the ground.

The location was great! Had the river near by with a nice hiking path. Lots of things to do nearby. The pillows on the bed were half size. Should have normal size pillows. Also the easy chair in the room needs replaced. It was old and dirty from people’s hands.

The room was neat, but the bed weirdly sloped a bit, so I just slept diagonally on it and it was comfortable. The room had a fridge and microwave, and it has a pool ! And it was just one block off of Main St for dining and shopping. It’s right across the street from the Riverwalk too. And it was quiet. Great room for a great price.

This hotel sets at the far end of town near the Royal Gorge. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they moved us to a different room as the lock on our door was broke.

We chose this hotel because pool and hot tub were advertised, but neither was heated. They are clean though. The room is clean but not the wood floors or modern layout in the pictures. They are doing a lot of renovation though. Location was amazing. Across the street from the royal gorge train.

For the most part, we had a pleasant stay at Days Inn in Canon City. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. We were warmly greeted. The facility is undergoing some renovation, which meant there were stacks of boxes and materials in the lobby area. At 8:30 am we went for breakfast and found only cold cereal and white bread available. I think we could have made a waffle but didn't try that. There was no juice, fruit or any kind of protein. Since I always select a place to stay that offers breakfast, I was disappointed.

Staff was great, hotel was old and rundown. Pets on first floor, no elevator stairs to second floor. Calling it breakfast was ridiculous. Coffee but no lid for the cups so I couldn't even get a cup to go. Best I can say was it did seem clean.

Austin Parmley, the bad cleaning comfortable rooms were clean. Air conditioning worked OKNothing worked. TV remotes were not the right ones for the TV. Doors would get jammed, keys would not work.
