Clean room, food excellent, good variety, issue building 7 with elevators. I was eventually moved to the first floor as I am handicapped and unable to clin the stairs. Staff very helpful.

The super clean room, the staff very ate to and willing to help in everything possible to your needs, and the balcony a spectacular view.. As for the air conditioning of the excellence room, I think there is a lack of fan in the sport bar in the coffee area and more entertainment both day and night

Check in was fast and easy. So was checkout. Resort was clean. "Upgraded" our room only to be in a building with no working elevator for the entire week we were here, and we were on the 4th floor!!! Food was ok. Some drinks were good others not. Some staff warmed up to us, but most were very dry and not friendly, but seems it's a Punta Cana thing.

Overall, we had a good time. However, the facilities are somewhat shabby. All the metal is rusty (likely due to the high humidity), the towels need to be replaced, the screen in the theatre desperately needs to be fixed, and everything looks like it needs a deep clean. We also had to contact maintenance three times due to the sewage smell in the drains. They rectified at each time, but it was unfortunate to have to deal with that. You will read a lot of mixed reviews about the food, which is understandable. Overall, it wasn’t bad, you will always find something you can eat. You will also read reviews saying that staff were not friendly and others saying they are. All those reviews are right, some are and some aren’t. The pools are incredible, the beach is lovely, and the entertainment fun. We had a wonderful family stay at the hotel. The food and beverage options were excellent, and the sleep quality was outstanding. The property is beautiful, and our kids especially loved the pool slides and the kids club. Overall, a great experience. We’d happily return!

Towels were old and gray. Disgusting, not only would I not use them to dry my dog, I would not use them to dry my car. They were literally rags, I just don’t get it. They are very pushy trying to get you to join their membership. Even after telling the guy Edwardo that we were not interested in purchasing anything. They are body snatchers. 2 hours of our lives we will never get back. Staff however were amazing and very accommodating.

There was a very strong bad smell around the property that would make me want to throw up literally. Lots of mosquitoes. Especially in the elevator . Poor hygiene at the Buffet area. There were birds eating the pastries and bread . There were flies covering the desserts. They should find a way to jeep all the food covered . Anyways , I endep up with a bug in my stomach . I couldn’t eat. Some of the restrooms were in bad condition . The only thing positive about this property was that is definitely a kids friendly property . I wouldn’t come back .

My wife and I stayed at Serenade Punta Cana for four days, and overall we had a good experience. From the moment we arrived, we received great service: Ronni took excellent care of us at check-in, and all the floor staff were always friendly, attentive, and willing to help. The facilities are nice, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the overall service was satisfactory. However, we do want to highlight an important negative point: during the four days we stayed there, we saw cockroaches in the buffet area every single day. It was uncomfortable and should be addressed urgently to maintain the quality and hygiene of the establishment. Aside from that issue, everything else was very good, and we truly appreciated the staff’s attention.

I stayed here for 6 days. The property is lovely and well maintained. Staff are all very nice, although sometimes a language barrier as I don’t know Spanish but I made due. Beautiful and nice and open lobby/lounge area, check went smoothly. Our room was great, lots of space. Only issues we had were the bathroom was not private. There was a glass window in the shower part and you can easily see in, not something I would like when on vacation with my cousin or let alone those with children. We complained and they did put up a bedsheet to cover the window. There was construction outside our balcony so not the best view but we weren’t in our room that much in the daytime. The door needed to be fixed and we asked but nothing was done about it. The beach isn’t far at all and there are lots of lounge chairs there to choose from. We tried the steakhouse and Italian restaurant, both were delicious and the service was great. The main buffet for meals was also great, lots of choices and everything was made there which was amazing! Lots of families and couples at this resort. If I was to go again I would choose the adults only part of the resort to stay at. Overall a great experience and would go back.

Room had several maintenance issues. It had plumbing issues where shower and toilet both leaked water and kept the floor wet all the time. Ceiling began leaking on last day. We let the front desk know but no one came that we know of. Also - if you have a swim up room, just know that it can be loud because the room pools are shared - it’s not your own personal pool. Overall, it’s clear these are older rooms that have lots of issues. We were also on the side where there is construction going on building a new resort next to us. So, our view out our back door was a construction fence.

Rooms were very clean and Ac was nice after a long day in the sun the mini bar was filled daily and the concordance of room service was perfect. 10/10 would absolutely return to this resort. Oh and the spa gave a very nice massage, the food was good and had a great selection!

It’s definitely a 3 start resort. The entire hotel had signs of wear and tear. All walls need paint, lots of mold on balconies, dirty pool and buffet chairs. Great all day & night entertainment, comfortable beds, good food with a bast variety for the 3 daily meals. Not impressed with the restaurants. Friendly staff. But no one took action to fix reported problems in the room. Check-in was extremely late and long! The staff made us Waste valuable time. Management did not appreciate nor apologize. Do not fall for the time share presentation. Extremely long not worth the “gift” Information vague, not straightforward and nothing in writing! They do not respect your vacation time. Supposed to he 45 min. But ended up being almost 4 hrs! Insane! When we asked for an apology NO one from management acknowledged our request to have at least a massage or a cabana for one day! The response to this comment will show the many excuses we heard. Staff passed the ball to their teams. Our time was not respected. Very friendly entertainment team. Very hard working people! Let me start by saying the staff was friendly and wonderful. Guest services was not as great and not helpful to problems that arose. My AC was out 4 days of my stay before they assisted and attempted to fix the problem. I was offered another room, but declined because it was ultimately a downgrade I was told management would be in touch with me to offer me some kind of compensation, it’s been a few weeks and everyone stopped following up with me and no compensation was given. The professionalism at guest services and the reception area was poor, and the lack of communicating was even worse. I would have given a good review and recommended the serenade, however after paying full price for a non-functioning room with no compensation or communication to make things right I would recommend Not booking here. The elevators were also down several times throughout several days in several different buildings, making it difficult for anyone with the disability.

The hotel itself was fine. It was clean. The pool areas, bars and the beach were also fine. My biggest issues were with the restaurant staff. When the reviews say hospitality is bad, thats an understatement. Ive never heard the word "NO" so many times without an added explanation while vacationing in my whole entire life. It was so bad, my friend and i asked for soup after we placed our dinner order. The waiter must've misunderstood and bought back one bowl of soup. We then asked for another and was told "NO" and we must share....seriously was not delivered another bowl of soup. That was just one incident ourt of many. I assume telling guest "NO" is the inside joke and/or culture of the staff. So much eye rolling, grunts and side talk when asking for the simplest of things. Also forget habachi reservations. Its almost easier hitting the lottery. Also, dont fall for the package upgrade for premium beverages. Those drinks are for pay only. This was found out after paying 500 extra for basically nothing. With this said. The vip conceige (i forget his name) was very accommodating but pretty much other than him and less than a handful of others, i cannot say i would recommend. The hotels price point is really not a good value. i prefer to pay more and receive my good service without a side of nasty attitude.

The staff is absolutely horrible. They argue with you back and forth on simple requests, that frankly aren't really up for debate. The rooms constantly flood with the showers and clogged toilets so you find yourself constantly using towels to dry it up. would requesting more towels not be the logical solution? And the clogged toilets that literally have nothing thrown in them, I asked them at 9pm before dinner please can someone come and fix this. I then finish dinner with my family around 11:30 and it's STILL not fixed. They keep saying they're on it RIGHT now and it's not right now. My family is with small children, were on a vacation celebrating a milestone birthday. We chose to spend our hard earned THOUSANDS on about 5 rooms and this is how they treat us? And their BS apology? A bottle of champagne and strawberries. Dude it's ALL INCLUSIVE. I'm eating and drinking for free why would I want more food and drink. They apparently down own their own spa so they couldn't give us a spa package. Apparently it was the end of times when asking to change our room since two of our rooms kept clogging and the shower handle popped off. And then, all we ended up asking for is transportation to the local mall because my mother wanted to go shopping that's it. We specifically said not to send us on a tourist trap where it's some lame tour and overpriced gift shop. Only for them to send us on exactly that. My mother literally cried on her birthday. Also Rommi and Carlos at front desk SUCK

I love this resort. It’s my first time going there with family. From check in with Carlos who treated us very well to the rooms being cleaned everyday by Angela . The food is amazing we had great severs like Katherine. Everytime we went to the pool the bartenders Alejandro and Edison were so nice and attentive. The entertainment in the resort was great , Eric aka Coca Cola was always happy and attentive to the customers. It was my birthday weekend and they all made my birthday special. I definitely recommend this resort .

This resort was wonderful, the staff was awesome especially Carlos A. he was very friendly, helpful and kind!! This was one of the cleanest properties I’ve stayed at! Great job to the crew! The buildings can use some upgrades, but they were fixing up and adding while we were there. The surrounding area is not walkable. If you have a vehicle there are plenty of options for shopping and restaurants.

I stayed here for 6 days. The property is lovely and well maintained. Staff are all very nice, although sometimes a language barrier as I don’t know Spanish but I made due. Beautiful and nice and open lobby/lounge area, check went smoothly. Our room was great, lots of space. Only issues we had were the bathroom was not private. There was a glass window in the shower part and you can easily see in, not something I would like when on vacation with my cousin or let alone those with children. We complained and they did put up a bedsheet to cover the window. There was construction outside our balcony so not the best view but we weren’t in our room that much in the daytime. The door needed to be fixed and we asked but nothing was done about it. The beach isn’t far at all and there are lots of lounge chairs there to choose from. We tried the steakhouse and Italian restaurant, both were delicious and the service was great. The main buffet for meals was also great, lots of choices and everything was made there which was amazing! Lots of families and couples at this resort. If I was to go again I would choose the adults only part of the resort to stay at. Overall a great experience and would go back.

This resort is definitely NOT a 4.5 starr property like they advertise. If you upgrade your stay to a perferred customers, its sub oar even with the upgrade. Food was less than average. The room... Perfect. Huge, quiet and always cool. Beach was awful. Dirty and can't walk far because of a marina, which made the water oily and the air stinky.

This is my second time at this hotel and I stayed almost 2 weeks. It’s safe and is kept clean. The night shows are entertaining as well as the Beach Party. The only down side, which I have already mentioned to the hotel last year, but I haven’t seen any improvement in that area this year, is the fact that they cook too many foods with “cooking wine”, which many people cannot consume. I wrote about this issue in last year’s review, and honestly, it has gotten worse. Just an example, there is no need to cook Paella with wine, even the Spaniards who invented it, don’t do that !! Yes, there are several options of foods, but at the same time, wine is present in too many of them, much more than last year. That is not the case in many other hotels I have been to in Punta Cana. I’ll give this hotel one more opportunity to adjust the “wine in most foods” situation and I’ll go back again, but if the problem persists, it’ll be my 3rd and last time. Visiting the DR would be better in winter time in the future, because with the seaweeds’ problem, it’s impossible to swim in the Caribbean Sea in the summer. Unfortunately , global warming has ruined many beaches, not only in the DR, but also in many other parts of the world.

The area outside of property was dirty and mostly shops abondoned Roads were flooded from rain so hard to walk around. It’s unfortunate of the sargassum on beach. Of course not hotels fault. I honestly picked up the wrong hotel. They are blaming the sea grass for the odor, while in reality it is the broken sewer lines right in between the hotel and the next door new Serenade construction. This brings lots of discomfort if you are facing the construction side, and of course: it beings mosquitoes bigger than me!!!

Excellent resort. Food was better than average in the DR. Wait staff was very friendly. Jose and Hector at pool bar close to beach were awesome! Fun shows. Great choice of restaurants with good service. Lobby bar service was excellent as well as service personnel waiting on everyone sitting in lobby. There was a very strong bad smell around the property that would make me want to throw up literally. Lots of mosquitoes. Especially in the elevator . Poor hygiene at the Buffet area. There were birds eating the pastries and bread . There were flies covering the desserts. They should find a way to jeep all the food covered . Anyways , I endep up with a bug in my stomach . I couldn’t eat. Some of the restrooms were in bad condition . The only thing positive about this property was that is definitely a kids friendly property . I wouldn’t come back .

Staff and service were great! Very welcoming and always willing to meet your needs. The area of improvement for us was the food. It lacked flavor, seasoning, variety and at times temperature. We are not complicated with food and eat most things so to us this was a standout.

We had a great time when we stayed in August. Of course it’s summer and it’s hot but some of the restaurants had NO air conditioning. The hotel is in need of paint or pressure washing. Buffet was okay, the restaurants were all delicious with great service. The app to make reservations for dinner was awful!!! I recommend you go to the front desk to make your dinner reservations. Overall it was a fun trip!

I stayed here for 5 nights 6 days with a group of friends…there’s roaches on the property didn’t have any in the room thank god and 1000 mosquitoes your more then likely to get bitten 20x a day…they had horrible front desk service there’re service was VERY slow but overall was a beautiful resort the food was 4/10…I don’t know if I would return but it’s definitely one for the books
