Was not a fan of this place at all. Upon Arriving I find that parking was $55 a day. That is just straight up robbery. For the honor of overpaying for parking I walked in to a lobby with a line in front of the one working elevator. There were 4 there, but only one worked. Once in the room I discovered the bathroom door would not close all the way. Made it uncomfortable for everyone. On checkout day the only working elevator had failed. I had to carry my luggage for 5 flights. Luckily they got this fixed for the mass exodus at 11.

Close to the downtown area but not to close that you hear the noise. The staff was wonderful. The rooms very clean. Entertainment in the lobby in the evening. I Would definitely stay here again when we visit Nashville. 👍

Book this hotel based on the indoor pool advertised in the pictures because there was a chance of rain in the forecast during our stay.. rain comes we put on swimwear just to find out pool had been closed for 2 yrs+ why would it still be in the pics.. very disappointed

The room itself was great, no issues. They have one working elevator! One out of four. You could have to wait several times before you could even squeeze in due to it being full! Talked to a person and they said they stayed here last year and the elevators were broken then too! How can that even pass inspection to have one working elevator? Besides that the rooms were clean.. parking EXPENSIVE $55 a night! To be fair parking everywhere was spendy. If you can uber while there, don’t get a car.

Room was not clean, had a dead cockroach in the room. They did switch rooms for us and said they would comp us one night of our stay, bu when checking out said they could not do that. Will not stay at that hotel again.

We had 2 rooms booked. One room was very musty smelling and had paint chipping off the ceiling. Window sills had black under the paint you could see (appeared to be mold?). Also, we were not informed we needed to request towels or housekeeping but we found out at 12pm when we returned to our messy room from earlier in the day. Just very disappointing and not Hilton standards.

When I called the day prior to arrival, I was told I could go to the desk and see if a room was available for an early check in. The front desk attendant was not friendly and didn’t like that I tried it check in early. I was told check in was 4pm and I should go back then. The hotel was older and it showed in some areas. We had a corner room right off the elevators and the bathroom was TINY! The shower was awful, I got soaked with freezing water having to lean all the way into it just to turn it on, the shower head was terrible and there was no fan in the bathroom. Overall the hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The main problem we had was with the bathroom.

Star was very friendly and room service was great daily. They were very on top of bed resets and towel replenishment. This location was a perfect distance to Broadway so we were able to walk everywhere Only negatives were that the elevators broke during our visit and we were on 8th floor. Even when they did get repaired only one was working and it took a long time to finally get on each day. As well as we were given a corner room and it was very difficult to move around in at times. When my husband was brushing his teeth he had to walk out of the bathroom just so I could walk in, close the door and get in the shower before he could return and finish. This type of room is really only suitable for one person.

The room was outdated and the bathroom doors would not close because they are old and need replacing. The view out the window was of wall inside the hotel with no window facing any part of the city. The guy that checked us in was not very friendly. However, the bartender was very nice. Not what you expect at Double Tree.

We enjoyed this hotel. We are a family of 4 and we recommend the King Suite with Parlor, which has a sofa bed pull out, a separate dining are and additional seating. The room was huge which was great since our kids are at the age where they don’t share a bed and there was a ton of room for everyone. We recommend that you request extra bedding in advance as we were lacking in blankets. Other than that, this hotel was perfect and conveniently located and staff was very accommodating.

My family was there for a cheer Competition along with many others families and out of 4 elevators only one was working. Then on the final day when we went to check out that one stopped working. We requested additional towels and for the conditioner and shower gel to be refilled since they weren’t before we arrived and that never happened. Felt like a partial refund was in order but the front desk staff just laughed.

I was quite underwhelmed by this doubletree experience. It’s in a great area so that gets a star. When we checked in it was great. Everyone was so friendly and then when we got to our room, it was musty in there. We called immediately and they told us to come down for our new key cards. We went to our new room and it seemed bigger in a good way, however, the bathroom was not up to par. My friend showered first and it was clogged up to her feet. Gross. It took maintenance 45 minutes to come fix it before I showered. We also asked them for a blow dryer and they didn’t believe that we did not have one in our room before they gave us another one. Anyway, the next day I complained that our next door neighbors were loud during quiet hours. They said they would handle it. I complained a second time the next day that they were loud at 3 am again and it’s like the front desk woman did not believe me and she also said that our room wasn’t an adjoining room but it clearly was. That’s why it was so loud. (If the mattress was actually comfortable I would have not had a problem going to sleep.) Then I also tried to confirm that we could still get early check out and she was so rude to me. It doesn’t feel like customer satisfaction was a top priority. I’ll give another star for the location and a star for the double tree cookies.

The staff was AMAZING! Place was very clean. My only complaint is that valet most times took too long. There was only 1-2 gentlemen working but they were going as fast as they could. They still remained polite and courteous although I know they were overwhelmed

Overall great stay. Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Great location and super comfortable beds! Its not one of the newest hotels but its worth the money and the location is great! Oh and a bonus for the Starbucks right dwnstairs!

The staff at our arrival was very friendly. After that, down hill experience. Our AC didn’t work. We notified the front desk. They said they were sending someone up, after an hr of waiting we decided to let them know we were going to dinner and they can go check the ac. We got back, nothing was resolved. Same experience for the next two days. We then got a lot of attitude when we asked for more toilet paper and towels. The last night I asked for water, the girl on her phone waved her hand at me and said she’ll send it to the room. A hr later I had to go down stairs and get the waters myself. The hotel itself is very dated and dirty as well. We go to Nashville multiple times a year and I’ll never stay at a Hilton again. would not recommended staying here.

Upon check in the valet service was overwhelmed and that took a bit to get parked. When attempting to check in to our room Johnaa was very rude and claimed I had no reservations. I had 2 rooms booked and I spelled my name multiple times and she was very condescending that I had to be mistaken. As it turns out she had misspelled my name and that was the reason for being unable to find them. One of the rooms was supposed to be a King room and the other 2 queens. I ended up with 2 queen rooms which I suppose was better than nothing. She provided no explantation or apology for her mistake in looking for my reservations and her behavior. When guests arrive there should be more professionalism by the staff. Overall the hotel was okay but not stellar by any means. I will go back to my old faithful Hotel Indigo on my next stay in Downtown Nashville. All it takes is one bad apple to ruin what should have been a nice experience.

Watch for the hidden fees and using a "third-party" service (i.e., Expedia) when making reservations. I reserved a king but when I arrived was told that when booking through a third-party they just reserve the room and may honor the request, if there is room. Yet when asked if I get money back because a double queen is cheaper than a queen, they say you need to contact the third-party. Also, watch for the hidden fees. What you pay at reservation, is not the price. They will take on state fees and valet fee is literally base on per day. Doesn't matter if you are staying one night, you will get charged for the day you arrive and for the day you leave. Their response is "you can find your own place to park." Nice property and close to TPAC, but will NEVER stay here again because of attitude and lack of customer service.

Great experience. The room was clean and staff was very friendly. We’re about 2 blocks from Broadway which worked out great since we could park the car and walk. Valet fee was $55 which was a bit steep but considering the convenience it worked out. I would definitely stay here again.

It isnt a bad hotel but definitely not worth the cost. You can get the same experience at a cheaper hotel and not be overcharged for extras like breakfast. Also, they make it sound like breakfast is included in your stay and it is not.

The front desk, restaurant and valet staff were excellent. Very helpful, courteous and accommodating. Rooms a little old school as far as lay-out. Bathroom a little tight but room nice size. Ordered in one night, the pizza and cheeseburger delivered to the room were excellent. Location perfect. Not too close to Broadway (thankfully) but centrally located to many other attractions. Used a car service and arrived at most places in 10 minutes or less from hotel. Many others within walking distance. Would stay again.

Everything was fabulous about this property. From the valet service to housekeeping and desk staff. Everyone was so helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Location was great for a quick walk down to broadway. The breakfast was delicious. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. Highly recommend it.

Very nice hotel in a superb location for accessing all downtown attractions along 4th Street & Broadway. Nice bar/restaurant area with coffee shop, too. King room was roomy, clean, & well appointed. As with all the downtown hotels, the valet parking is very expensive so if you use it, you need to consider that in your total costs of room. We were told there's a self park across street but it seemed a ton of trouble & it was not exactly cheap, either. Just cheaper. All staff were excellent!

We had an amazing time in Tennessee and it was only amplified by the hotel. We were able to get a yummy breakfast in the lobby, delicious drinks at the bar and it was walkable to every area we wanted to go to! It was clean in every area and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will be back!
