Very disappointing experience. On Hotels.com, the room was described as a 25 m² single room with a very large bed with corresponding photos. Instead, I was given a tiny room of approximately 8 m² with a very narrow bed. The room was in poor condition and looked extremely worn out, felt more like a hostel than a three-star hotel room. The window in the room was impossible to open and in the bathroom it was impossible to close. The hotel indeed offers this type of rooms, but at smaller price than I paid. When I asked at reception to change room for the one I paid for, my request was refused in a rather unfriendly manner. They also refused any reimbursement / compensation. I addressed them also with Hotel.com support, it was useless as well. The breakfast was also disappointing. Poor food quality and assortment, not even a coffee machine - only solvable powder. Overall, I got the impression that guest comfort and satisfaction are not a priority for the hotel staff. Both the condition of the property and the level of service felt outdated and fell far short of what I would expect from a hotel in Germany.

Friendly and fast staff for check-in. The room was very quiet, however the interior is mostly timeworn. Fine for a night.

Disappointed by communication level, the 10pm limit on checking in, and more. For 170 euros a night and 50 euros for my flight getting me there at 11pm (not to mention the expensive taxi to get there before the midnight limit to ensure I wasn’t sleeping on the streets), I’d have hoped for more.
