A perfect place to explore Cabbagetown and surrounding neighborhoods, including a very short walk to the parks along the Don Valley. This is a newly renovated space with brand new fittings and furnishings throughout. The layout of our unit (204) was "quirky". There's a kitchenette area with plates and cutlery but nothing else, not even a microwave. Perhaps that is on its way. There is a coffee maker (but also an excellent coffee shop across the street). Our unit had queen beds, one on the main floor and one on the upper floor. The small bathroom (shower only) is on the upper floor. This is definitely a place for sleeping, not for lounging, as there is only one comfy chair (downstairs) and a small table and 4 chairs upstairs. The TV upstairs is next to the headboard so watching TV is only possible via the little chairs. The main drawback is the walls are paper thin, so whatever happens in another unit happens in your unit. Fortunately, my wife had ear plugs and I slept with my noise cancelling ear buds. Not idea, but what to do? An excellent breakfast place (johnnyg's) is a 3 minute walk up Parliament, and there are plenty of restaurants in this area too. Overall, I'd say decent value for money, but fair warning -- no ear plugs, no decent sleep.

Room was awesome - access to room not easy for persons with mobility issues. Steep stairs but everything else was good.

Room was not what was shoed in the picture, no kitchen, fridge and stove as promise. The owner's response to not having all the amenities was that not all room as them. It sure would be nice to know ahead of time which room your paying for... Other room with other customer are just separated with normal indoor door, No privacy. The lady who greeted us was very nice but the owner was not cooperating and NOT acknowledging the fact that we did get what we payed for...
