I frequent St. Augustine to visit family. Since I wasn't traveling with my Chihuahua this time I chose to stay at the Bayfront (that doesn't allow pets) primarily for the location. I wasn't disappointed! The view and walkability are incredible and free parking and hot breakfast options were a plus. The room was very clean and the bedding was quite comfortable. My only complaint was that the small pool was dirty and rundown. If the pool is important to you this probably isn't the place for you. Had I not had grandkids that swam it would not have mattered to me since I can swim at home.

Property was clean, rooms were too. Breakfast was hot and abundant. Staff was very friendly, especially the breakfast cook. He was very kind and went above and beyond to provide us water and to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We liked it here and would stay again. Pool area could use some umbrellas- was hot with no shade.

Lots of great things to comment on. The front desk staff was very accommodating and nice. The room is small but comfortable. The breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. Really good! The outside deck that overlooked the water was fantastic and clean. They allowed us to park in their lot Early and late while we enjoyed the town. Overall, it was a very nice hotel experience. We would definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone.

Beds and pillows were wonderful. Breakfast was okay. Afternoon hors d’oeuvres and free bottled water were a nice bonus. Great location. Once we parked our van we never moved it until check out cause we walked everywhere. Pool looked really clean and nice outdoor sitting areas.

The property is extremely clean, the staff is wonderful. The property is located right in the historic district walkable to everything. The location is perfect. There’s a nice small breakfast buffet. Unlimited water bottles! The hotel itself is well-maintained, furniture is in good condition. The bed was very comfortable. The con was, that this is an old motel. There is a small pool in the parking lot with no shade. The room smelled a bit musty.

What was a little disappointing for me is , you have a swimming pool, but no umbrellas ,‘I went to the pool with my sister but it was so hot we couldn’t stay there, we had to go early in the morning or at 5pm when the sun isn’t that strong, you should have umbrellas at the pool area , it will make it comfortable for your guests to be able to enjoy spending time at the pool, sincerely Candida,

Very convenient to walk downtown St Augustine. Property simple, staff excellent especially the chef who made sure our group enjoyed breakfast. Only negative is floors in the room was very dirty. Other than that, all was acceptable.

Stay was great. Only thing is it needs some general maintenence. Water stain and old mold in shower, missing caulking, and hard water stains/ corrosion around faucets. The room was clean and nice, wish there were a few more convenient outlets but we werr able to charge everything without issue, just searched. I will definitely stay again, since it was very convenient to saint george street and flagler without having to move the car. Staff friendly, and breakfast is equivalent to ones at other hotels.

The rooms are very outdated. The bathrooms did not feel clean. The caulking around the tub looked like a 4 year old did it. the toilet was so low that I had to help my mom getting up (not elderly friendly at all). The first thing you smell when stepping in the room is mildew It even made our clothes smell. We left to get coffee. When we cam back the room there was water all over the floor by the bathroom sink. When we looked at the sink, there was some sort of black gritty sand which looked like it back up from somewhere. Pretty gross! of course, the coffee machine didn't work. Not worth the money we paid.....at all

Stayed in room 212 which had a constant loud fan type noise that stayed on even when a/c and heater were off. If you like white noise maybe it would not bother you but I found it disrupted my sleep - even with ear plugs. Everything else about the property was great. Friendly, helpful staff, room was clean.

Close to old town and the Castillo. Easy to walk to many of the attractions and trolley stop near by. Wi-Fi isn’t the best. Rooms were clean and nice. No issue and decent breakfast. Would stay again.

The location is in walking distance to all historic attractions. The views were beautiful of the bay and the lighthouse. However we didnt grt a good night's sleep. There was alot of noice coming out of aircondioner in the closet only during the night. We also heard somone walking around the room on the wood floors. We did feel afraid but would wake us up. We would love to know if anyone else has experienced this. We were in room 103. Beside tjay the place is lovely and highly recommend it.

The property is an older facility, but is in an excellent location. It is well run and the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Our disappointment was in the room location. The “king corner room” was located underneath the stairs and had no view. This wasn’t noted in the room description when we booked.

Great location for a visit in St Augustine on the waterfront of the bay just outside the historic quarter and right after The Lion Bridge. Complimentary afternoon snack in the lobby on our arrival and delicious homemade cookies. The receptionist Ellen is very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is the poor and very unstable internet connection in the room. We hope that will be improved and upgraded, as we have met fantastic highspeed internet in most of the other hotels on this trip.

Very nice. Comfy beds and pillows. Small room but still nice and tastefully decorated. So convenient to downtown historic district. Free parking at hotel so never had to move the car. Good breakfast. Will stay there again.

Due to construction in the area, I called several times for instructions on how to access the motel. No one answered the phone. When I did arrive, there were three employees at the front desk- one was serving another guest, two were talking about the weather. After a long time, the two weather people finally stopped and one welcomed me. When I later returned to the desk for information, no employee could be found. I waited forever before finding a maintenance person to get a desk attendant. This was in the middle of the afternoon. Terrible service!

The staff is outstanding and went upbove and beyond to make your stay there excellent. They were always friendly and went out of their way to say hi and make sure everything is good. The guy that was doing the breakfast really make sure you were ok and even went to each table and said hi and make sure nobody needed anything.

The staff was absolutely wonderful! Everyone was kind and accommodating. The 5:00 Hors d'oeuvres were a nice added touch. The breakfast was superb, very nice variety of different kinds of food. Omelets, potatoes, ham, a variety of pastries, breads, juice, cereals, fruit, and yogurt. The bed was very comfortable refreshing clean sheets and bedding. Clean well stocked bathroom with a hairdryer under the sink. The room was spotless. Highly recommend

The staff is AMAZING!! The manager even walked fresh baked out to my son and I when we were sitting on their lounge area swings outside. Also one of my nights I was kept up until 3:30 AM with loud people above me and the next morning the staff changed my room immediately and upgraded me. The breakfast is so good and the cook (I never got his name) does a great job with making high quality hot foods quickly so the mass of people who come down for the breakfast don't wait. I will 100% come back to this hotel (and the location is spectacular)

We loved our stay here! The room was clean and comfortable, staff was excellent, and breakfast was small but definitely on the better side of what I usually find in a hotel breakfast. It was amazing. Beds were so comfortable. Pillows were nice and firm, not the weak feather pillows a lot of hotels have. Within walking distance of just about everything, plus there is a trolley if you need it. It was my friends birthday, bought the birthday package. There was good champagne, glasses to take home, box of chocolates, balloons on the bed and a card, just wish I would have ask to have the card filled out, didn’t know I had to ask. I just thought that it would say, Happy Birthday from the staff at the Bayfront Hotel. The breakfast was very simple, and the eggs they served were cheese omelettes, since I can’t have cheese, the attendant made me a plate of scrambled eggs. Definitely staying there again.,

When checking we were greeted with happy friendly faces. It was so welcoming. They had fresh cookies avaliable if you wanted a sweet treat. The room was clean and cool. Beds were comfortable and it was quite. Breakfast was good biscuits were so big and fluffy eggs were good and the gravy was tasty. Location was perfect. We will definitely be returning we had such a nice time.
