The view was wonderful, the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot! The hot tub was a little too hot to get in but the pool was nice. They came and fixed the water temperature on the hot tub so we were able to get in. This was a beautiful stay.

The property was wonderful. Lots of great included amenities. Pool, beach area with dock, chairs, hammocks, mini soccer field and kayaks. The service was great and the workers were all very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. The rooms were comfortable and everything was very relaxing and peaceful. Would definitely book here again.

The hotel sits in the jungle, it is beautiful. We saw plenty of wildlife including woodpeckers and spider monkeys in the hotel grounds. The sauna and beach area are stunning. The rooms are clean but you can hear noise from your neighbours if you’re unlucky enough to have noisy neighbours. The one downside is the overpriced restaurant. The food is double the price of other restaurants in town.

The staff was so helpful in arranging transportation to/from the airport, and in planning a guided trip to Tikal. One couple in our group said it was the loveliest place she had ever stayed. We appreciated the pool, the hot tub, and the on-site restaurant and bar. This is a perfect place to stay if you are short on time, want to visit Tikal (much closer than Flores itself), and want a lovely place on the lake.

Es una linda propiedad. Un poco descuidado el mantenimiento. El jardin de enfrente de mi habitacion era un montarral, no jardin que ellos llaman. Restaurante desayuno muy bueno. Los demas platos creo que no son de la categoria del hotel, No tenian coca cola zero un dia, otro dia no tenian carpaccio. El servicio a la habitación es muy buen servicio. Los ranchos siempre llaman murcielagos, en las mesas encontre dos veces heces de estos animales.

The room and entire hotel area was very clean and the AC in the rooms worked very well. The staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate any special request. The beach are by the lake was lovely, well maintained and beautiful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Check in estricto a las 3pm como en todo GT. Personal super amable. Costos de traslados precios exhorbitantes, mejor contratar por fuera. Habitación no sirve caja de seguridad y no la arreglaron hasta que nos fuimos. Es mandatorio que revisen las habitaciones que todo funcione. Habitación muy limpia. Personal de limpieza muy ruidoso gritan y están risas y risas sin respetar la armonía del lugar. Personal de restaurante muy amable. Personal recepción muy amable No había servicio de bebidas el jueves en la alberca. Incómodo lugar junto al lago para estar, no hay servicios ni se antoja . Todos los muebles anticuados. No recomendable, no dan ganas de quedarse en el hotel.

The hotel itself was fine. It is a bit of an older hotel and you can tell but it was clean and presentable in every way. The issues were; 1. No wifi unless you’re in the lobby. This makes it extremely inconvenient when you are travelling from abroad. 2. The front desk has connections with local tour guides and taxi drivers, to provide packages for tourists. We paid $75 for a taxi from the airport to the hotel (through the front desk). That is a much higher than normal fee for a taxi in that area and we had to take it again to get back to the airport at the end of our trip. The second time we felt that we were taking advantage of was the tour to the ruins. You would pay for the entry separately and then they charged us (No receipt/invoice/company name of course) $220 for 2 people. Again, this is a tour promoted by the front desk. As a tourist, you don’t have many options since you’re in the middle of nowhere without any way of transportation to shop around. We think that price was also completely disproportionate to the current market. An excursion to the ruins including transportation and a tour guide should be around $25 per person, not $110. 3. The bar staff would not show the drink menu on purpose. The staff would show you only food menu and you’dhave to trust the prices that they gave you verbally. They charged us $13 USD per 355 ml canned beer. That is an insane mark up for any restaurant or hotel. We had never charged us that much in any 5 star hotel/restauran

House keeping would wake you up at 8 a.m I didn’t like that. They didn’t let you sleep and was traveling all week and I wanted to sleep in and couldn’t. Plus I got to the hotel early and they couldn’t notified my room was ready. Had to go ask and they didn’t even know.

Una pequeña joya por muchas razones. La maravillosa atención del personal es un verdadero ejemplo de como debería ser el servicio al cliente en todos los hoteles del mundo. Keiron de recepción, don Ronald del restaurante y Nelson de servicios varios son personas de la cuales cualquier hotel debería sentirse orgulloso de llamarlos empleados ya que su atención va más allá de los huéspedes deseríamos tener al pensar en un excelente servicio, en realidad el personal de este lugar es excepcional como pocos, se nota que aman su trabajo y lo hacen con tal pasión que logran transmitir algo que no es enseñado en el área de la hotelería sino que su amabilidad y cariño franco viene del corazón y se puede sentir en el ambiente haciendo de este hotel algo indiscutiblemente especial. El traslado desde el aeropuerto al hotel lo contratamos con ellos y fue fácil, responsable y rápido, el conductor Fernando muy amable y simpático, un viaje de unos 35 min con lindas vistas. Tuvimos suerte de un early check in sin cargo adicional con una deliciosa bebida de cortesía. Los desayunos, almuerzos, cenas y bebidas todo súper rico de buenísima calidad en sabor, cantidad y presentación. Riquísima y bella piscina. Habitaciones amplias y cómodas con linda vista al lago. La playa increíble otro punto maravilloso. Temascal, kayaks y tour en bote buenísimo sin costo adicional. Único detalle es que algunas áreas estaban en remodelación y no avisaro de esto, pero se compensa con lo demás. Volvería mil veces

Reserved a trip to Tikal via messaging and at the property they had no idea. In messages they responded a day later. Ridiculous had to call another taxi for the service. We had to wait two more hours. DO NOT RECOMMEND I wish I could post pictures of the conversation with the hotel .

Nice place if you have a car, food is very average not so good you have better cooking outside, Wi-Fi inside your room doesn't exist only on the restaurant areas and front desk swimming pool is okay the staff is very nice. The hotel has a private beach area. The property has a very nice view of the lake and lots of trees.

Hotel is nice, safe and has many facilities (e.g. Jacuzzi, nice pool, lake access, ...). The staff is very kind and friendly. The main issue is that is in a rather remote location, hard to access and get out if you do not have a car. As a result the prices of services are high (e.g. taxi to and from Flores is 50 USD, buffet dinner 26 USD, ...) compared to Guatemala standards.

Expedia states Standard Room is for 4 people and extra rollaway bed is available. I was told I had to pay extra for 4th person and extra bed is not available. The employee at reception said it is a marketing problem and the re is nothing that can be done about it. The road is bad to this location. I have stayed at many hotels in Guatemala and this is one that does not work with you. Many things are a challenge for this hotel. If you travel a lot you know the feeling that things just don’t happen easily or at all at certain places. I prefer not to struggle when I travel. there are many other options, I recommend you check them out.

Great location on lake with outdoor activities but completely limited with any other offerings except the outrageously priced restaurant. No options for a cheap snack or drink. Lack of wifi accompanied with 3G network led to hours stuck in lobby trying to make and confirm travel plans and payments.

El hotel ya muestra signos de edad pero la súper atención lo compensa. Las habitaciones son amplias con buen aire acondicionado. El desayuno bufet delicioso. Hicimos uso del temazcal gratis y fue muy buena experiencia salvo por los mosquitos que nos picaron (esencial ponerse repelente antes de entrar). Los precios de los tours muy competitivos (nos llevaron a Tikal y tomamos una lancha a Flores) y muy cómodo poder organizar todo desde el mismo hotel.
