This is a very beautiful and quiet property. The service is excellent. Two wonderful pools. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It has a free shuttle every hour to Antigua, but also very walkable to the centre.

My experience at hotel soleil wasn’t pleasant. I’m not the one to leave negative reviews but this time I thought I share my experience. Sauna area was not clean and had a funky smell. The jacuzzi looked old and outdated, didn’t enjoy it at all. I had ordered food from the pool side restaurant but wasn’t satisfied with the food quality. So I have decided to order food from a local restaurant but when I went to pick it up at the lobby I was held by security who told me food from outside wasn’t allowed in property. Then I was confronted by the manager, I literally felt like a little kid being scolded it was terrible! I couldn’t wait to check out. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Breakfast was great! Pools were great! Travelled with 2 yo plenty of activities for him between play ground, trampoline and pools. Rooms spacious! We would definitely return. Resort was undergoing construction/maintenance but this did not bother us one bit. Not being able to bring food in didn’t bother us either.

The staff was great overall, very professional and attentive. For the price, we weren't too happy about the following few inconveniences: - Ice machine was always broken - Bath leaked (no bath tub, just a glass door that didn't contain all the water when showering causing the water to leak into the entrance of the room) - Kidney pool was under maintenance (ok, since the semi-olympic pool was open. - They give you a bracelet to wear for no real reason because they require you to bring this flimsy piece of paper to the pools and sauna to rent towels, not sure what the purpose of wearing this bracelet is) - Gym is fine, it's what you'd expect at a hotel (dumbells to 50lbs, no pull up bar, small, mostly cardio machines) - Sauna wasn't hot enough

Amazing property. Plenty of parking, easy access. It is a bit noisy from the street noise but nothing to be concerned with. Rooms were extremely clean, housekeeping was done daily and they did a great job. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. Would recommend it to anyone.

If you are looking for a place to rest in peace and quiet, don’t come to Solei. Solei is more like a party hotel. They have weddings on the weekends with loud music and guests coming and going to their rooms all night. On Sunday they had music on the pool all day which we could hear from our rooms, it could be fun if that’s what you’re looking for. The hotel is clean and beautiful don’t get me wrong! Just not what I was looking for. The cleaning staff was extremely helpful and nice.

The facilities are nice but the hotel is very neglected; the bathroom towels were in poor condition and in the room there are infestations of ants, cockroaches and other insects in the bed. At the time of check out I took the insects to the lobby and it took about 29 minutes for someone to assist me. I had a very bad experience during my stay. I do not recommend this hotel, it is not worth it.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel – it absolutely surpassed all my expectations! The property is enormous and beautifully maintained. I had no idea it’s actually the largest hotel in Antigua, and it truly feels grand in every way. The hotel itself was fine, it was clean, had beautiful grounds and a few restaurants. The negatives, none of which had to do with the hotel or staff doing any wrong, were that the hotel is a bit far from the centre of town on a very busy road for about a 10 minute walk. Also the room was very dark. All rooms that I could see were dark, it was part of the original hotel design which has not been updated.

Hotel rooms are out dated. Water pressure and temperature was horrible not to mention bathroom shower head was tilted towards a set direction making it impossible to shower. Rooms have a musty odor. One good thing is the location of hotel was walking distance from everything.

Horrible experience at the dining area. They don't let you bring outside food yet expect you to wait over an hour for a burger. Had issues with plumbing smelling like fecal matter everytime we ran sink water. Overall, it's a decent place if they can work on staff at the dining hall and if they could work on reservation staff at the front.

This hotel is perfect. My family and I had an issue with a different reservation which I had to immediately cancel. We found this hotel and the front desk employees were professional and amazing. The rooms were great. The hotel has their own restaurants and bar. All employees that we interacted with were very polite and professional. Also, there is a shopping center about 3 minutes from the hotel and it also has a supermarket. Highly recommend.

The property is gorgeous, flowers and plants are mixed right into all areas. It's very well taken care of and the staff was amazing! They ensured that we were well taken care of during our time at the property. Oh and they even have a few parrots on property! The only slight ding on this review is that one of the two pools was being renovated while we were there. However, during our 5 night stay they basically completed the pool renovations. La Soleil doesn't leave things in an unusable state for very long.

The amenities were not very clean and the noise was so loud at night from the pool we could not sleep – like all throughout the night. We felt grateful to only be here one night of our trip but would not stay again. Additionally, we called for early check in, arrived and were told to wait another hour. We checked back in and they told us we had to wait another two hours since a shower had broken so that was not ideal.

Beautiful property with pool, fitness facilities. Staff at the front desk is not very helpful though. We had reached half hour before check-in from international travel and they refused to let us into our rooms. Hotel itself is close enough to main city area but not loud.

Stannade en natt i Antigua och hade bokat hotellet i förväg. Enkelt att hitta med en bra parkering när man kom. Hotellet hade transport till centrum varje timme Rummen var lyhörda med dålig ljudisolering i fönster och dörrar med störande ljud från gatan. Vi bodde i markplan mot vägen med en mindre trädgård som utsikt vilket var fint. Säkert tystare i rummen mot bad området. Högljudda personer i korridoren hördes också väldigt väl. Fina utrymmen på hotellet med gott om servicevänlig personal och en bra frukost

The Soleil has a beautiful garden. Service was excellent. The location is a bit of a walk to Parque Central on a busy street. The bed linens were high-count cotton….slept really well. Breakfast buffet had numerous options including cook to order eggs. The price was very reasonable. I would stay there again.

This place was amazing and i enjoyed my stay . Staff was good , breakfast was off the chain. They offer transportation to and from the airport for 70us for 3 peoples. I hate the fact that we couldn’t get outfood or drink. I don’t think its fair .

El servicio al cliente es excelente, el buffet de desayuno tiene variedad. Las habitaciones muy limpias. Ofrecen transporte sin costo para el centro de Antigua. Lo único que podría mejorar es la variedad de comida para niños, viajamos con nuestra pequeña de 7 años pero no habían opciones de comida para ella, únicamente platos grandes por lo que el almuerzo y la cena lo hicimos fuera.

Minibar in the room was locked. Room keys did not work had to swap them twice. Complimetary coffee in the room was limited to the first night only on a multiple night stay. The bar had some liquor bottles prices 3 or 4 times over market value. The hotel is really nice, but for the price they are changing per room complimentary coffee and razors should be a norm. Charging for these items made it felt cheap as if we were nickeled and dimed for everything.

Great service, unfortunately due to day passes the amenities were too overcrowded, food is skittle overpriced- should allow other options and not restrict guest from bringing food. Aside from this, good staff, fast service, friendly.
