Location is smack dab in the middle from the airport and the marina. Whales are super active here. Food is so yummy and the service is great, service was slow at times but friendliness made up for it. The cabana was so much fun and worth it for the value. Concierge and room service were fast and efficient. The gym is modern and very big, best gym I’ve seen At a resort. We joined the Hyatt club and can’t wait to come back to this resort asap. We did not want to leave.

We always love Dreams properties! Everyone is wonderful and we had a great time! Oscar in the preferred area of the beach was the best and made our stay that much better. The only thing that needs work is keeping up with the towel demand. A few times the towels for beach/pool area ran out so we just started hanging on to our towels just in case they were out again the next day. Overall, really great stay and everyone was great!

Overall, the hotel is beautiful and exceptionally well maintained. Our room was clean, and all common areas were equally clean and well-kept. One of the highlights for us was the kids' daycare area our son absolutely loved it! Andy and her team, who were working during our stay, were fantastic friendly, helpful, and truly great with the kids. However, we did experience some issues with the food service throughout our stay. During breakfast at Ocean Grill, service was very slow, and they had just opened for service. It took approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to receive our food, despite the restaurant being fairly empty with only 4-5 occupied tables. That said, the staff assisting us during these delays were very apologetic and courteous, and we appreciated their professionalism despite the challenges. At lunch, we also found that the buffet frequently ran out of food in several trays, and restocking was often delayed. We felt that the food at times was very bland as well.

Our elevator was broken and we stayed on the 5th floor. We had to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs all day for our entire stay. Not a very good way to relax on vacation.

In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit einem nicht vorhandenen Top-Hotel Anspruch! Zimmer Ok aber nicht mehr! Zu beginn sehr aggressives marketing mit Angeboten für eine Club Mitgliedschaft! Fehlende Wartung an Aufzügen und Sanitären Anlagen. Mehrer Tage keine Papier Handtücher auf den Toiletten am Pool. Drei Tage keinen Kamillentee beim Frühstück, aber im Coco Caffee vorhanden. Zusammenfassend: ganz OK, aber nicht mehr!

The staff at the property are amazing and make the experience excellent. We never had a negative experience with Dreams staff. The entertainment team is so fun, bartenders and wait staff are attentive, the back of the house staff are friendly and keep the resort running smoothly. The property itself is aging. Some cleanliness issues in the room and around the resort, but overall a pretty clean place considering how busy they were when we were there.

There was a group 14 of us. The rooms were great, they are so big and the beds are so comfy. The food was really good. We had great steak at Bordeaux, great pasta and risotto and Portofino, great ribs at Seaside Grill. The grill at the beach for lunch serves great burgers, chicken wings, hot dogs, and nachos just to name a few. Two of have celiac disease so we have to eat gluten free. No problems at all. Playing beach volley ball, pickleball and yoga was also great! No complaints - it is a great resort!

Room needs some updating. Sleeper sofa very old and worn. Glass shower door dragged on the tile floor, difficult to enter and exit. Staff was excellent and responsive. We enjoyed our stay overall.

My room was amazing, big, ocean view, shower was excellent. Minor issues w/toilet was fixed quickly. The staff were so professional and courteous. Excellent gym. The adults pool was spectacular. Property was huge.

The pool for Hyatt Preferred members was much nicer than the main pool. It was also much quieter and the service was very attentive. My main problem with our stay is that, as a preferred member, I expected a nice room location. Our room was terrible and overlooked the roof of Portofino. I asked the front desk to move us and they said they had something available for the following night. And it was only marginally better. We ended up staying there but I would have never paid that much for such a poor location. The food was pretty good for an all inclusive. The buffet was what you’d expect. The Italian restaurant and the Seaside Grill were really good options. Overall, we wouldn’t stay here again.

I wouldn’t rate this as a five-star resort by any stretch. It’s not terrible, but it’s certainly not great. We paid for the Preferred Club, and honestly, it wasn’t worth it. The premium perks like the lounge access and higher-end alcohol fell short. The lounge food was subpar, and the top-shelf options were still things like José Cuervo. There were standout employees who made our stay brighter. Luis & Lucas at the main pool, Mercedes & Maria in the adults-only and Preferred sections, Beymar at Oceana, Victor at the Seaside Grill, and Ozi & Alan at concierge. Each delivered exceptional service. Unfortunately overall service was so inconsistent we found ourselves planning our days around when those few were working. The same unreliability showed up in the rooms. Our first Preferred Oceanfront room had a major mold issue. Ozi handled it professionally and moved us quickly to a cleaner room, which we appreciated. But mold should never be something guests have to deal with. The new room was better, but still not worth the Preferred upcharge. The oceanfront view was lovely, and you can always hear the waves. But the patio was uninviting and had crappy furniture so we never really wanted to be out there. This resort has real potential. But for now, the 5 star label is misleading. As it stands it’s more of a 3 star resort with flashes of excellence thanks only to a few great employees.

Clean room, staff are friendly and attend to your accommodations. The beach is nice but can't swim due to the big waves. The food was mediocre and it took over 30 minutes to receive some food at dinner time. One main dish didn't show up waited 45 min so we left due to waiting for so long.

I booked the trip over my wife’s birthday and notified the hotel several times before and while I was there and they did morning. Several other rooms had special banners but not ours. They didn’t say anything about our VIP status or offer and upgrades during our visit. I left several messages with the front desk for Alan but nothing came of it. Besides the internment crew and Luis the gentleman working the pool area nobody seemed happy to be working at the resort. They tried hard to sell extras like messages and such but never honeyed the simple requests or your VIP status. We had a better time at the Valentin in Cancun and felt special everyday. There are tons of resorts in Cobo to stay at so the the Dreams just needs to get better.

Good smaller sized resort in a nice quiet area. The rooms were very spacious and staff kept the property in nice shape. The restaurant no reservation system created a lot of waiting and it seemed odd to have the same system at the buffet (Ive never had that before at an AI). Oceana and Bordeaux were fantastic, room service was quick and easy. Portofino was a huge disappointment but I dont want to overshadow the positives with the negatives. I do wish they labeled their food allergens better (some were clearly wrong) and that they extended the warnings beyond the app and onto buffet signs. I spent the first 4 days eating gluten (I'm gluten free) because of poor labels. They always ask if you have allergies but the only time they acted accordingly was at Bordeaux and Oceana. All in all I'd go back.

The entire staff were friendly and make you feel welcomed. We met one young server at the oceania restaurant, Sergio Valdez was outstanding and kept us returning for his professional and very friendly service! The food was very good but his personality made our stay very enjoyable.

If you are just looking for a nice quiet place to enjoy the beach and sun go find another place, this is not it. The staff was wonderful. Surf was too high and there was no access to the ocean although you can sit on the beach if you can find a spot. The food was bad. Cafeteria level quality at best. We were assaulted with a sales pitch for club membership before we even got our room. Facilities are insufficient for the crowds. People were staking out spots on the beach or by the pool as early as 6AM. Weddings or other events every day. Parties and noise every evening till 10-11PM If you are a big family or arranging a large group event, wedding, reunion, anniversary etc, this can be a good option. Otherwise go elsewhere.

From the start you are being sold services! From timeshares to joining Hyatt club to tours! We didn’t even get our room yet. Plus they did not honor Expedia VIP , they stated you have to be Expedia plus member. Their 20 percent off spa is ONLY on very few options. The staff looks like they don’t want to be there. The “entertainment” at pool was a repeat of same boring activities for the 6 days we were there. Nothing special. The Icing on cake was our last day two females in the 24hr Cafe began to verbally fight and one slammed the door because other refused to “work”. Overall it’s a property you only visit once and move on to other properties. Not worth spending your hard earned money. Oh another thing, this hotel charges $41 usd for sun lotion and $27 usd for straws. Just FYI to bring your own. They really know how to gouge the customer.

The entire staff was amazing! They were very patient and accommodating. The wait staff at the restaurants; the bartenders at the bars; the servers; the concierge, even the entertainment, everyone was great and very polite. My wife and I will definitely be back.

The property is well maintained and clean. Most of the people who work here are exceptional. They are willing to help and attentive. One thing people should be made aware of...you are not allowed near the ocean on this property. There is beach access, but because the water is so rough, nobody can go in the ocean. Also, dinner time can sometimes get busy at the restaurants so expect wait times. There are no reservations taken.

The property was beautiful but I was not a fan of the food. Location is about 20 minutes from the marina and the property also doesn't allow Ubers to pick you up on the property, you have to walk to the gate to meet them. Drinks were pretty decent.

property is clean and safe. ocean views are beautiful! very family oriented. staff was friendly and attentive. our only disappointment was the beach. black flags all week because of a very strong undertow. if you want to swim in the ocean this might not be the area for you. other than that this a great place!!!!

Dreams is on the Cabo corridor and is a great place to stay if you want Cabo but not all the hustle and bustle. We truly enjoyed the resort (it was our second time there, third time at a Dreams resort) and the amenities. Staff are very attentive and kind. We celebrated a birthday and every day there was a little surprise for us in our room or even delivered to the pool! We did not travel with children and enjoyed the adults-only pool daily. Please note the ocean is not swimmable at the resort. All in all, a great choice for all-inclusive but not too big!

The resort is beautiful and has the potential to be one of the top destinations, however the service as well as quality of the food was tremendously lacking. The food was downright awful, my kids barely ate and refused several options from the room service completely. The drinks were not any better. We were hoping it was a one off or just a specific restaurant, but the food being an issue was consistent across all locations. Except for the coffee place, we had no complaints there. Staff was difficult to communicate with due to language barrier and some had very little interest in assisting. One of the waiters at the Italian restaurant didn’t greet nor acknowledge us and barely was interested in answering any questions, yet he understood and spoke English. Most of the questions were met with responses to reference their app, which has proved to be wrong. The map doesn’t appear to look like the resort, the room service options do not match what is offered. This is just the tip of the ice berg, I won’t go into detail regarding property maintenance: flooding restrooms, overflowing toilets, most of the faucets not functioning and lacking soap. Also be aware, there is major reconstruction of the private pools taking place currently, so there is a lot of noise such, as drilling and jackhammering, during the day and construction crew walking around that area.

I didn’t get my room cleaned every day had to call and ask to it to be cleaned. Then the food was yuck and the service at the restaurants all of them were slow. Very disappointed in this Stay won’t stay at a dreams property again. This was not our view in Tulum.

The dinner options are limited. We stayed there for 6 nights and ate at the same dinner location various times. With limited locations to eat, most dinner locations had an average wait time of 30-45 minutes to be seated. They do not offer advance reservations. Although in various occasions when showing up to a restaurant we were asked if our name was on the list. So it appears that they do side reservations but do not advertise it.
