There was such limited staff that we didn’t get checked into our room for about 5+ hours after we arrived. Inky 1 person at the front desk and a long line of people. Rooms weren’t ready because the cleaning crew weren’t cleaning them. We left and came back twice and all told spent almost 2 hours just waiting in line or talking to the front desk person. She was as helpful as she could be but she needed help! She called the cleaning crew and they wouldn’t help. She called the manager and she refused to come in to help. This place was nice to look at but terrible management. Zero stars.

When I book a hotel online, what I really want, more than anything else, is a painless, quick check-in process. That's not what I got. I waited while about 10 people ahead of me also waited, and I wondered why it took so long. Getting to the front, it was obvious. I was asked from my driver license, which by itself isn't horrible. Then I was asked for my credit card. The one I already supplied online. The one they already had. It took her several minutes to process it. Then she asked if I'd be parking a car. Yes. Parking is an extra fee. Fine, whatever. I paid it. The hotels.com ad said nothing about this. The parking lot says nothing about it being only for hotel residents. And I still had to park a couple hundred yards away from the front doors (the ones next to their ONLY set of elevators, which also happen to be on the opposite end of the hotel as our room). And to pay for parking, I also had to run my card myself, even though she had already run it. Ugh! Check-in took about 5 minutes for me, after waiting at least 20 minutes for everyone ahead of me. Boooo! And while I'm complaining anyway, here are a couple more things: backlit bathroom mirror lights look cool, but they make my face look like it's in the shadows. Unhelpful! And when will hotels realize I want liquid hand soap in my bathroom? Bar soap at the sink is gross! And one of the main reasons I chose this hotel was breakfast had more than just carbs. But still pathetic. Just eggs. No meat. No other protein. Urrg!
