Amazing views right from your own room. Nice pool. This place is best if you want to be away from the busyness of town. Good food from their own restaurant. If you want more food options you'd need to ride a tuck-tuck to town.

First of all, I want to share that the property manager, Yvann, is amazing at what he does, and has one of the most pleasant and helpful personalities I've met in my travels through Lake Atitlan. He made sure to answer all questions and book transportation needed at different moments. Having said that, the hotel is a bit out of the way and has very thin walls for you light sleepers. You will start hearing roosters, dogs and traffic at 5AM VERY loudly and also hear all your neighbors' conversations, including when they cough, sneeze or use the toilet. On top of that, there's an AirB&B next door that hosts parties every so often and felt they were in my bathroom until The views of the lake are amazing and I loved the soaking tub. There is no A/C in the rooms but there I a breeze that comes in if you leave your doors open, just have mosquito spray ready. The restaurant and breakfast experience was my favorite. Dinner menu is pricey. There is a daily happy hour and sitting area for that. You need to be able to go up & down several flights of stairs to stay here. Pool was dirty and not swimmable. There is no direct access to the lake from here. Area is not walkable. Ok for a short stay (1-2 nights) for couples that need to rest and not do much and don't mind noisy evenings.

Fabulous views of the lake. Loved having a drink at the bar enjoying the views. Delicious breakfast. Very helpful staff. They organised transport and a trip for us.

The staff were amazing. I felt like I was a guest at my families house. Everything we needed was made so easy. The hotel has a driver they use for their tuk-tuk rides so you do not have to pay an excessive amount. The drive is friendly and always made us feel safe being in a new place. We had gotten couple massages, which were relaxing and much needed after our hike. The hotel even helped us with transportation back to Guatemala City. Everyone we encountered was kind and welcoming. The staff really stood out to me. The rooms were cozy and clean. I will say that some spiders got in through the cracks, but that is to be expected due to the location. We had a fresh pitcher of water given to us each day. The food served at the hotel restaurant was good. I would stay at this hotel again and again.

Clean rooms, gorgeous hotel with a lovely pool. Amazing staff; I was able to get my shoes cleaned here along with my laundry. The breakfast is good and we are at the Syrian restaurant they have in the hotel (also amazing). They have two cute cats roaming around and amazing drinks at the bar. The biggest perk is probably the tuktuk driver Lino, who you can message for a ride when necessary (7 am to 7 pm usually). Staff always helps with your luggage and were so helpful. I checked out before breakfast and the had some yogurt, fruit and granola put aside for me to take in the morning.

This hotel was amazing! My husband and I are typically budget travels but booked this as a treat for Valentines Day and loved the property. They have an amazing view, great happy hour and awesome staff.

Our room was a fabulous yurt that had gorgeous view of Lake Atitlan and the volcanoes there. The grounds had lovely plants and flowers. There was no outlet to the lake but a pool instead. This was not totally clear in the readings I did about the property. They had a wonderful bar and restaurant for breakfast, snacks and dinner. Santa Catarina is a short Tuk Tuk drive away or you can walk about 15 minutes like we did.

Amazing location with views over the lake and volcanoes to die for. Particularly true at and after sunset. The room we were staying at (Armadillo) was very comfortable, a bit on the smaller side but perfect for 2 people, with a nice balcony. Breakfast was tasty (only one option - traditional chapin breakfast - that's included in the room rate, and a few other paid for options). The team is very friendly and helpful. Wifi works usually well, although may require a bit juggling of multiple networks. 5 parking spots available. Nice pool area in the lower part of the property, although we didn't use it much (pool is not heated).

An amazing hillside property overlooking the lake. Our yurt was high up near the gate and we did a lot of climbing up and down to swim, use the sauna and eat and drink. With a few improvements and repairs this property will fully shine!

It could have been a great hotel but it is not clean. Our sheets were dirty. It was really cold and no way to get extra blankets. Staff did not arrive until 7:45 am to begin breakfast. As a tourist, it is important to get an early start to the day. We were locked in without access to management until 7:45.

My husband and I loved our stay at Jenna's River B&B! The property and the views were so beautiful, I could not stop taking pictures. We loved relaxing on our private patio as well as in the open air bar and open air restaurant. Service was friendly and accommodating. Others have made comments about the stairs. Yes, there are a lot of stairs because the entire property is on a steep hill. I was also concerned about the comfort of the bed and bugs in the room, as that had also been mentioned in a review. My husband and I slept comfortably and housekeeping cleaned the room and changed the bedding every day. We saw one or two small bugs in the bathroom, but I see bugs like that in my own home from time to time, so I didn't see that as a big deal at all. This hotel also provided us with a pitcher of filtered water in our room every day. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we will definitely stay here again when we return to Guatemala!

The view here is great and Yvan the manager was ever so helpful in helping us navigate the lake and set up excursions. He helped us arrange a village tour by tuk tuk, paragliding and a sunrise hike at Indian Nose! Unfortunately, the rooms were not as clean as we would have liked and the dinner service was disappointing (food lacked flavor, servers were not attentive/kind and this was the priciest meal in our entire trip). The breakfast was much better, though. P.S. the entire property shares 1 hair dryer. I learned the hard way! :)

Jenna's B&B was an excellent place to stay! The views here of the lake and the volcanoes were so beautiful and the place truly felt like home. Our villa was comfortable and clean. We were provided with fresh linens and fresh water daily. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL! Yvan and Andrea really helped us get our plans organized and helped us get around to the different towns, making plans for us while we were there. They are both extremely communicative and friendly and without a doubt helped to maximize our experience. I don't know what I would have done without them! Norbert, who was a member of the staff as well was the sweetest and most accommodating. He went above and beyond for us during our stay. The food at Jenna's is also a 10/10. We had breakfast and dinner there during our stay and enjoyed the well flavored, delicious meals. When I return to Lake Atitlan I will definitely be looking forward to staying here again. Now that I am back home I am missing waking up to the breathtaking views while enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee on a chilly morning.

Here is my honest feedback the good and the bad. I was absolutely excited to stay in this property seeing the photos online. When arriving the first thing I noticed was the view. The staff member was very kind when we checked in and gave us a map and contacted a tuk tuk for us as this property you can not get to Panajachel actual hot spots unless you get in a tuk tuk which is 20 q for one person or multiple 15 q per ride. Now let’s get into what turned this into a horrible experience. Our bedroom was not clean at all! I am honestly not even a complaining type of person and the first night I texted if their would be cleaning service as I gave the benefit of the doubt. That is until I woke up to bugs in my bed, a black scorpion spider in the tub, and on the ceiling light a thick spider web that you can tell has been there forever. We stayed up all night killing bugs. One day we were coughing so much from the dust and bugs that we ended up feeling sick and not going into town. The cleaning service came and she was in and out the room in less than 5 minutes and the tub still had dead mosquitos and bugs. I’m very disappointed also eventhough 15 q is cheap if added up having to go back and forth as for a couple it was 30 q each time. The breakfast was good but the same everyday for the included option. Coffee, beans, fruit, eggs, tortillas. They had pancakes etc option but that was 65 q if you wanted. The room walls are thin you can hear everyone’s convos nearby.

The location is fantastic. The rooms were spotless. But the staff went far and above their serviced requirements. Courteous, friendly, and good natured. Wonderful place to estay.

This place went over our expectation. Great staff, clean rooms & facility, healthy breakfast options, and overall awesome atmosphere and the most important one is the awesome views of the lake and volcano. Thank you all!

Beautiful location, friendly & helpful staff. Clean rooms with great bedding. Yummy breakfast. Jaguar yurt was small for family of 4 (2 adults & 2 grown kids). Main BR good, but nowhere to sit in room to hang out (it was rainy when we wete there). Location out of town, but view is amazing. Easy to get tuk tuk to town.

We have a great time views staff and breakfast were excellent however mattress could use an upgrade, doors should have a shade for privacy also for the sunlight, a better mirror the one in our bathroom you can barely see yourself there’s a lot of stairs so keep that in mind

I couldn't have asked for a better view of the lake! This hotel also offers a generous breakfast included, a restaurant where you can eat until 8 PM, Tuktuk service, and organized tours. There's also a small library where you can borrow books. My room had a very comfortable bed and a bathtub with a window overlooking the lake. The only thing missing are curtains to darken the sunlight that enters at dawn and to ensure more privacy. Definitely recommended.

The food at the restaurant was so good! We chose to eat there every night instead of venturing out, we wanted to try everything on the menu! Happy hour at the bar was super fun. Definitely will recommend this magical place in the mountainside. We ventured out to Panajachel to catch a boat to the other towns along the lake, take an atv tour and went zip lining at the nature preserve. The staff at Jenna’s had great recommendations and were so helpful setting up transportation and reservations.

Other options (yoghurt, etc.chargeable and very pricey, same as all restaurant menu). Outside the town, but accessible easily by tuk tuk. Rooms have bathtub from which you can enjoy the view. Staff very helpful and accessible. Rooms and amenitites a bit outdated, but functional. I find this place to be on expensive side as per local standards.

First… you cannot get a better view it is gorgeous. The staff are wonderful and helpful. That being said… our yurt did not have screens on the windows and the room had to fans or AC of any kind. We went to the local appliance shop and bought one. Some of our windows did not lock and there was no safe so that was sketchy. The food is okay but not the best.

The staff, dinner, and view at Jenna's were great. We really enjoyed that aspect. And we liked there was hot water. The hotel itself could use some love - it is dated and looking old. There are large 2-3 inch gaps under the door and it was very cold in the mornings. The internet did not work well, sometimes not at all, in the rooms. Stairs could all use some repairs and paint. Unfortunately our room was right below the bar and I assume it appeared to be friends of the staff that were quite loud for hours 2 of our 3 nights there (this did quiet down at posted time of 9 so that was appreciated but did detract from relaxing or working in our rooms). Overall the view and dinner were what made our stay enjoyable.

Great customer service! Left some things behind and Yvan made reuniting with them in Antigua possible!! 100% recommend!!

Staff very helpful in planning any event you want to do in the area! Sit you down and provide a map of the lake and some attractions. They were an immense help providing a shuttle service from the pacific coast for us when we couldn’t find any service to come get us.

Yvan the manager was absolutely phenomenal. He took care of us from the time we buzzed in after the private car drove us from Antigua and booked every minute of our stay from the time we woke up to bed time. He made all transportation arrangements and even paid less than half the price for a premium driver back to the Guatemala airport. He arranged the best meals. Constantly had drinks and food delivered to our room amd last but not least on last day extended our stay till 4 pm so we could book the 90 min reflexology and 2 hour massages. Ok I have to admit that him growing up near me north of Montreal Quebec and speaking several languages fluent didn’t hurt. Oh we sampled some of the best IPA ever. My wife and I cannot wait to call Yvan to set up another trip. We even invited him to our house in Tampa for his next vacation. What a great place but it takes a great leader to make it happen. He treats his staff very well and we arranged for everyone on the facilities, including the kitchen staff and the room cleaners to get a proper tip. And Yvan made all the arrangements with them directly without having to stop by a single ATM. 5 star service in Panajachel Guatemala. Now that was a new one for me having been there for the past 35 years. It grew quite a bit. I recommend reconsidering hiking St Pedro Volcano alone in less than 5 hours which we did 12 miles of climbing that day on our watches. Maybe go slower or learn that we are getting a bit older. naturally: ⸻ The staff here are truly exceptional—especially bartender Fede, manager Andrea, and Stephanie. They went above and beyond to be flexible and accommodating during an excruciating personal time for me, and I’ll never forget their kindness. The place itself is a total respite, offering unobstructed views of the volcano and lake—absolutely breathtaking, million-dollar views at an affordable price. The Lebanese cuisine is excellent, a refreshing and delicious break from the local fare. Combine that with outstanding service, and you have the perfect escape.

I never write reviews but this place was exceptional. Incredible views. The staff were above and beyond. More than accommodating with English, provided contacts and translations for transportation and recommendations of places to see. The food was excellent. Truly a wonderful stay.

You will not find a better place to stay in Panajachel. Seriously amazing staff, food, view is off the charts. The dedicated Tuk Tuk driver was the best we had anywhere in the country. Highly recommend Jenna’s. We will be back!

Spectacular volcano view from the dining area, bar and casitas at the top of the vertical property which steeply drops down the lush mountainside from the road above. You’re in nature here, just a short Tuk Tuk ride away from the bustle of Panajachel.

Great location a little ways away from Panajachel town. The views of Lake Atitlan from our patio was incredible. Accomodation was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the frijoles! The staff (including the kitchen staff) was very attentive. Mari and Ivan were quick to respond to our queries and requests.

Beautiful views in the morning. Great breakfast with incredibly kind staff. They also have their own Tuk Tuk that can take you down to the boat area to see the other villages or down into the town for only 15 Quetzales a person - or its about a 30 minute walk.

Such a beautiful spot! It is well worth being a little outside of town to have such a lovely place. And it is very easy and quick to get to the main streets of Panajachel and the docks from here - 10 mins or less and they have a Tuktuk driver you can text to come get you!

Big thanks to the manager, Yvan. Without him, we would be totally lost. He managed our tuk-tuk transportation to Panajachel and ordered our trips with a travel agency. Otherwise, unfortunately, I was disappointed. We bought the room/jurt because of the Lake Atitlan view promised in the description. Our room didn't have ANY view of Lake Atitlan!!! The place is not within walking distance from the city of Panajachel. Get ready to pay extra money for each transportation to the town and back. I understood it was a rustic area, but the room wasn't worth the money we paid.

An excellent location to say especially if we are lucky enough to get one of the rooms higher up which have better views. Although some distance from town, transport is usually available within 10 minutes. Coffee and a small fridge in the room would make the stay even better.

A wonderfully relaxing place to stay. Super staff - very responsive and helpful. Incredible middle eastern cuisine - best we've eaten outside the mideast. Great location from which to explore Lago Atitlan.

Jenna’s is in a magical setting on the side of a hill with a great view of the lake and volcanoes. The front desk folks were incredibly helpful in getting Tuktuks to town and transport to Antigua coordinated. We had the pre fixe dinner which was delicious. I would recommend bringing a beanie and a fleece jacket as mornings on the lake can be a little chilly.
