Has a great time at this property with my mother and my sisters. The staff were all super friendly and very helpful. The beach was beautiful in spite of us going on a few rainy days due to hurricane Melisa. The pools and swim up bars were the best! The drinks were very tasty and the swim up bars were never crowded. I highly suggest tipping everywhere because the staff get paid very low salaries and because they are super friendly and the food and drinks were all excellent. Hibachi and NOOR were ere our favorite restaurants but we didn't try any restaurants on the Dreams side. We did go to the gym and water park at Dreams and that was great. Dreams is right next to door and adults at Secrest have full access to dreams. Even though dreams is right next door, they must have designed it in a specific way because e never heard anything from that side, but when we would walk over to dreams they had a more lively vibe and its music and list of games and entertainment happening at their pool. Overall an excellent vacation. I already looked my next trip for December. ******make sure to take cash for tipping and tip at the bar a and restaurants. There hard work and excellent service will make u regret if you don't have cash******

All I can say is that I will be back! This is my third time in the DR, and I couldn’t be more impressed with this 100-out-of-100 resort. It offers delicious premium food and a private beach. It's worth the money you pay for the Enclave, as you get premium access and drinks. The best part is that most aquatic sports are included with your stay.

Very impressed by this resort. The beach was better than expected, the pictures online do no justice. The grounds are super clean. The food was great we loved the selection. And the Cinolas beach restaurant was so romantic great food. The pools are stunning. This is a great resort to relax. Only downside would be lack of pool side entertainment, no music playing and not much activities for young adults but I would absolutely come back!

Overall, as an adult only resort, the place is excellent is very quiet for those of us that are looking for peaceful retreat for from our busy lives. The only complaints I have is that the parking availability for the adults only is very limited so innocence you have to park in the family parking lot and walk across the resorts. It’s a little new ones not a big deal but it still it’s like take away from the experience. The other thing that I would complained about is basically how stingy the staff was about giving me one of those beach totes that they offer to to customers. We were two people in my room and they gave us only one bag indicating that it was only one bag per room even though there’s two beds and two people so when I asked for one, they asked me to pay $30, USA dollars for a bag that is made out of canvas probably in China for like five cents at the most. And that level stinginess threw me off completely. But other than that, the place is nice. The beach is a little rocky at the entrance, but it’s manageable. The food choices are limited, but they’re good food choices for a very short stay perfect to just relax and decompress hop on a plane and return back to your busy lives.

Overall we had a great experience. As a suggestion: 1. Rooms need to be cleaned more thoroughly, e.g. dust, floor cleaning. 2. Smoking Section on the Adults Only side needs to be moved towards the pool area. 3. Towel Changing station also needs to be moved closer to the pull side.

The place was definitely clean — in fact, everywhere smelled of bleach. But I can’t say enough about how terrible the food was — by far the worst food we’ve ever experienced. And I booked this spot because the reviews mentioned how great the food was. Even the fruit wasn’t good, and the Caribbean always has great fruit. I mean the fish was mush — which makes no sense given where we were! I resorted to eating rolls with butter and cucumber slices for lunch most days. I could go on and on about the food but I’ll share some positivity. The beach was beautiful! Overall the facilities need a good updating but that’s pretty typical these days and not a dealbreaker (again, because it was overall clean). Take it from me, if you enjoy decent food (at a minimum) particularly on vacation, book elsewhere!

When requesting any service they are not professional, the food in the specialized restaurants is average or bad, the staff in the bars, cafes and restaurants are friendly and attentive, the beach is good, the pools are very clean, the room was not clean when we received it, they cleaned it well afterwards.

Um dos pontos que me surpreendeu positivamente foi a limpeza. Os banheiros eram todos muito limpos e os restaurantes também. Sempre que entrávamos nos restaurantes, nos questionavam se tínhamos alergias e ofereciam álcool gel. Ficamos bastante tempo, comemos de tudo e não pegamos nenhuma virose de praia. A estrutura era boa (praia, muitas cadeiras disponíveis, muitos restaurantes, parque aquático perfeito, toalhas, piscinas, passeios turísticos, spa, casino, lojas, cafeterias). Mesmo sem ser “enclave”, conseguimos aproveitar. Mas é interessante ir sabendo do “enclave”, porque eles oferecem. Pontos negativos foi que sentimos falta de arroz branco (típico da culinária Brasileira). Tinha morcegos em cima do forro do nosso quarto que faziam barulho à noite (recomendo não ficar no último andar). No último dia, fomos abordados pelos vendedores do The Playa Club que tomaram muito tempo nosso (justo no último dia). Por fim, a camareira não recolocava todos os produtos do banheiro e do frigobar (só quando eu pedia). Fora isso, vale a pena visitar o resort (nota 8,5).

1) walls are so thin that you can hear everything in the room next door. And I mean EVERYTHING. 2) The staff speaks close to zero English, not able to understand and address basic questions and needs. 3) The beach is small and not nearly as nice as other surrounding beaches 4) The food quality is so bad that we preferred to skip meals.

My husband and I went on vacation together. It was an unforgettable holiday. The room was very beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Whenever we had questions, everyone did their best to help. The food, both in the restaurants and buffets, was excellent—always fresh and delicious. The pools were very clean, and the sea was simply amazing: no waves, crystal-clear water. The beaches weren’t very large, but they were very comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this resort!

Yes everything was good,in except the bathroom.we couldn’t used it because the toilet was not working. I complained to person who is in charge with,but they she didn’t pay attention to me. Overall it was good experience, we’ve been to this hotel 2nd time, but I must say, 6 years ago it was wonderful, now just good. The grounds and beach are the best (the water is the most beautiful), food was just fine, we liked the most the service and food at Grill. For the things we don’t like was our room (it had had some stains on the floor on both sides of the bed, something was spilled, and when communicated it - they just advised that that’s the kind of floor and they are not able to clean it; I was checking in on my birthday and have told this was reason for our vacation, but the check-in person only cared to sell us upgrade or „premium club” special, hadn’t received a simple „happy birthday” etc while walking around the hotel noticed a lot of rooms were having the „happy birthday” „happy anniversary „ etc banners on the doors.

When requesting any service they are not professional, the food in the specialized restaurants is average or bad, the staff in the bars, cafes and restaurants are friendly and attentive, the beach is good, the pools are very clean, the room was not clean when we received it, they cleaned it well afterwards.

We loved this hotel. It is a beautiful resort on a very nice beach. The service in all its areas was great because the whole staff was very nice. However, I would like to comment about a group of employees who really made the difference for being extremely polite, helpful and very accommodating. They were Bianca Guzman, Yameli Bello, Luz Mary Perez and Dany Acosta all from the Caoba Restaurant, Sauri Santana and Yeifri Jean (bartenders) and Ernesto Ortega from the enterteintment team.What a nice group of employees!!! Generally good, but a few significant problems. * no enforcement of "no smoking". Multiple people smoking vapes and cigarettes at the pools every day. No enforcement by staff and it was obvious to smell. All kinds of staff walked by without doing anything. * Staff "marketing" in the lobby. Guys who harass you to sign up for a 90 minute class for some coupon or something like that. You end up trying to avoid the main lobby at all cost because you're going to be harassed by some aggressive "marketing" person every time they see you. You paid for a relaxing resort, but you're being bugged to watch something like a time-share presentation all the time - yuck. * aggressive cigar and jewelry sales on main pathways. Again, they generally make the campus unpleasant to be at. * did not honor my shellfish allergy at the sushi restaurant and brought out a shrimp nigiri on my plate. I am not deathly allergic to shellfish so it was no big deal but this is a serious problem. * all prices listed everywhere on the resort are in USD, but then when it's time to check out and the bill comes it's in DOP, so it makes it hard to validate that the bill is correct. I made the staff adjust the DOP to USD and it seemed OK, but for example, we did two excursions for $30 each, but then, a few days later, when I asked her to convert the DOP to USD on the bill it was $61. That was the case for every line item and then the total bill in DOP was converted to USD. Am I paying extra for conversion?

I have to be honest our stay was good, Service was excellent, food was better than great. Miguel José is an excellent employee., treated us well and was very sweet. We were given a room which was also great. BUT treatment at checkin was very impersonal. We were told that we could use all facilites except Enclave. But was not told that the Pool which was accessible from the balcony of our room was prohibited for us. And on our second day at the hotel we were removed from the Pool in very, very unpleasant way by a person named Teodoro. We are humanas and make mistakes… (I guess he has not been told that) We entered the Pool through our room and told him so. We used the Pool on the first day. We never saw the signs. We usually book our stays in preferred clubs, but since this was a short stay we did not even notice you had this option available. I feel it was because my husband is Dominican and I Puerto Rican we were treated like bandits or people without money. We are good people and are very well off. We vacation in your country 3 to 4 times a year and always stay at good hotels. Had it not been for this incident our stay would have been 5 out of 5. My husband wants to return but I have serious doubts. We are planning family trip for my 75th birthday next year. My daughter’s loved the Pictures we sent about the food and facilites. I will let them know when we return Home.

It was a very relaxing and fun vacation. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. My only issue was that they need more staff for the restaurants . At the Grill, I had to wait about 25 minutes before anyone came to offer us water. It took well over an hour to get our food. This was all around in each restaurant. Other than that, it was a great experience.

The location of this property is beautiful and amazing! We have traveled a lot of places with beaches but this is one of our favorites! Food was also amazing with so many different choices for food. Butler option was amazing with coolers set up everyday on the beach along with fruit delivered to our chairs daily.

Overall, as an adult only resort, the place is excellent is very quiet for those of us that are looking for peaceful retreat for from our busy lives. The only complaints I have is that the parking availability for the adults only is very limited so innocence you have to park in the family parking lot and walk across the resorts. It’s a little new ones not a big deal but it still it’s like take away from the experience. The other thing that I would complained about is basically how stingy the staff was about giving me one of those beach totes that they offer to to customers. We were two people in my room and they gave us only one bag indicating that it was only one bag per room even though there’s two beds and two people so when I asked for one, they asked me to pay $30, USA dollars for a bag that is made out of canvas probably in China for like five cents at the most. And that level stinginess threw me off completely. But other than that, the place is nice. The beach is a little rocky at the entrance, but it’s manageable. The food choices are limited, but they’re good food choices for a very short stay perfect to just relax and decompress hop on a plane and return back to your busy lives.

Preferred access was not checked at the pool, drink service was inconsistent, and cocktails were similar across all areas. Access to Mare for lunch was not a benefit, as it served the weakest food on the property. The preferred lounge, however, was excellent, largely thanks to Junior and Wander, who provided outstanding service and cocktails. Dress code enforcement was inconsistent. I was refused service at the coffee bar for wearing a crop top and shorts, despite seeing other guests dressed more casually in both restaurants and preferred areas on multiple occasions. This was uncomfortable and poorly handled. Food quality overall was mixed. Noor offered good service and Sakura was decent, with staff often compensating for the food. Housekeeping staff were consistently friendly and professional. The beach is very small with limited walkability due to rocks and debris, though the sunsets and water are beautiful. Overall, this was our weakest accommodation across eleven properties during a month long trip, improved only by the service in the preferred lounge.

And I booked this spot because the reviews mentioned how great the food was. Even the fruit wasn’t good, and the Caribbean always has great fruit. I mean the fish was mush — which makes no sense given where we were! I resorted to eating rolls with butter and cucumber slices for lunch most days. I could go on and on about the food but I’ll share some positivity. The beach was beautiful! Overall the facilities need a good updating but that’s pretty typical these days and not a dealbreaker (again, because it was overall clean). Take it from me, if you enjoy decent food (at a minimum) particularly on vacation, book elsewhere!

I would like to highlight several aspects of my terrible experience at the Hilton: 1. The food in all the themed restaurants was inedible: tough, flavorless and inedible meats, little variety of fish with a bad smell and taste, and in general a lack of attention in the preparation of the food. 2. The worst New Year's Eve dinner of my life; an event manager recommended that we dine on the beach for an extra cost of $165... What a horrible experience: grilled meats that were even tougher and inedible, lousy seafood, and the promised lobster that was inedible because it was so hard. Unfortunately, bad hands. 3. Passivity, poor service, and lack of empathy from the staff and customer service on the part of the hotel.

This resort was absolutely beautiful, the staff were friendly & kind from the minute you get there and even till the last moments you are there leaving. The beach was my absolute favorite part of the property, the water was clearer than the pool, no exaggeration. I will like to make a comment on the food, I disliked every restaurant BUT the cafe/buffet. The cafe & buffet had a lot of good food & different variety. The “restaurants” I felt tried too hard to make up fancy menus and being from the USA I felt the food choices were a mess and not tasty at all. If you like seasoned food & and even cultured Hispanic food, ur cafe & buffet will be your fav choice of dining. If you are younger & looking for a turned up resort, with hip hop music or any kind of party music & feel, this isn’t the place for you. The music is very much elevator music & it’s more of a relaxing environment. Just something to keep in mind. However I loved my stay here & I would come again.
