The front desk lady on Friday evening 5/8 was great. She was friendly and accommodating. The lady on duty Sat 5/09 morning was the opposite, cold, impersonal and rude. The accommodations were simple but warm and the location was perfect.

Honestly, it was just okay. Based on the previous reviews, I guess expected better. There was nobody hardly ever at the front desk, no coffee pot in the lobby area which would be nice considering the one in the room was very small. Plus, not sure when it was cleaned last. There was a place to wash off feet when coming from the beach but we couldn’t get the water to turn on. The pool wasn’t open yet. There was no stopper for the tub. There’s a lot of damage in the area from Hurricane Erin last year. Not sure we would stay here again, The lighthouse is currently being renovated and if we had been aware of that we might have drove that far into the island. Climbing up to the watchtower was cool. Memories were made though and it wasn’t all bad.
