Clean rooms, large fluffy towels daily, bottled water, ramen cereal fruit or toast breakfast, and extra friendly staff. APEC was in town and on departure day, there was a marathon in Seoul. Cabs were not running nearby so staffer took us to nearby subway to get to scheduled express train to airport. She spoke English too. What a lifesaver. Centrally located. 5-mins in each direction is Insadong Cultural Street, or, BBQ alley in opposite direction. Palace wall 5-mins away too. We were able to hail cabs quickly on main roads except last day. In quiet alley but we would stay here again.

O hotel fica numa rua bem escondida, quando chegamos estava com neve e foi um pouco difícil. O quarto é pequeno, mas jeitoso. O chuveiro fica em cima da pia. Não tem box. O café da manhã é típico da Ásia, muitas opções de miojo. Não tinha variedade todos os dias as mesmas coisas. O check in é feito em máquina. A localização foi muito boa para nós. Isso valeu e o preço imbatível.

This is a tough review to write. All the previous negative and positive reviews are correct. However, it doesn't deserve some of the low star ratings. It is a cross between a budget hotel and a modern hostel. Location: Excellent. Walkable to 2 metro station (5-10 min walk). Anguk station is more straightforward, Jongno 3 Ga station is a little tricky, but after awhile, there is a quick short cut through the hanok alleys. The hotel is also within walking distance to the palace area, including one that has free admission. Pricing: Very reasonalbe. Staff: Superb. The manager and other employees are responsive and extremely pleasant and courteous. I asked to switch to another available room, and it was done quickly. Kitchen and common area: All of the machines and utensils typical of a very good hostel (much better than a regular hotel). Room: On the smaller side. The floor is heated in the winter, and sometime it gets too warm. Rooms near the stairs are usually noisier than far away. Bathroom quirks: Typical setting of an Asian wet bathroom. The shower head is position right above the sink and the toilet bowl. This didn't bother me. The reason I think both previous negative and positive comments are correct is that, it has all the good services and amenities of a modern hostel. The private bathroom makes it a "hotel", albeit a budget one. The location, the services, the staff and the pricing all make up its quirks and drawbacks.

Staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The room is clean and their amenities are excellent. Looking forward to another stay in MJ Hotel!

4日滞在しました。ホステルのような感じです。ホテルは清潔でシーツも新しかったです。ルームクリーニングはないとのことでしたが、毎回タオルは交換され、ゴミの回収もありました。朝ごはん付きで、パンやコーヒー、シリアル、バナナとオレンジのフルーツと牛乳、漢江ラーメンがあり美味しくいただきました。片付けは自分でするスタイルです。いつも同じ女性の方が綺麗にしてくれたり、作り方を教えてくれたり、コーヒーメーカーのメンテナンスを笑顔でしてくれて助かりました。日本語はほぼ通じませんが、なんとなく助けてくれます。他のお客さんも韓国の方はもちろん、日本人やアメリカやスペインななど様々な方がいて、気さくに挨拶できて楽しかったです。 洗濯機と乾燥機があり、洗剤と柔軟剤も使っていいと言われました。とても助かりました。 雨の日もありましたが、傘は自由に使っていいとのことです。 また、荷物預けも無料で人もいない時もありますがロビーに置いておくスタイルです。監視カメラがついてるので安心とのことですが、心配な方は不安かもしれません。 ただ、シャワーが洗面台とトイレと一体のスタイルでした。初めてだったので1日目は戸惑いました。 子供達は最初は文句を言ってましたが、2日目からは慣れたようです。ただ、全面石タイルだったので冬は寒いかもしれません。 駅からは7分ぐらい歩き、仁寺洞の石畳なのでスーツケース持っていくのは難儀でしたが、帰りは歩きやすいところをリサーチして帰ることができました！ホテルステイを重視する方には向かないかもですが、周りは静かでコンビニも徒歩2分のところにあり、仁寺洞や安国の散策にはとで便利でした。ありがとうございました。

Rene rom, behagelig seng, og fin gåavstand til fine steder i Seoul. Rommet ble vasket en gang på mine to dager der. Egdn innsjekking via terminal i resepsjonen gikk enkelt og greit. Frokostbufféten er svært enkel og inneholder ikke mye.

従業員さんは恐く日本語は話せませんがサポートしてくれます。フロントに常に居るわけではないです。要所要所に日本語で説明が書いてあります。お部屋は綺麗で使い易いが何が何処にあるかのHOTEL説明はありません。朝食時間は従業員さんに聞きました。果物、ヨーグルト、フレーク、パン、ラーメン、セルフで好きな物を選んで自分で調理します。食器も自分で選んで洗います。連泊の場合は15時にクリーンに入るそうですがタオルが変えられてゴミの片付けくらいです。

협소하지만 깨끗합니다. 식사도 깔끔해요!! 다만 주차가 없어서 조금 불편한 점 빼고...

I came with my family and the late night scene was more for the younger party crowd but during the day you are close to so many amazing spots that are a walk or short taxi ride away. We were very happy with our stay :)

Personligen hade jag inte kunnat önska bättre location. Jag var alltid glad att komma ”hem” efter en dag i storstaden. Området va nära till mysiga matställen, caféer, uteliv och shopping! Personalen var otroligt trevliga och hjälpsamma. Rummen var rena. Enkelt men uppfyller allt man behöver och lite till. Sköna sängar och bäddlakan. Det enda minus om man måste komma upp med något var Stockholms dusch (men man fick badtofflor så inte en big deal egentligen) och sterilt ljus i rummet, hade varit mysigare med ett dovare gult ljus eller en nattlampa.

The hotel is good for the price, The room is ok & small. I really dislike the bathroom, shower and toilet right next to each other, so the toilet is always wet. Everytime you take a shower, you will need to remove the roll of toilet paper. The breakfast is very basic, but free 24 hr instant noodles The staffs are very nice.

Pro: - sehr saubere Unterkunft - sehr freundlicher Service Con: - Unterkunft nicht leicht zu finden, da es in einer Nebenstraße ist - Fenster und Türen im Zimmer nicht gut isoliert -> man hört viele Geräusche auf den Gängen und von draußen - Frühstück besteht aus Toastbrot und Fertigsuppen

먼저 예약시 사진으로 제공받은 객실과는 전혀 다른 곳이였습니다. 공간은 협소하기 짝이 없었고, 침대와 일직선상에 위치한 TV는 침대에 누워서는 시청하기 애매하고 불편해 앉아서 봐야했음. 전선 콘센트는 좁은 침대사이에 위치해 케이블을 꽂으니 선이 꺽일 정도. 더 황당한 것은 콘센트가 하나 밖에 없어 (욕실에도 콘센트가 없음) 드라이기를 사용하기 위해 가족들이 수면중인 상태에서 룸에서 사용할 수 밖에 없었음. 하나 더 객실내 전등이 전체 설정으로 되어 있어 아이들이 수면중이라 화장실등 불빛을 이용해 화장을 해야 하는 상황이였음. 난방도 개별 사용이 안 되다보니 이불도 얇고 난방도 약하고 추웠음. 체크인시 조식에 대한 안내를 받지 못해 외부에서 식사를 해결한 상황임. 한 마디로 게스트하우스도 이런 시설을 이용해 보진 않았던 듯 합니다.

Muy bien ubicado para poder ir caminando a los principales templos de Seúl, de fácil acceso usando transporte público para ir a lugares más alejados. Muy cerca de tiendas y de restaurantes. El único inconveniente con las habitaciones es su luz, demasiado intensa, sin posibilidad de modularla, ni de iluminar solo una parte. Volvería a hospedarme en este lugar.

初めての韓国で分からないことが多かったのですが、スタッフの方にお聞きすると親切に答えて貰えてとても安心しました。チェックイン、アウトの機械は日本語もありますし、スタッフの方が英語で説明してくださったので聞き取れる方は全く問題ないと思います。部屋のトイレはペーパー流せないのでそこだけ注意です。よく詰まるそうで私達も詰まらせてしまったのですが、こちらが申し訳ないですとおっしゃっていました。ホテルは少し道を入ったところにありますが近くに学校もあり、少し歩くと大きな道に出るので治安はそこまで悪くなかったです。部屋も綺麗でしたが壁が薄いので他の宿泊者の声やエレベーターの音が聞こえました。値段の割にとってもいい宿泊でした。

The hotel staff were all very kind. The room temperature was too hot on the day I checked in, and there was no thermostat in the room, so the front desk staff left at 10pm. It was so hot that night I couldn't get a good night's sleep, but I told the hotel staff the next morning and they adjusted it for me. The hotel staff are there from 8am and leave at 10pm, so they can't adjust the temperature after 10pm, so I recommend letting them know in advance.

チェックインは自動で、パネルで日本語で操作できます。うまくできなかったのですが、ホテルの方が親身に対応してくださいました。 清潔ですし、従業員の方々は笑顔が美しく親切で、気持ちよく滞在できました。 難点は二つあり、少しわかりにくい場所にあることと、部屋のコンセントの位置が不思議な位置にあること、だけでした。

鍾路3街はアクセスがいいので、使いやすかったです。徒歩でもあちこち出かけられます。ホテル内は清潔で快適でした。ロビーのフリースペースでテイクアウトした食材をレンチン出来て部屋飲み出来たのがいい思い出になりました。

鐘路三街4號出口，行5分鐘左右，附近有2間便利店，有很多燒肉店，早上有早餐供應，員工都很好，會講普通話，細心！

Muy amables las encargadas del comedor y limpieza, el desayuno aceptable y tenías de oportunidad de hacerte café o té durante todo el día, lo mismo que ramen. La habitación de buen tamaño, aunque faltaba algún mueble para acomodar las cosas. Muy bien ubicado, podías caminar a varios lugares de interés turístico.
