The photos do not do the villa justice - it is absolutely gorgeous. Lupe was amazing help for day-to-day needs, and Catherine was very patient and helpful with some booking platform issues we were facing. All in all, incredible stay!

Lupe and the cook Juana were wonderful. The meals she prepared were delicious. The pool looking out on the beach was such a fun addition. Great spot for sunrise walks. One day in fact we saw a few guys training horses on the beach right after sunrise. There were a few dolphin off shore. Our group really enjoyed our stay

Luminar is in a remote gated community which is stunning. Lots of spectacular homes. The beach front access and pool were worth it alone and the open air home is definitely a unique experience. We loved all of that. The house is a bit dated and not quite like the photos. We wanted to hire the private chef but ended up cooking for ourselves - communications a bit confusing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy but kitchen wasn’t terribly clean. We limited our use of things to a few items we washed ourselves. All in all though we enjoyed our 2 days.

Our group of 11 adults and 4 young children had an incredible stay at Villa Lumina. The sunsets, sunrises, and stargazing were spectacular. The house was simple, clean, and had a range of comfortable seating. Lupe, the house care taker was wonderful. He did many grocery and snack runs for us, making the time extra relaxing. The home, rooms, and pool were cleaned daily. We hired a cook for our stay and the meals were fresh and tasty. Drinking water was provided. The beach is stunning and a very serene, private place to walk.

The place is beautiful with sunrise and sunset walks on the pristine beaches. The infinity pool is delightful. Meals sitting at the incredible wood table. We had an unfortunate language misunderstanding with Lupe, the property manager which caused great distress for him and for me, it led to some hurtful accusations from the owner. Once the misunderstanding was cleared up, things were much better. Lupe helped us to arrange two different activities. The bioluminescent boat ride was good and we would have had difficulty planning it without Lupe help. The boat ride out of Plays Angelito that he arranged for us was about $2000 pesos more than if we had arranged it ourselves which would have free been very easy to arrange at the beach. The house its beautiful and the beach is empty and tranquil. The down side of this is that if you don’t have a car, it is going to cost about $1000 pesos each way to go into town.
