Je commence avec les points plutôt négatifs : L’accueil peut varier en fonction de la personne présente, c’est un peu dommage. Le petit déjeuner n’est, selon moi, pas à la hauteur du prix. Le pommeau de douche n’était « pas ouf », comme on dit en France. (= bof bof) Points positifs : La piscine et le sauna sont super et un vrai plus. Le bar est un lieu très agréable. L’emplacement est idéal pour tout faire à pieds. Malgré les points négatifs nous reviendrions sans hésiter.

This hotel was very nice. The hotel room was as advertised. The hotel had an amazing spa relaxation pool. The only downside was that it was closed at 4pm on the weekend (and they requested we leave by 3:45 for clean up). It would have been nice to have longer hours.

Hotel Timișoara is in the heart of the old city centre. While the room could have been cleaner (it was really dusty on the floor) and cooler (I could not change the heat setting) everything else was perfect. Bed and pillows very comfortable, great location with dining, shopping and site seeing all by the hotel. The staff were excellent, very helpful. I’d stay again.

Check in war schnell und unkompliziert. Die Zimmer waren insgesamt schon sauber, die Handtücher würden z.T. eine Erneuerung gebrauchen. Man konnte sich zwar einen Kaffee im Zimmer kochen, aber Löffel Gabbana keine, nur die Papierchen, in denen sie mal verpackt waren. Die Klimaanlage kühlte auch nur sehr langsam, die Gardinen waren verdreckt. Beim Frühstück hatten sie überraschenderweise glutenfreies Brot für mich. Das Auffüllen des Büfetts war auch etwas träge. Insgesamt war aber der Aufenthalt trotzdem angenehm, vor allem wegen der tollen Lage mitten im Zentrum.

Where to start…this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. It’s definitely not!! Moldy sink caulk, moldy shower curtain that certainly hasn’t been changed in awhile, tub that is 50+ cm high where even the shortest of people have to bend over to get under the shower sprayer (I am 160 cm or 5’3”, so short), broken tub, stained carpet, walls that need repair …and a personal beef-no electrical plugs next to either side of the bed!! The mattresses must have come from the bargain bin at Ikea-so lots of squeaky springs. My stays at Ibis have been a better experience! The location is nice as it is close to the Old Town with a decent selection of restaurants as well as the lovely walking path next to the river. The staff were friendly. It’s easy to grab an Uber to the airport. Not sure if I will stay here again but if I do, I will certainly ask for an upgraded room.

I am so glad I chose this business hotel connected to the convention center, with non-smoking rooms and lobby that smelled fresh. (Thank you!) It wasn't "perfect" in that I could occasionally hear guests in another room and also, I felt a spring poking through one bed so slept in the other, which was fine. Nonetheless, it was CLEAN, spacious, staff was polite and friendly with terrific English, and most importantly, the hotel was in a primo tourist location, smack at the edge of a lively town square with shops, buskers, and tourists mingling around day and evening. Lights strung across the pedestrian streets lead to an even cuter town square (which didn't seem to have a hotel). Evening strolls in this downtown area are exceptionally pleasant, with families out playing, people chatting at cafes, music in the air, and customers lined up for gelato. Outside of the old town, the Iulius Town Mall is a nice area, but aside from that, there are many places left behind - crumbling from the Soviet era - especially over by the North train station which is now undergoing renovation. So aim for the plazas in the center when making your vacation plans. IMO, after looking around, this is one of the best places to stay in Timisoara.

Loved the location, the large room with, in our case, a view of the plaza. Easy walk to beautiful sites and all things downtown, easy access to mass transportation and close to train station. About two trolley stations from the mall. Staff was helpful and fast to answer. We loved the stay, would definitely chose it again!

Hotel in the heart of Old Town. Nice place to sit and have coffee or a drink. Lots of music and performers. Its a short walk to really cute shops. There is an authentic gift shop closeby. Everything is made locally. The room was spacious Housekeeping was great. Didnt try the pool. The food at Upside was excellent but nobody was there both times i went. Front desk (Vlad) gave me some good suggestions. The remaining staff not so friendly.

I will never book a “business “ room at this hotel again. Our room and the area of the hotel was pretty gross, really, and reception was snottier to me than in the past when I stayed in “deluxe “ room. Pool and Spa are really relaxing and fun. Our massage therapist, Angelica was really sweet! The general area near the hotel is amazing. Love the walkable city center.

Die Lage ist wunderbar, die Oper vor der Haustür, das Personal am Empfang sehr hilfsbereit, sehr freundlich, es wird sehr gut geputzt, sehr freundliches ausländisches Putzpersonal. Das Zimmer war still, die Betten sehr gut, es gab aber wenig Platz im Schrank für 2 Personen, nur drei Kleiderbügel, es fehlte ein Papierkorb im Zimmer.

Im Zentrum von Timisoara, leider sind die Parkgebühren auf dem Hotelparkplatz sehr hoch . Es gibt direkt neben dem Hotel die Möglichkeit auf einem günstigeren Parkplatz zu parken . Das Personal ist freundlich . Das Schwimmbad war geschlossen . Das Frühstück gab es leider nicht als Büffet ….kenne das Frühstück von früheren Aufenthalte und es war immer gut .
