I wish I could give zero stars. The planets ool was closed even though it was the only reason we booked this particular motel. We asked for a 1st floor room only to be told no but there was miraculously one available after we complained about the room smelling like mold, being nasty and half the lights not working. Second room wasn’t much better. Will never stay here again or recommend to anyone.

Instead of my I.D, the staff wanted to see my drivers license. And was behind shoot save glass. Is this an unsave area?

As a lot of reviews mention the beds are comfortable and clean. And that's where the good things end. Overall very run down and terrible looking. Decorative comforter (not for warmth) and a thin sheet are all that are on the bed. Towels are postage stamp size. And the lovely looking reception desk? Yeah, you don't even see that. You check in thru a sketch window like you are buying a 6 pk of bud and some cigs. If all you need is a place to lay your head before heading on your way, it's fine, otherwise, spend a little more $$ for piece of mind.

Very poor condition.

First room shower and A/C didn’t work, second room was infested with bed bugs and roaches. The pool was full of leaves and dirt, management didn’t stick up to their part on my refund. Will not be going back to that motel. I would recommend everyone to just go across the street to the motel 6 and get a room. No pool there but the stay was WAY better.

The photos of the property on the site were not accurate. It showed a lobby to check-in, but there was just a small room with plexiglass window where I slid my credit card under a small divider. The room smelled very musty. There was only one tiny bar of soap and two not full sized towels. At least one wall had been patched, but not repainted. Everything just gave my daughter and me uncomfortable vibes. Everything was old and dingy. I usually do due diligence when researching hotels, but unfortunately, I did not do a good job this time. As soon as we got in room 107, my daughter was reading almost all BEWARE and DO NOT STAY here reviews, including at least 2 for room 107. I will be researching hotel stays in much more detail and better diligence in the future. One pro: We decided NOT to stay. We were refunded the total of our stay minus the day we checked in. This was fair and I was very happy about that. PLEASE DO NOT STAY. Definitely not like any 2-star rated hotels.I've been at before. Solid 1/2 to 1 star.

Check-in was through the night window (it was 4:30 pm!) and very creepy. Bathroom was a postage stamp—had to stand up to wipe. Room was okay, nicely redone. Breakfast was a joke—cold, wrapped muffins….that’s it!

The floor bounced under your feet and felt like it was going to collapse when you walked on it. Mold all over the place, and we had to force the door to get in.

I wonder why hotels.com would promote this place at all. I wonder why I didn’t turn and make a hasty retreat as soon as I opened the door! I must have been just that tired! This place puts the “ish” in Scottish! Nasty room! Abandoned junk cars parked next to the building. Towels with disgusting stains. It appears as though no upkeep has been done for at least a decade. Layers of dust I could write in. Stains everywhere. Dead roaches on AC/heat unit. Freezer unusable due to frost build up. Stained sheets. (I slept in my clothes.) Gaps around the entry door. The next morning I asked the clerk how they could, in good conscience, present towels and wash clothes with stains so gross one wouldn’t even want to imagine the source! I was told then, AFTER I stayed, that if a person request the low price advertised on billboards they put you into a building they no longer attend to- a slum building! So it’s my fault for requesting the $49room. The staff was very friendly. The night guy even tried to give me a heads up when he told me I could still upgrade if I wanted and the room I was getting would seem a little @ different”. So maybe they have some good rooms somewhere but I won’t be finding out. Never again Scottish Inn! This was disgusting! Please expand and examine my photos.

Bedsheets were stained with blood. Dirty walls & floors

Cockroaches! Even on the side that they say is “remolded “ and costs more is a lie. Uncovered light fixtures and outlets, nasty bedding. Stinks. And the worst is a owner and his staff.. not only did they wear the same clothes every single day and look unbathed themselves but they are scammers just trying to up charge you for nasty stinky dirty rooms! Run!!! Don’t stay!!

No one should ever book a room here. It should be shut down. There were blood stains on the sheets, looked like someone left sex residue on the comforter. When we asked for a different room, trying our best to be optimistic- the room the moved us to had big roaches and bed bugs on the mattress. Thank god we didn’t bring our stuff into the room. I showed them the roach I squished on the key card packet, and asked for a refund we refused to stay in there- and would rather sleep in the car. They refused to give us a refund and I had to contact Expedia. I’m thinking about calling the health department. People should not be staying here. Seriously, low prices or otherwise. DO NOT STAY HERE-YOU WILL REGRET IT! I still feel itchy just having to be in there the little amount of time I was. And I let Expedia know they should not be recommending this place to anyone. I wish I had though to take pictures, the place was so horrifying we didn’t even think to do that.

I was deeply disappointed with my stay it was dirty at check in there was dirt on the tub the room was completely infested with cockroaches i had booked the room for 4 nights and only stayed 3 i got no refund for the 4th night and when i complained about the roaches all the staff had to say was i can show you paperwork that says its sprayed monthly i would recommend you stay far away from this place

God avoid at all costs. Pictures make it look decent, but upon arrival, there was a lot of seemingly sketchy people hanging around the property. Check in was fine, but once walking into the room, we were met with a very musty, warm, moist smell & squishy floors. It felt like we were walking over soggy craters with some carpet over them. None of the floor was even & you could hear the moisture underneath with every step. Hairs left in the shower, trash wasn’t taken out after the previous guests. We didn’t even want to touch the beds, we stood laughing hysterically in tears of disbelief before just leaving without being given a refund (which is fine, we knew there was no refunds & didn’t think we would get one). We expressed our concerns & left to stay elsewhere within 10 minutes of being there.

Diry ,gross ceiling had water damage in bathroom, air conditioning wasnt on when arrived took an hour to cool off.

Floor had an area that would sink when stepping on it. Paint was a flat white that was dingy and showed the dirty hands of previous guests

It smelled funny in room. Tub dripped water. But bed was comfortable and room was clean.

The staff is horrible and don’t you dare ask for towels after 5pm because you won’t get them I was there for 5 days and didn’t get any towels till the last night

Check in girl was very friendly and informative. Nice to meet someone so friendly after a long drive. Love the sheets ! Great choice. I’d definitely stay there again.

Surprise $20 cash deposit required an ATM visit. Carpet was sticky.

Very inexpensive but clean. Girl at the desk was very polite and friendly.

We checked in at almost 2:00A.M. and the person at the front desk refused to let us check out 1 hour late. He claimed there was a $20 cash deposit required but we only had $14 in cash and he made us go find an ATM. He gave us a room on the 1st floor, cool. Upon walking in, the floor was so weak I thought was stepping down a step into the room. There was hair on the sheets. The towels and wash cloths were just tossed on the counter, not even folded. We paid almost $70 for a room with 2 full size beds. Definitely not worth the price. Wont be staying again.

DO NOT stay at this hotel. It is absolutely disgusting. There was a spot of dried up blood on the front door. It is also in a very sketchy area. We ended up going down the road to another hotel. We ended up getting one night refunded, although the more I think about it the more I don’t think we should have paid for any of it.

I felt like a hooker in a truck stop. I've never been so concerned for my safety. If it wasn't the quickest one to get to before we fell asleep driving I would've never in a million years stayed here. Never again. I'm surprised I didn't get AIDS just using the bathroom. I sincerely hope this place gets closed down. It's a safety hazard. Also. Our door did not even close the door frame was coming off of the wall. Terrifying.

Room and entire hotel needs to be refurbished and cleaned. Toilet ran constantly. I took the battery out of fire alarm bc of persistent loud chirps. Dirty floor. But the bed and heating in the room was surprisingly nice! No breakfast offered

I first arrived and desperately needed a rest room. I was told they could not open the door to the rest room area that it was against policy, I had to go to as gas station. I had to run holding myself to the station. I came back and checked in. When we got up we went for breakfast and we were let into the same area I was denied to use for the rest room. Other than that first experience my stay was fine. I probably will not come back.
