Spacious room with comfortable bed and pillows. On-site restaurant serves delicious and affordable meals. Extremely helpful English speaking staff particularly their bellboy, “Johnny”. He always greeted my husband and I and offered his assistance whenever he could. On-site “gym” listed, however, it is in dire need of an upgrade. Daily rate could be cheaper. Hotel, in our opinion, was slightly overpriced. However, location was desirable.

Short of staff. staff busy doing everything that you have to wait a long time to be asked if we needed anything. I chose the property because it had a sauna but in order to use it you had to purchase a full spa service. At the pool we were not asked if we needed anything.

Original room had an A/C unit that did not work. They promptly moved us to another room that unfortunately had several dead and alive cockroaches. Finally we were given a room that was comfortable and clean. After that first night of moving several times we had a pleasant experience.

No hay elevador, y muchas gradas. No es un lugar apto para personas con necesidades especiales. Para no utilizar las gradas, nos hicieron salir del hotel a media noche para darle vuelta a la cuadra y acceder a nuestro dormitorio. No hay parqueo cerca, se debe tomar un bus. La limpieza del baño deja mucho que desear para un hotel de su categoría.

The hotel is nice and decent, but there are some drawbacks. You can hear cars and motorcycles going by from the rooms, which makes it noisy. The TV has no English option, which is inconvenient for travelers. The front desk staff were helpful but not very friendly. The biggest issue was the private driver arranged by the hotel. It cost $60, and the ride felt unsafe. I would recommend using Uber instead — it’s cheaper and more reliable. Overall, a decent stay but with room for improvement. The massage at ceiba spa was great but not worth 350 dollars We got the couple ritual

Big hotel with great pool and a lovely view of a nearby volcano. It is expensive for the area and breakfast is not included (€ $20pp). Negatives are noise from the road on the eastern side of the property. We stayed twice once in the main hotel area near the pool and the other time in their other building across the road. Both our rooms were next to this road and our sleep was disturbed by traffic, either noise from engines or the rumble of traffic as they go over the cobbled streets. Request a room not next to the road!

This is a lovely hotel a few blocks from the main square. While it was clean and lovely, my daughter and I both felt that for this price they could have had a more hospitable reception for guests, some more interaction throughout the stay, maybe afternoon drinks or some kind of way for guests to interact. We were surprised that there was no coffee made in morning in common areas and how we had to always try to figure out how to order anything. The servers and housecleaning ppl were amazing I just expected more at that price point from the hotel itself. Also, our room had no windows and they tried to tell us this was “premium.” We didn’t know we would be in a separate building. That said, I do recommend this to those wanting a clean and quiet stay. I will probably try a smaller boutique hotel next time with more interaction but I enjoyed my stay nonetheless.

The only people who were truly kind and polite to us were the doormen, who were extremely friendly and attentive at all times. I really did not like this hotel and would not want to stay there again. The buffet doesn’t have many options, and I also didn’t like that the staff are the ones who serve the food, especially since, as I mentioned, they are not friendly.

Multiple times we asked for towels that were missing or ice (since our room didn't have a fridge) and they didn't bring them and needed multiple reminders. We asked for a quiet room and was placed next to the pool with music with loud bass starting at 8am. Lots of families here. The other hotel we stayed at in Antigua was much better. Location was a little less central compared to other alternatives as well.

I booked the hotel for the reason of my VIP status. When checking in I was told we’d receive a complimentary drink or snack plate. However, when retrieving it they did not honor the snack plate. This was disappointing as I do not drink. Many workers brushed me off and I unfortunately could not find the woman who checked me in and mentioned the snack plate. There was no recourse or apologies made.

The hotel has built an excellent service culture among the team members. Each and every team member provided a friendly greeting and responded to our needs in an efficient and courteous way. There were holiday activities for the children. Overall I highly recommend this excellent hotel!

Both mornings of my stay, workers started cutting wood with an electric saw inside the area at 0730. I complained to the front desk and was issued the standard apology but the next morning it was the same. When I checked out I asked to speak to the manager in charge, after a wait of approximately 10 Minutes with no manager appearing or no other personnel coming forth with an explanation, I left. Lots of wait staff in the restaurant but well trained in ignoring clients. My overall experience was very poor.

The property is beautiful, however the staff is not that friendly and the service is very slow. They seemed mad every time we tried to redeem the free drink or asked for late check out. I had to show them the perks offered. For this price range you can stay in a hotel with better service and whit better VIP perks.

This is one of the overall nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. Everything is beautiful, from the landscaping to the Mountain Views to the two swimming pools to the rooms. When I booked, I thought the price was a bit high for Central America, but when you get there you realize it’s worth it. I didn’t pay for the breakfast, but there are lots of places around to eat.

His property is extremely beautiful and it's in the perfect area because it's walkable to all the parts of town that you're going to want to be in. From high-end restaurants to hole in the wall coffee shops that are run by Mom and Pop, This is an amazing City to visit.

This is a great location in a beautiful building. Actually, buildings since there are three separate parts to the hotel. We stayed in the smaller one that had great gardens and a smaller pool. But, it’s connected to the main hotel by a túnel so it’s convenient. The staff was great and the breakfast buffet (not included for us) was worth it. And the main square of Antigua is only a short walk away. We will be back!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! Sad I didn’t get to take advantage of everything My wife and I both got food poisoning from the hotel restaurant however. It was very expensive, food wasn’t great and of course paying to get sick isn’t fun. Other then that it was great

This property exceeded my expectations! The room was so comfortable & had a fire place that staff lit for us every night. The food for breakfast, lunch, & dinner was amazing and authentic. I had the best massage I’ve ever had in my life at the spa. We booked an incredible excursion with the concierge desk that was a highlight of our trip. The staff was so kind and attentive, and if all of that isn’t enough, you’re walking distance from everything you could imagine experiencing in the beautiful Antigua. I would book this hotel over and over again!
