Fantastic Downtown Condo With Shared Pool!

Absolutely enjoyed the time there as always. Love historic buildings especially the slanted floors. Thats what you will find in Savannah historic homes. The pool was awesome didn't have to drive to go swimming and just relax. David the owner is outstanding. We had the pleasure of meeting him this past week and some good conversation. Also it is close walking distance to everything. We also love to cook on the grill so the grill on the property was a plus. We love it there and will always stay there when visiting Savannah. Look no further......

Great communication with the host. The property is spotless and parking on the street is easy. You’re no more than a 10 minute car ride to the downtown area. Some of the best all-around food I’ve ever had is in Savannah and you should go to Tybee Island For an afternoon. Plenty of historical sites to visit, lots of history in Savannah. We will certainly return to Savannah and stay again at this property.

We’ve rented many vrbo’s. This was hands down the best yet. It is a quaint historic home with charming original wood floors. The jacuzzi tub was amazing. We filled it with hot water and did not ever run out of hot water! The sink is taller than I have at home. It made tooth brushing without getting things on my clothing a breeze! I love the height! The mattress was so great we checked the brand so we could investigate purchasing one. The owners are so friendly and the pool is amazing. It is only used by the guests of these units and there is always plenty of space. We were able to walk downtown to do everything we wanted and the Kroger’s is a short 1.5 block stroll. We love that the pool isn’t shared with hundreds of other rentals and didn’t have time restrictions. We can’t imagine booking elsewhere after staying here!

Great stay in Savannah. Parking was never hard to find, it was wonderful having a Kroger within a 2 minute walk and we loved sitting on the back porch and enjoying the sunshine! Thanks so much!!!

Check in was easy, the owner and his family who were staying in a nearby adjacent property were very helpful and pleasant to chat with but also gave us plenty of privacy. I loved the pool and back porch for an extra sitting area, and the nearby grocery store was so convenient. The house had everything we could need. We opted to not rent a car and that worked out great--the property is just a few blocks from a free bus line that goes to the historic district/riverfront and back. We took a day trip to Tybee Island for a dolphin cruise, visit to the beach, and a seafood lunch. We'll be back and would stay here again.

We had a great stay! The apartment was clean and the pool was very clean! It was close to EVERYTHING. The area was so cute and charming. David was great! Would def come back.

I stayed here because I was doing the Savannah Women’s Race on 4/6/24. It was the perfect location to Forsyth Park—4 blocks down the same street(the street runs into Forsyth Park). My only gripe was the front of the home need pressure washing or new paint and the front door does not open all the way. It gets stuck half way on the floor as you open the door. All in all, it was a great weekend!!!

We stayed in the property for a month and it was perfect. Kitchen well appointed, clean, lots of charm. Close to the store and everything in the historical district. 5 stars all around!

I honestly would still highly recommend this VRBO for a lot of people, just not for me. The most important part is cleanliness. I might have higher standards than most but the house was not very clean. If I was having guests over for an evening, my house would have been cleaner than this house. It appears as if the owner does the cleaning and does not hire a professional. (To the owner: if you do hire somebody, I would reconsider who you are using). LOCATION WAS GREAT!!!! I would personally choose a hotel next time because I felt the cleanliness actually made me apprehensive to other VRBOs. I’ve stayed in other rentals that have professional cleaners and have never had this problem but now I’m scared to take the plunge. The owner was EXCEPTIONALLY KIND! I know this review may not be received well, but I’m just being honest. First impressions are kind of a big deal and when you first pull up the outside of the house looks rough. When you get inside it gets a little better. I dropped the fan remote and had to get under the bed to grab it - there was a visible thick layer of dust that should not be there for a rental home. The bathtub was actually pretty dirty as well. I would not feel Comfortable bathing in there. The bed and couch were so squeaky, I toss and turn all the time no matter where I sleep but I kept my husband up because every movement made noise. For a rental I would hope for better quality overall. Here’s the highlights: affordability, location, friendly owner.

Pros: You can't beat the location - walking distance to all the things: grocery store, park, major tourist shopping, etc. The space was clean and easy to access with lots of parking. And the owners were all nice and easy to contact. The bed was also pretty comfortable. Cons: Calling the space renovated is generous, kind of. While there are newish light fixtures and sink areas, it DOES NOT look like the pictures; maybe a few years ago but not now. The outside of the house looks like it is in noticeable disrepair. The floors are deeply slanted, the doors are not properly aligned with door frames and spaces (so some don't open all the way and/or don't lock properly, including the bathroom door), and there are huges chips of paint missing in various places. I think a previous post mentioned the back door, and that was cause for concern for us too, we were thankful they had a door jam at least. The tub also didn't drain well. All in all, the cons weren't a huge deal because we weren't staying long; it was just a little uncomfortable when we were looking for comfort and leisure. On the other hand, the cost is low compared to other places, so you can spend more on food and experiences, so ehhh...just don't set your expectations based on the pics.

Properties always look different in the photos. We liked the size of the apartment for 2 of us. Plenty of room. We felt let down by the shabbiness of the apartment though. Compared to similar properties nearby, ours was shabby back and front and needs updating. The back porch was tired too. The bath/shower needs attention. Standing water in bath when showering, and shower not thoroughly plumbed in. Bath was grubby. Good aircon which worked well. Not very close to town, but a nice 20 minute walk to the sights. Forsyth had a couple of nice cafes at one end, and there was a good supermarket 5 minutes from apartment. All in all, we felt we would’ve liked a bit more upmarket facilities, oh and please put a kettle and corkscrew in the kitchen. We’d give 3.5 stars for this apartment.

The place was very clean and David was above and beyond accommodating!! The place we arranged was not available due to broken air conditioner so he immediately offered up this place and it was perfect!

The rental was very comfortable for two people. Very clean and great location! Grocery store right down street and lots to see within walking distance. The high jacuzzi tub might be a problem for some to step in as well as the high bathroom counter/sink for us short girls..lol! Bed was comfortable and has a nice back porch to relax on that leads to a lovely pool area. Had a chance to meet our host David who was a very nice guy! Would stay again!

The property was close to Kroger w/Starbucks, & Forsythe park, & therefore all the tours. The kitchen was well stocked and had coffee. All appliances worked. There was a window a/c unit in the bedroom that worked. Good water pressure and hot water. TV worked & had Roku. Owner was very responsive. However, the outside of the unit was dirty and in disrepair. The bathroom had mold & mildew on the window curtain and jets in the tub along with duct tape. The bathroom counter and sink were incredibly tall and difficult to use. The toilet tank had a misshapen tank cover. There is at least a 6" slant to the floor from the front door to the rear of the property. Be aware if you have balance issues. The mattress was comfortable. The pillows were not and were well used. Overall, an acceptable stay.

For a smaller condo, there was more than enough space for the two of us. The main room with the large smart tv is perfect for me as a gamer, and for my fiancé who likes dramas! It has a very spacious bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. It was overall a wonderful first vacation experience and will most likely be our go to next time we’re down in Savannah! (And it’s very close to River St will all the great food options)! Thank you, David.

The bedroom was huge with a very comfy king size bed, dressers and a desk. Nice size living room and a large bathroom with a jetted tub. The kitchen was very functional and efficient. The AC was great and kept it very comfortable. There was a great back porch with a table. The pool was very nice. A great way to spend the afternoon keeping cool and resting up for evening/night time adventures. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. We didn't use our car at all during our stay. There is a Kroger grocery a couple blocks away so we were never without anything we needed. We met the owner, David, who was super nice and let us know that he was always available if we had any questions. Another huge plus is that we had plenty of parking on our street and were able to park directly in front of the house which made easy unloading and loading of our car. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

The location and unit were overall very nice. The bed was pretty worn down and could use either a new mattress or different supports to firm it up. The water temp was great and water pressure was good as well. It’s very close to a grocery store so easy to stock some snacks and meal items for your stay.

Price was affordable. House is definitely old, as expected. Bed was super comfy

We stayed in the one-bedroom. We didn't spend much time in house, but it had everything we needed. The bed is comfortable, and the sheets and pillows were super soft. Everything was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. It was just a nice, older place to stay. We did end up walking to River Walk a couple of times. It's quite a walk, but if the weather is nice, it's a beautiful walk. Close walk to Forsythe Park, grocery store and many little shops and cafe's. David went above and beyond by mailing my car keys back to me that I accidentally left behind. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I'm back in the area.

The unit was nice and close to the city. The floors are not level.

Quite a slant to floors, but perfect for our 3 night stay. For owners, suggest you use wall anchors for wine rack. Thank you!

The floors were very slanted. Being 71, it was very hard to walk across. Property was clean, easy to check in and the bed was quite comfortable. Only problem was the foundation, which needed major fixing. Was very disappointed. Wouldnt recommend this property to anyone. We checked out several days early

My husband and I spent our anniversary at this condo and it had all the amenities needed for a long weekend getaway. There is a Kroger a short walk down the street which was a plus and walkable to many points of interest. The owner was very accommodating when our flight was delayed for a later check out so we didn’t have to drag our luggage or sit at the airport. We would sentry again with some family and friends!

Above and beyond.. owner brought new tv when TV wasn’t working.. it was perfect! New King bed was amazing and he brought me some awesome tea. So close to so much and easy deliveries.. and we loved we could get to everything with a Lyft or Uber in minutes.. will book again!

We decided to do a last minute trip to Savannah and it was our first time coming to the city. We enjoyed our stay! The host was very kind and always responded quickly if you needed anything. Definitely cared about their guests! Beautiful sunflowers were left for us to enjoy and you could smell the cleanliness of the condo as soon as you opened the door!

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Savannah. The location of the property was in walking distance (if you like to walk, which we do) to many tourist attractions. There is also a grocery store 1 block from the property which was very convenient. We also parked in the Trolley tour parking lot for free and bought a 2 day Hop on Hop off pass which was the best way to see all the historic sites, shopping and museums. The property manager, David was the best. We were running later than expected, due to hurricane Idalia, so I contacted David to let him know. He asked that we contact him to let him know that we arrived safely...no matter what time it was. He genuinely cared about our safety and wanted us to have a good time in Savannah We plan on staying at this property again when we return for a visit. Thank you David!

We enjoyed our stay. The pool and bbq grill was nice. Close enough to walk to the river and all over Savannah and back. or catch a free trolley nearby. We always had a parking spot at our door even on Fri & Sat night.

It was a great location. Ubers were always close and we were right next to a Kroger.

The Condo was clean, comfortable and plenty big enough for 3 adults. The pool is on the small side but was a nice one and always clean. My only "wish list" item for the condo would be some kind of rack or shelves in the kitchen to be able to store pantry items and maybe a couple of smaller pots for cooking. Got confused somewhat regarding the parking in the back as another renter had parked in front of the red fence that was by the pool. Found the correct parking and it was a little overgrown so I only parked there on street cleaning day. Liked the location and having the Kroger Store within walking distance. The neighborhood was fairly quiet and only a few blocks from the Free DOT shuttle bus stop. We would definitely stay here again

Great place for a couple. Grocery couldn’t be more convenient - 2 blocks away. Forsyth Park 6 blocks away. Anywhere downtown is about a mile. Would stay again.
