Really good place, swimmout room was an excellent choice with child. Large property offering water park, ocean front end endless pools. Late check out for 20 per hour give us an extra day before departure. 30 min from the airport. Was little suprised that staff didn't enforced no smoking by the pools rules..... Highly recomended.

I LOVED this hotel, it was my first time in Punta Cana and I am so glad I chose this Staff - Friendly, some more than others but always someone you made a click with Pools- There were two main pools a kind of lazy river. One of the pools didn’t have any music which I would have preferred but still nice. The preferred area had another separate area with pool. Bars are always accesible Buffet is small and isn’t all “that” but still had some good options Restaurants were great, hibachi and the italian one’s were our fave They have shuttles to move around which are pretty fast Preferred club - I loved that we have extra perks and special areas, and that our rooms were separate, made it feel like we didn’t pay extra in vain. I would recommend getting this option, but it’s not entirely necessary. We had a personal “butler” which the service comes included with this, my only bad experience with any employee was her (I believe her name was yacaira) as she always had passive aggresive/slightly sarcastic answers, didn’t like repeating something if she had “already said it” and didn’t really help us out much aside from booking hibashi.. but still didn’t ruing it for us. Did not like the food selection. Didn't like the fact that you could not use the entire facility if you were not a preferred member, this was not explained to us. Its advertised as having all these restaurants but cant use them. We were never given a tour or a map of where facilities were located! Did not like all the CONSTANT sales pitches for excersions. Instead of offering classes on Spanish speaking, maybe you should offer English lessons to your employees since a majority of your business comes from English speaking customers. But, the place is beautiful. Staff was very nice, of what we could understand

We loved our stay here! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and property were very clean and well maintained. We met so many cool people from all over the world. Their are 4 restaurants to choose from and two swim up bars. We did not do the preferred booking (most people we talked to said it wasn’t worth the extra money). We had a ton of fun with all of the activities the entertainment team puts on throughout the day (competitions in the pool, exercise classes, dance parties). We also loved the sports bar and had a blast doing karaoke. The only things we didn’t particularly like was all of the vendors that come up to you trying to sell you things allll day long on the beach. But they are polite enough and when you say no they respect it. We also didn’t feel the food was top notch, some dishes were better than others. But all of it was definitely edible and we enjoyed all of the people and atmosphere so much that we overlooked it. Overall, we really enjoyed our anniversary trip and would recommend this resort!

First time staying at an all-inclusive. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were very clean. The small waterpark was a lot of fun for both adult and kids. The property is beautiful, small in comparison to other resorts in the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, they include a mini fridge that is replenished daily and it is part of the all inclusive. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The room is cleaned twice daily. The resort offers nightly entertainment, however it ends 10:30pm. The pools are open until 7pm, so there's no nightlife in this resort. There are several pools, which never seem crowded, some of them are shaded. The resort provides towels. The service is in general good, with the exception of some people that don't seem happy with their job, but for the most part people are happy, helpful and kind. The only really bad downside of this resort is the food. The general buffet at World Cafe has several options but the flavor and variety is poor. The meat was overcooked and hard. Especially the soft drinks don't have gas, they served the soda flat, which we complained about several times. The resort offers 5 restaurants which are all at the same place, which makes breakfast and dinner times overcrowded. No reservations are needed for any restaurant except for the hibachi. Our experience was awful from waiting about one hour to be served to dropping from the waiting list due to a long wait, and not being able to plan dinner because the restaurants closed without any previous notice to do dinner at the beach due to a wedding. The resort does good at keeping seaweed in nets before reaching the beach.

Shortly after arriving at room, found that bed had bugs. Was moved to another room where tv did not work. Spent two days with maintenance workers before they determined they could not fix it. Packed up again and was moved to a third room. Would never recommend and will never return to this property. Worst vacation ever.

Stayed at Dreams Royal for 5 days and I truly enjoyed my stay! The best part about my stay was the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and I loved that they kept the mini bar stocked daily with my favorite drinks. The only pain points I had was the fact they did not have a restaurant that served Dominican food, the excursion workers on the beach are VERY persistent and the house keeping came at the most random times. One night I placed my DND sign on my door, I received knocks on the door and when I did not answer (I was in bed) the door opened. Thankfully I had the latch on. Back to the beach workers lol They were all very nice and we did enjoy some excursions but trying to relax on the beach and catch a tan is extremely difficult 😩 I respect them for doing their job but sheesh lol not sure if the resort can control that or not but please be prepared. All n all, I would recommend Dreams Royal and would even go back

Overall, for the price paid and competitive market, I wasn’t thrilled with Dreams. We stayed in a “preferred” room and it didn’t seem like we had any privilege or priority. The property is nice, the food was good but would’ve been nice to have Dominican food in DR. The housekeeping was mediocre at best and most days we didn’t even get our room cleaned. My son spilled juice on the comforter and when the room was cleaned the sheets and comforter weren’t even changed. The room temperature was as not cool enough despite adjusting the settings to the coolest temp. It’s very loud during all hours. The entertainment department could really use some help. By 10pm the place was dead unless you wanted to go to a disco club. They really could have karaoke or just music playing for ppl to dance, instead they have one nightly show of rock music or alike (which was great!) for 1-2 hours followed by nothing…we’re on vacation- we want more entertainment! The facilities are clean and the pools and beach are nice. Service was pretty good. The hands down best part was the butler specifically we had EMMANUEL and he actually made our vacation! He helped with reservations, special touches for a birthday, informed us of events, etc. He was top notch! Overall, expectations were not met.

The room is so nice and clean everyday they come to clean. The AC in the room worked amazing. The pools are nice with swim up bars I loved that. The staff was super friendly and helpful to me always!! The food was great and tasty I loved the different options. My favorite thing was walking over to explore the adults only side of the resort and they have a nightclub there which was fun.

The hotel has mold in bathroom, porch and livingroom. I have asma and it took a toll on me at this stay. The food outside our room stayed for over night every other night started to smell and flies on it. Booked a massage throughout online from hotel services and it never was scheduled on their end . The drink we drink from fridge half way were returned into the fridge insted of fresh ones provided. The food thats included in hotel some of the bread and meat had a weird taste and smell to it. When we placed our orders multiple times the staf had gotten the orders wrong and we would have to wait for the food to come corrected. We tried to extend a room for 1 hour due to having 2 small kiddos and they told us absolutely not. There isn't any customer liniancy nor courtesy, i didn't feel like a guest i felt like i was in a communist hotel . I asked the front desk for the regenal managers e mail , was ofcourse denied they stated i can contact them at front desk and go from there. We witnessed 2 guests yelling at the hotel managers and staf while being escorted to their rooms . Seeing this the first couple of days it wasn't eazy especially infront of my children the profenity that fallowed was unreal. The money we have spent and how we were treated and everything we had to encounter isn't worth it.

I paid extra money to stay in the preferred side once i arrived and we had no a/c and no running water for 2 days. I traveled with 2 kids and it was difficult, i went to the lobby where Cesar the manager was disrespectful and said to my husband i was complaining. I asked to switch my room and get a refund on the extra i had paid to be on the preferred and their solution was to give me another room for one night and go back to my original room because they were all booked. Buffet food was full of flys and not appealing. The maid was amazing i’ll give them that. She was very sweet and even brought my kids chocolate covered strawberries to the room. Other than that do not recommend.

Pros- Great location, walkable to the beach, beach is great, pools and slides are great. Good restaurant choices. Cons- rooms are outdated, 1st floor rooms are hell because of loud guests and hotel employees all day and night walking through the hallways. Hotel lacks genuine service from employees.

I had a swim out room, it had a jacuzzi and a cabana we LOVED it. The room was spotless and housekeeping was great, room service was very prompt my concierge Emmanuel was perfect. The shuttles were great when it did rain and the staff in general were kind, fun and always smiling. We will definitely be coming back. We booked a room with one king bed, and two book double bed. After complaining that we only had one king bed, we receive a roll in bed. We had one kid sleeping in bed with us one kid sleeping on the rollout bed after three days I discovered the room next-door to ours was also supposed to be ours. The hostel staff seemed very surprised that we didn’t have keys to it, and had no idea that the room next-door was also ours, in addition to this when you arrive, nobody tells you how to hotel works where to find towels what restaurants there are what time are open they tell you to use the app the app has the wrong hours and does not allow you to order room service our room keys have stopped working every single day at least once a day. With all the choices of hotels, I would try somewhere else.

The whole experience was excellent. The staff was the best ever, including my personal butler Martín. They were always paying attention to the details. The room was clean and very comfortable. The personal outside jet tub with the pool view was pretty awesome. The restaurants and daily activities were great. We were so satisfied that we are planning to go back next year.

Treated us poorly just because we were dominicans, we understand this resort has a mostly white community but we also paid the same amount to be there. We tried to be as nice as possible but it was too much disrespect. They even didn’t let us in on one of the restaurants because “there were no tables” but it was 9;30 and we were ready since 8:00 waiting for the table and then the girl just kept saying there was no tables even though we saw them empty. A lot of bad comments about us and bad looks… Very disappointing never coming back.

The staff at Dreams Royal Beach were wonderful and made our stay so enjoyable. While service was not as fast in restaurants as we are used to the employees always took care of guests with dignity and care. We enjoyed all the pools and amazing clean Beach. The resort was large enough to have plenty of things to do but not too large. The only downside was the food quality. We wished there were more traditional Dominican food options and music to experience the beautiful country on the resort.

Here for a wedding. Stayed on the preferred side, which is a long walk to the beach, but they do have carts that will take you wherever you want to go on resort. Plenty of pools and chairs to find whatever you're looking for.

Property was easy to get around and really liked the no reservations ar the restaurants. The Hibachi did need a reservation and food was excellent. Staff was great and entertainment was good. It is on a public beach so many vendors may reach out to you but they were still nice. Rooms were clean and if you needed anything they were very responsive.

Friendly staff. Food ok. Only seaside grill was worth it and was 8/10 rest were 5/10. Pools were clean and not crowded. Night shows were fun.

If you want the best food I would suggest getting the preferred club membership and checking out sea side grill. The buffet wasn’t all that appetizing, I didn’t eat much my entire trip because the food was very different. Even the fruit was overly ripe and inedible at times. When people warn you not to drink the tap water, do not use the tap water!! They put lots of bottles of water in the room, we even brushed our teeth with it because it will make you really sick and throw up. I’m not sure if the water in the pitcher at the restaurants were okay to drink, but I would order an alternative just in case. Same goes for ice if you’re an ice eater, DON’T DO IT!!

The resort facilities is very nice, clean and updated. The only negative in facility is no fans in bathrooms. Staff is nice everywhere. Food is mediocre. The seaside grill is the best place to eat, but the time to get the food is long, could be over an hour, plus wait in line could be another hour.

My stay with my family was pretty safe. The fruits at room service were not fresh, room service took about 1hr every time. On the last day of our stay the food never arrived and we had to check out eating a rushed breakfast. There needs to be more quality control because sending two sets of inedible fruits is unacceptable.There needs to be more work on the food selection, some tourist come for the cultural heritage of the island, imagine the shock of eating food catered to tourists. All the restaurant food barely had any flavor and the menu is the same everyday. The room service menu needs to be revamped because there are multiple restaurants on site and there should be more selection. The coffee needs to be better it was horrible in the room and in the coffee shops, there needs to be more retraining on how to properly make certain drinks and if you cannot make it do not offer it. All the drinks were watered down including the coffee and the Presidente Beer. Overall I wouldn’t go back and I would explore more all inclusive options.

Everything was amazing except for the food. We tried almost everything and the only thing that was good was the pizza. Food should be one of the main priorities and it definitely lacked as one. An example would be almost all the hard boiled eggs were still raw at the Buffett

The service here is one of the best I've experienced. The workers are extremely kind and helpful. The resort itself is just ok, but the season in which I went also affected my experience (late August so the beach was too covered in seaweed to swim in). I booked the preferred members section so I had access to a few more pools but without it I really don't think there was enough variety for non-preferred members. I will say the pools are VERY clean and the swim-up bars are great. The room itself was stunning and extremely clean upon checking in. Snacks and drinks were restocked daily. Now the part that disappointed me the most was the food. Absolutely atrocious. The main buffet was mediocre at best, and the Italian restaurant (Portofino) was honestly inedible. I had high hopes for the seafood restaurant (Oceana) and hibachi but even those were just ok. I had a good time but I think I would choose a different resort next time.
