We had a wonderful stay at Porta Hotel del Lago! The lake and volcano views are spectacular, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the hotel is perfect for families with a great pool, beautiful grounds, and an excellent breakfast. Its location is ideal for exploring Panajachel and Lake Atitlán. While the rooms could use a bit of updating, they were clean and comfortable, and we would happily stay here again.

Everything was pretty nice in terms of amenities. They don’t have AC in most rooms but the fan kept us cool throughout the whole night.
