Hilton Garden Inn Albany Airport

Decent place to stay after airline flight was cancelled. They sent the shuttle right away when I called. Room was clean. The gym equipment was limited and old. Pool small and ok. Staff were friendly and responsive.

Convenience and the airport shuttle was always accommodating

I checked in at night and there were no parking spaces in the front of the hotel so I had to go in the back. It was isolated, dark, scary & unsafe for a single woman. There should be better lighting & better access to an entrance in the back!

We choose to stay there because it was the only facility with a bar and restaurant. However the restaurant has a limited menu of five or six items and the breakfast is not included. You can pay 10.00$ for the continental breakfast but it is not worth the 10.00$. You can however order to be cooked breakfast for around 15.00$ a plate.

Hard to find sign is buried in the trees. Elevator rug is disgusting. Bathroom in the room smelled refrigerator is not working properly cause it’s cake with ice

It had snowed and they didn't clear the parking lot or outdoor walkways enough. People were having trouble finding safe spaces to walk

I enjoyed being right by the airport and having the service of the airport shuttle to help with transportation to and from it. One less worry while on my trip

Quality hotel with a very dependable 24hr airport shuttle. Restaurant has a small menu, but what they serve is of good quality.

The hotel grounds were a bit over grown and the fitness room is too small. Also no towels (no room for stretching) or cleaning wipes. Otherwise very nice

The check in process was fine. The room was spotless. A couple of small things: the refillable shampoo in the shower was very empty (which I didn’t discover until I was in the shower), and the only blinds that closed all the way were shear so that privacy was lacking. Also, the website is misleading. There is no restaurant or room service.

front desk seemed like they had no idea what they were doing. rooms were dirty. I could not beleive this was a Hilton hotel.

I liked the access to the malls nearby. The rooms were dirty, we found a candy wrapper in our bed so it seemed like the sheets weren’t even changed. There was also trash under our beds. It felt as though I would be cleaner keeping my shoes on then taking them off.

Filthy dirty. Vent in bathroom covered with dust and dirt. Carpet outside elevator looked like someone had vomited and it t wasn’t cleaned up well. As we were leaving room, water was shut off with no notice.

Carpets were super dirty - stained furniture - tubs were stained - mold in tubs - parking lots were pitch dark - no keyed entry to facility doors wide open Staff was great and accommodating

There was black mold all over my bathroom shower!!! The tub has a slimey film!!

Elevators and hallways not cleaned. First assigned room smelled of smoke. Second room had fresh stain on carpet, not well vacuumed.

My room had large dirty stains on the carpet and couch. When i turned the faucet on brown water came out.

The bathtub was not clean. There was stuff on the walls. The body wash container was empty. The coffee pot did not make HOT coffee, it did not heat the cold water i put in it! A prior guest spilled coffee all over The tip of the cabinet and it was not Cleaned up. Someone just put the 2 trays down and left it!

The room showed its age. The sheer drapes offered no privacy and allowed the bright parking lot lights to shine right on the head of the bed. There is no restaurant and the morning I checked out, the continental breakfast was very sparse. The staff is great as is the proximity to the airport with a 24 hour shuttle is convenient.

Good location near the Albany International Goods and clean rooms. Some noise from room next door pass through the walls I can hear the other guests speaking and chatting very late night.

The most dated worn down Hilton garden inn I have ever been in. Kinda gross but it served its purpose.

Positively, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was very close to the airport. The downfalls were that room 201 was a super noisy room. While at the end of the hall, it was over the pool area and the room would literally vibrate for hours at a time, with 10 second brekas

Thr room was clean, the bed comfortable. The problem is that the room is dark. There is not enough lighting.

The mattresses were lumpy and they squeaked. The room was poorly lit.

I couldn’t believe how rude and unaccommodating the front desk staff was. The worst customer service I’ve experienced.

Staff was so helpful. My son lost some toys and the maintenance went to a lot of trouble getting them out of the back of the nightstand. We always stay in one of the rooms to celebrate Christmas because the accomodations make it very easy to do so. The rooms are big and decorated nicely. Everything is always clean and stocked so I never end up asking for anything at the desk. Guests did keep luggage carts when I was checking out but the young lady at the desk alerted me when one was available. Everyone gave their best effort on an eventful checkout and I'm grateful. 👍

Front staff were fantastic, super friendly and helpful! Easy check in.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn. The associates are always friendly and helpful and it is always clean. I like to take the shuttle to and from the airport.The shuttle gets me to the airport on time and the drivers are very nice.. Will stay here again when visiting family and friends in Albany

Staff was inefficient and rude.

Waited for 45 minutes for the shuttle after dropping my car at the airport to stay at this Hilton Garden overnight for an early flight. Called again and was told, "sorry. He's sitting right here. I don't know why he didn't pick you up. I'll send him now." 15 minutes later the shuttle arrived. Fortunately for me the traffic folks at the airport graciously told me to wait inside and that they'd let me know when the shuttle arrived so I wasn't standing outside in single digit degrees. Upon checking in there was no one at the desk. I did see a person smoking outside within clear view of the front desk but assumed it was a guest. 5 minutes later she finished her smoke and reeking of smoke then told me in barely understandable english that she was sorry for the wait. Checked me in, booked me on the 4AM shuttle and up to my room I went. The hallway carpet should have been replaced years ago. There were cardboard boxes laying about in the hallway near the staff door. The room itself was clean, much to my relief. I'd specifically booked this hotel because it had a restaurant. When I went downstairs the barmaid told me that the restaurant was closed that night so I ordered from a greek delivery that was excellent and ate in my room. I could hear the guests in the room above stomping about and the staff talking loudly to one another in Vietnamese in the hallway through my door. Fortunately by 9 the sounds abated so I was able to get a few hours of shut eye before my 20 hour travel day

Common areas (elevator, hallways, etc.) Need to be vacuumed and shampooed. Front desk staff need to be less engaged with their phones and more engaged with clients. Room on 2nd floor was very noisy.

I chose an airport hotel since my flight landed at midnight. I prefer Hilton, but this was disappointing. After landing and collecting luggage, I called the hotel for shuttle service and was told the shuttle was just there and she would send it back. The driver arrived and asked how many times I'd called. I replied once and he proceeded to wait for other guests. I guess the clerk assumed I was the guest that originally called and missed the shuttle. Received confirmation of online checkin and digital key request but key never arrived so I had to stop at the front desk. The night desk clerk was rudely trying to assist airline employees as there was no reservation found for them. She did not greet me, just asked for name. She was using the radio to talk with another employee when another guest showed up saying her key wasn't working. The clerk says none of these keys are working as she hands me my key. When I started to confirm, she responded to the radio employee as I suppose she was talking about the previous guest. I took my key and headed to the room. Thankfully my key worked.

We have stayed at this hotel for the past 10 years and this time the experience was sub par. The corridors and the elevaror were very dirty, The bathroom had issues - the sink drain was broken. Breakfast was also disappointing. The server was very attentive, however when she brought out the food it was cold and not tasty. The scrambled eggs did not taste good and the omelette was also not great. The sausage, bacon and potatoes were cold.

I paid extra for the breakfast and it was pitiful. One day, it wasn’t even offered and I was not refunded for it.

restaurant food and speed of service left a lot to be desired. Hotel otherwise is great. Dinner though showed up at 7:05...took till 7:20 to get a menu, 7:30 to get a drink and by 7:55 meal finally arrived!

Clean and comfy rooms. Negative was prepaid for breakfast and was told it started at 7am. We pre planned and got up early to eat right at 7 and hit the road. Nothing was there when we got up. When we asked front desk, she said they were delayed and would be starting only at 7:30. Unfortunately we were on a time crunch. They didn’t even offer something to go. When I asked to be reimbursed, the front desk told us she could only leave a message for the manager.
