We traveled with our 5-month-old and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean, the amenities were great, and the hotel itself was very nice. The main issue we experienced was with mosquitoes coming out from the bathroom drains, particularly the shower drain and around the base of the toilet, likely due to water retention. There was no unpleasant smell, and everything was otherwise very clean, so this seemed more like a maintenance/plumbing issue rather than a cleanliness problem. We ended up killing more than 20 mosquitoes and had to keep the bathroom door closed to prevent them from getting into the room. We still enjoyed our stay, but I strongly recommend that the hotel address this issue, especially since families with young children may be staying in the rooms. As for the food, we were not particularly impressed with the buffet, as the options were somewhat limited and not as good as we expected. We did, however, visit the Italian restaurant, where the steak and food were very good, and the service was excellent. Overall, we had a nice stay and appreciated the cleanliness, amenities, and service. Hopefully, the hotel can resolve the mosquito issue coming from the bathroom drains, as that would make the experience much better.

It was such a beautiful place to say the staff was super helpful and even made conversation with you. The only issue we had was the mosquitoes The main door doesn’t go all the way to the ground so there is a sleigh crack, which allows the bug to come in so every night my husband was fighting with the mosquitoes before we went to bed. overall, I would still go again it’s just maybe we’ll be more prepared on how to keep mosquitoes out.

The resort has great bones, the food and the natural beauty of Punta Cana are amazing, and the staff will step up to change your room if you have a late-night emergency. However, the daily experience is deeply frustrating. Between the impolite, understaffed, rude, disrespectful restaurant service, broken room phones, a lack of internal transportation that forces you to haul your own luggage on foot, and constant interruptions from beach vendors, it is hard to have a relaxing vacation. They have a lot of management issues to fix before this can be recommended.
