Gorgeous property and location. Nice rooms but missing fundamentals for a 5 star hotel...for example, ice bucket, possibility to make coffee or tea, etc. Also disappointed at the system for reserving lounge chairs around the pool. Nearly everything is taken before 9am by guests who belong to certain clubs, or who pay more, which seems unfair to guests who already pay a premium to stay at such a resort.

Simply awesome property. Highlight was seeing whales most the day right from the property & beach. Beautiful beach that was swimmable every day. Wave runners, kayaks, paddle boards availalble. Hot tubs, pools, great amenities & services. Room maid service was amazing. We'd track in sand an it just disappeared each day. All rooms have great ocean & pool views. We had a rental car which gave us more options for dining for excellent authentic mexican food and to save $$$. Really enjoyed hitting local grocery store - Fresko had amazing pastries. San Jose very close with lots of options. Hotel has amazing location for beautiful sunrises.

Gran hotel. Lugar espectacular. Tuve algunos incidentes en mi habitación. La luz del closet no se apagaba. El pasador de la ventana de la terraza no cerraba y el lavabo tenia una gotera. El lugar es espectacular me decepciono la limpieza de la playa. en mi estancia hubo 2 eventos en la playa y me decepciono la limpieza. Colillas de cigarro, latas de cerveza, botellas de plástico. No hay botes de basura. El hotel debe tener cuidado con el medio ambiente si no son capaces de recoger la basura no hagan eventos en la playa. No hay una sola señal que indique que no se tire basura. No hay basureros. No hay reglas para que los huéspedes no ingresen a la playa con botellas, bolsas o latas. Triste el cuidado que hay de no contaminar la playa y el mar.

We loved the overall experience, the view was incredible from our room, pool was awesome (although a little warm). Beach access was great especially the fact that we could actually swim in the ocean. The dining options were great and quality of food was excellent. Our only real complaint was the amount noise from the hallway from the ice machine and guests running and talking loudly after 10pm. I think the hallways being tiled did not help the situation (but I understand the design). Adding door sweeps would help a little bit with the noise.

Beautiful property. Witnessed A wedding ceremony every day! They wedding party takes priority over the pool area, FYI. Music from weddings every night. Toilet flushing noise all day. No coffee pot in room, no internet unless you pay extra $12 dollars /day. Food is very expensive. Regular coffee was $8.00, chips & guac $24. Mini fridge requires you put ice daily to keep things cool. We paid $500/night for a week. I think you get more at lowered priced hotels nearby that offer great service, nice accomodations and beach access.

Incredible stay, love the open air hacienda feel of the facilities and the views. Spa massages were fantastic. Most staff were very responsive and accomodating, including housekeepers and servers at Vela, Talavera and Sotol. Never got our sink drain fixed and the mini fridge doesn’t actually cool. But had splendid time celebrating our 25th!

Love this property. Have been going since 2009. Such a beautiful resort and best beach in Cabo. Amazing staff, food, restaurants and views. We did rent a beach cabana and service on the beach was VERY disappointing. Shockingly so. No one came to take our food and drink orders all day and would have to walk over to the beach bar just to get someone's attention. At the end of the afternoon we were walking up the beach from the water back to the cabana and were met halfway up by the server waving the check demanding I sign. This was 30 minutes before the beach bar closed. Same man that had ignored us all day despite shelling out quite a bit of money to rent a beachfront cabana. Felt very disrespected. Have had MUCH better service on the beach in the past. Service at the pool was outstanding as always. Same for breakfast buffet, Vela and lobby bar. Will go back, just hope the beach crew gets their act together.

Staff were kind and respectful. Room service response time was great. The concierge could do better by going the extra way to check on surrounding area adventures. Room was cleaned twice a day leaving the room clean and fresh. Breakfast buffet had was excellent. Overall it was an amazing trip will return again.

I reserved a two room suite. Got confirmation. Got a phone call from a cell phone in Missouri stating I had to cancel my reservation. I had no idea who was calling me, I thought it was a phishing call. Got a second call a month later, same story. Turns out the caller was legit and he cancelled my two room suite. I had to scramble to get two rooms. On arrival got a major hassle from the check in gal. Final analysis, paid more for one of the rooms, second room was nowhere near first room. Didn't get free breakfast even though I showed the gal my confirmation stating Breakfast Included. My room was 4005, my friend was 4020. Not a good experience. The property itself was very nice, clean with good amenities. The gym was fantastic! Food was excellent. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet and Vela. Last, but not least, the staff. They were exceptional at providing service and always accommodating. We’ll definitely be back.

Wait staff, bartenders and servers by pool/beach were all great. However, our experience was rough due to several issues with concierge team and reception desks. We didn;t receive a crib for several hours upon our late arrival after our 12 hour travel day. Brought the wrong crib and did not replace until asked several times 2 days later. Also had to pay for microwave to sanitize our baby bottles "this is advertised a family friendly resort". Also charge us for use of fridge for breast milk but we found an alternative to avoid that secondary charge. Our room was also only cleaned one time and the time they did come we asked for when we were at dinner one night and they were cleaning when we came back two hours later to put our baby to bed. Rough overall experience.

The hotel is super close to the beach and they have their private beach. We stayed on the first floor and we had our own plunge pool. The view is breathtaking. Hotel staff is super nice and incredible hospitality. Taxis/ transportation available. It is non inclusive but their complimentary breakfast was great with lot of varieties. Food inside the hotel expensive . Overall such a wonderful stay. Excellent place.

I had an amazing stay at the Hilton in Cabo! The beach was beautiful with soft sand and clear, turquoise waters, perfect for relaxing or strolling. The pool area was equally fantastic, offering multiple options including an adult-only pool and a lively family pool with a swim-up bar. The property is well maintained, and the views from the common areas framed by pillars and marble are gorgeous. The room was comfortable, clean and had a beautiful view of the beach. Could not hear the adjacent rooms when indoors. The restaurant Lena is fabulous - the Cuban night food was sensational - I wish it had been open every night. The other restaurant Vela had a charming atmosphere, but the food was average. Every member of staff interacted with were friendly, polite, and helpful.

Really like this resort. It’s beautiful but it is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE! This was our 4th time visiting and didn’t remember how expensive it was. We did try to upgrade our room this time and did get an ocean view and breakfast included but room was super expensive. The other food options for lunch and dinner were very expensive as well.

The food was ok on the restaurants the best one was La Lena .. the s’mores experience was terrible too many bugs and too much wood burned it was hard to stay so after 20 min we left the experience .. don’t recommend it .. also the Mexican night at $75 per person not worth it either l!

This resort was amazing! We will definitely be back. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly (no cell phones/ignoring guests)!! The whale watching was great! The pool was wonderful! The restaurants were very good. Mio's was one of our favorites with wonderful sushi and the view during dinner at Vela was amazing! We were disappointed that complimentary coffee is only served until 8:00 am. We are on vacation! Also finding seats at the pool was an extreme challenge even though my husband was up at 6:30 (to get his coffee) every morning to find seats. Many chairs had names on them all day but those guests would never show up. There should be a limit to how long the seats are held for those guests. It was frustrating not being able to find seats and then see seats sit empty all day because they were supposedly reserved for guests. That policy really should be looked at and adjusted. Overall we had an amazing stay and will most definitely be back in the future. Thank you to all the staff for their attention to detail and kindness! We especially want to thank the bartenders (Brandon, Jesus and Luigi) for going above and beyond in their service during our stay! The guys were always very kind, attentive and even created a special cocktail for my husband! They made us feel very much at home! Thank you for that! We will be back!

Great place to stay and relax. All the rooms have an ocean view! The only con is the outrageous prices on everything! Taco Tuesday is $50 per person for unlimited tacos. You kidding me, we are in Mexico, I can eat unlimited tacos in LA and it won’t cost me $50. Two coffees and a croissant is like $15. Pricing is insane. I rather take Uber and go have dinner at a local restaurant with more authentic food for fraction of a price. Otherwise hotel is great.
