For a longer stay like this, having the kitchenette was great. Also appreciate the additional bathroom space compared to the smaller rooms. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Quality of breakfast was better on the weekends than during the week, but better than elsewhere overall. Insufficient space in the parking lot on weekends, when people resorted to parking wherever they could whether it was an official spot or not.

We love the Genetti. We stay here every time we come through Williamsport. It is an older hotel, but that adds to it's charm. We especially love it during rhe holiday season. The service is phenomenal, the front desk is friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast is delicious. The restaurant/bar in the lower level is a great place for a nightcap. You can't beat it.

Very nice room, lot of cool history to the hotel. Parking sucked.. was afraid to leave it because there was no space. Everything else was great. Clientele was fine, staff was friendly.

Checked into my room and noticed the bathtub had not been clean as there was chunk of soap sticking to the drain , and hair all over back edge of tub and dirty and debris throughout! It was kinda gross I’m all honesty clearly it wasn’t clean so what else was skipped in the room cleaning?

Our first room was filthy and wreaked of cigarettes and mold. It was an exterior room like a motel and just looked completely rundown. We go to the front desk, and get assigned a new room. We get to that room to find the door open. Dirty wet rags on the dresser. An overwhelming stench of mold was coming from the bathroom. We open the door to find it a complete mess, the sink leaking into the cabinet that was full of black mold. We go back to the front desk, show them the pictures, and the manager says “I know what it looks like. I don’t need to see your pictures. I thought they cleaned it up”. Meaning he knew he was putting us in a room with black mold. We get assigned a third room. There was a nasty, stained over stuffed reclining chair. The toilet backed up, and we had to call the front desk. Manager, practically laughing “you guys aren’t having any luck”. At this point we were just over the whole ordeal. Had there been vacancy at another hotel, we would not have stayed.

All I have to say is wow…and not in a good way. Pictures online made this look like an old timey, cool place to stay. I think hotels in Afghanistan probably are better. This may have been a crown jewel at one time but now it’s tired, sad and dirty. Asked for maid service, got a clean towel but they never took the old, made the bed or replaced the soap and shampoo. Avoid if at all possible. Quite the disappointment.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Our room was spacious and very clean and included a comfortable reading chair, large TV, and large fridge. Bathroom was also spacious with a great shower. Heat worked well. Both rooms looked recently renovated. Neighboring rooms were quiet throughout the night. Staff at check-in were fast and efficient and very friendly. The complimentary parking was easy to enter and convenient. We were very pleased by the entire experience.

The staff at the front desk and in the breakfast were great, breakfast buffet was great, many options! You can tell people have smoked in the room, it still smelled like it. The bathroom and room was super small almost to the point of being uncomfortable, surfaces were sticky(which was disturbing after hearing the um, fun, going on in the room next door). While I was checking in, another hotel guests’ dog squatted and peed on the floor right in front of me, and people were almost feral at the breakfast buffet(calm down, it’s just a bagel). I’m basing this review on the property itself, not the rude guests. Positives: staff, breakfast, area around has nice restaurants and entertainment Negatives: small rooms, cleanliness, noise level

My room was pretty small as was the bathroom. The room was quiet, and it was clean. The mattress was comfortable.The staff was very helpful and friendly is endly. I was visiting family for Christmas so did not spend much time in the room, it would have been crowded with 2 people. I'd stay again for the type of visit I had, but wouldn't want to spend much time in the room.bathroom.

The room smelled of cigarettes despite being non-smoking. I called the front desk and they were too booked to change my rooms but offered a 10% refund. The bathroom was a closet and could barely fit an average sized person so definitely don’t recommend for anyone in a larger body. The bed seemed old and was pretty uncomfortable. They had several events going on so the parking lot was full and I had to park two blocks away at night. The receptionist was nice but that’s all that was nice about this hotel.

There were two major events taking place at the hotel, so there was a lot of noise and confusion when I checked in. Also, the parking lot was full. The room was spacious, but the furniture was old and uncomfortable. The bathroom had many problems, including a toilet seat that was too low, not enough room for toiletries above the sink, and an old looking bathtub with a high side and no rail to grab when getting in.

Positives: Room 827, king bed was very comfortable, bathroom was very small, but shower was fine, excellent buffet breakfast and clean outdoor pool. Negatives: couch had broken springs, had to flush the toilet twice and hold down the handle, advertised as a suite, but only had a broken down couch and a fairly nice cushioned chair, in a very small room.

It was a nice day, however, the mattresses are in dire need of replacement. My wife and I slept in the middle of our kings size bed, because we kept rolling into it from the edges. We were only there for a night so I didn’t make any sense to get downstairs and complain.

We have stayed at the Genetti many times and enjoyed ourselves however it is in desperate need of room updates while keeping the integrity of its old time charm. Not impressed with the rooms at all but the bathroom was the least impressive.

We stayed on 2 different nights 11/6 and 11/9 on the same floor. The bathroom on the first night was tiny, the bed way too soft. The second night the bed had a low spot down the whole center that brought both people together in the middle, it was soft as a marshmallow and a terrible night sleep. The rooms need to be upgraded since there was no place to to plug in the devices by the bed, the shade was ripped off the wall.

We love this place! The reason why we like staying here is there are many different room options. We like the two bedroom options that have two separate bedrooms separated by French doors. I have also had the room with a full bar like living room. It’s an old hotel but they manage very well keeping it up.

When we arrived, there was only one receptionist at the desk. Receptionist's manager was out sick. Huge line waiting to check in. Once we made it to the desk, room was not ready. Had to wait for it to be supposedly cleaned. After checking in, went to room. Room was smelly, carpet dirty, toilet not cleaned, bugs on shower wall, a plastic bag was covering the smoke detector in the room. Was not happy with it at all.. After going to receptionist again, he stated he understood and informed us to get a hold of epedia and have them contact them for a full refund. We did not stay there.

Check in was quick & easy - staff at front desk were friendly & professional. Room was nice - clean & well-maintained. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great. We stayed during "First Friday," which was fun - a really nice community event. There were plenty of restaurants within a short walk. Definitely recommend.

Overall, the hotel was nice. The staff was excellent. Everyone from housekeeping and food services to the front desk were wonderful and helpful. The downside was at check in, we had to try three different rooms before we got the correct one. We reserved 2 queens and got assigned to 2 rooms that had full sized beds (rooms 526 and 625). When we got to the third room, 109, it was the right sized beds. However, there was mold growing on the wall behind the ottoman. We took a picture, showed the front desk staff and emailed it. That part was disappointing but again, the staff were friendly and helpful.

let's start with check in. they issued me a keycard and when i got to the room it didn't work. had to go down and get new keycard. then i was laying on the bed and a stranger open my door with a keycard. i had to go get then to recode the room. for the next two days when i came back my keycard didn't work and had to go back down and have it recode it. i tried the restraunt and the i orderd soup and it was cold, breakfast wasn't much better only one meat item and only scramble eggs. waffles were the only good thing and you made your own. I'm sorry to say if this was the only hotel in the area i will go camping.

The hotel is historic, and very old, which did not bother me Room was clean, except for a potato chip bag on the floor We were told the maid hadn’t finished cleaning and we were not supposed to be given that room yet, Also, the folks above us were having what seemed to be a dance party until 330am I called the night manager and he took care of it, but also gave me a discount. Breakfast was awesome, and so was the server

Location of this historic hotel was excellent as it was near numerous inviting restaurants. Some physical aspects, as door that stuck, were understandable as hotel is clearly in the process of being refurbished. Hotel staff would benefit greatly from training in serving the public. Information provided at front desk was not consistent and at times offered as if it was an annoyance. Breakfast ticket system could be improved as staff repeatedly asked if we had a ticket. Slot machines in the lobby didn't seem to fit with the beautiful lobby!

The service was exceptionally good - the front desk was so welcoming and informative. The breakfast buffet was the best we have ever had in this type of hotel - lots of choices you don't usually see. It is turn of the 20th century hotel, that tips its hat to the charm of that era and the rich past it had. The bar area is fantastic (cheap drinks) and come the summer, you cannot beat the location. The breakfast buffet is really one of the best in the area and included free if you stay.

My girlfriend and I both enjoyed our stay. All of the staff we interacted with were very nice and helpful. The bartender in the attached bar was excellent! He was kind, his drinks were made well, and he had excellent suggestions. The food from the restaurant was delicious and the chipotle root beer BBQ pork belly was amazing!
