Decepcionante, nos mandan de principio mal a una habitación ocupada, la tv no funcionaba, la ducha echaba agua por 10 agujeritos de los 50 que tendría, sin escobilla de wc, la limpieza muuy mejorable, solo hay un ascensor pequeño antiguo sin memoria y cada subida a la cuarta planta era una odisea, o estabas esperando porque lo tenía algún cliente o las de la limpieza o bajabas al garaje, subías, volvías a bajar etc. Así que los últimos días ya usábamos las escaleras. He estado en hoteles de 2 estrellas mejores que este, que sinceramente no sé de donde ha sacado las 4 estrellas. El barrio tampoco le ayuda, acostúmbrense a ver prostitutas si salen por la noche por la propia calle del Hotel o algún trapicheo.

清潔でバルコニーも広いです。モロッコからのフェリーで帰り、翌日鉄道で朝早くから移動だったので駅前のこちらの宿をとりました。が、フェリーが欠便、遅延となり夜中の２時にチェックイン、６時の電車までの数時間をシャワーして出るだけになってしまいました。快適なホテルを楽しみたかったのに数時間の滞在になってしまい残念です。フロントのお兄さんもとても良い人で英語も通じました。水などの販売機がコインだけなのは★マイナス１の要因です。

In terms of convenience of proximity to bus stationa and port, this cant be beat. If you are driving, please note parking is not free (10 to 12 euros a night), and it is tricky to find the parking entrance when driving (so ask for specific directions before arrival). The rooms are nice, they even have affordable room options for families. The beds, pillows and bedding are very comfortable, there is even a small refrigerator/cooler to keep drinks or milk cold. The bathrooms are well supplied, with a nice design, and plenty of hot water. I highly recommend this place as the ideal transit stop if you are traveling in algeciras.

GOOD HOTEL, ROOM AND BATHROOM WAS VERY SPACIOUS CLOSE TO THE PLAZA AND LOTS OF SHOPS NEARBY PARKING OPTIONS CLOSE BY

A quite basic hotel (there wasn't even coffee in the room). That's OK, but the big problem was the slow, very flaky WiFi Internet. That's a deal breaker for me.

Quite a large place right beside the bus station. I walked around the town and did a bit of grocery shopping and got a kebab. Fab. Hotel was fine. Main lift wasn't working, but they let us use the staff lift.

Très pratique pour se reposer la nuit avant de prendre le bateau au port d'algeciras. Cette hotel a un parkkng souterrain sécurisé.

Not at all clean. Outdated interior. The AC was broken so leaving the windows open was necessary. Surrounding was very noisy though with buss terminal outside room. The receptionist was helpful and regretted we were not informed of the broken AC.

Excellent stay. Good, clean, comfortable room. We had a balcony and bath. They supplied us with a kettle. Good variety of food at breakfast. Staff were nice and helpful. Right next door to the bus station which was great for us as we were traveling to and from there.

Minor defects and a Hygiene topic with the toilet the first night. At the end a good place to stay near the harbor and therefor not a quiet place.

We've been here during Christmas for a couple of days. Overall, I would say, it is an average hotel, not four star for sure, but it is okay (with some emoloyees whom behaviour was really dissapointing and unacceptable: the arrogancy of the waiters were outrageous and also it was very odd to see that the receptionist was working while she had extremely sickness, and once she realized that we are there, just simply swiped off all the used tissues from the table to the floor...and then served us: as I result, I got the flu as well afterthat:) ). The main problem was the extremely ignorance of the staff regarding of our complaint: as I attached, we had problems with these bugs on the second day. I've mentioned this (also shown) to the staff, where they said, as this was our last day, we should raise the case to hotels.com. We did it, the agent says that we will get response from the hotel within 3 days: it was more than a week ago, and still nobody get in touch with us, which is a bit upsetting. It is an old building, obviously pests are happening but if the hotel would really care about their reputation, they would handle the case on the spot, not to put the responsibility on the agency. So I would really appreciate if this would be taken care.

We only stayed one night at MirOctavio hotel but it was a positive experience and good value. The bed was comfortable, bathroom is spacious with good shower and there is a fridge and balcony. However only down side was the bedroom lamp didn’t work and lighting was poor.

Short stay. Beds extremely comfortable. Light in room wasnt working but we didnt notify desk.

Condition of room could be better. But it does what I needed, somewhere convenient for both the railway station and the port.

Very nice hotel, adjacent to train and bus station. Easy walk to the old square with great cafes and beautiful center fountain. Nice to have the hotel restaurant for convenience and good food. Great breakfast! Enjoyed the room balcony. Only down side is can readily hear neighbors through walls, but luckily they were not big partiers. Great value and location overall!

Lovely, huge room, super comfy bed, and excellent service from several staff members made this a great stay. Generous and tasty breakfast too. With the proximity to the ferry, bus, and train stations, you can't beat this value.

The hotel is very good located, very clean, nice bathroom, for the ones that like soft beds, perfect. I do required a firm mattress (so -1 point). The service was very sparse, cold. (-1 point). non of the above matters that much. We had health emergency. The insurance ask our address, phone number and room number. A doctor from the insurance called us to the hotel. At the lobby they told THE DOCTOR they didn’t transfer call to the rooms. So thankful god the insurance found another way to comuninate back to us. We were directed to a clinic in town, we called the lobby an asked the to call a taxi, the same cold and spare attention: round the corner there are taxis. We had an urgency… almost an emergency…. they didn’t care or help in any way. A simple transfer of a medical call. Again, the hotel is well located it… but don’t spect quality service.

When I checked in, young lady at reception told me about breakfast hours. Shared that I needed to catch the ferry early next morning and won’t be able to have breakfast. She arranged a ‘to go’ breakfast and also advised on the time I should leave the hotel to ensure I didn’t miss the ferry. Next morning, breakfast was waiting for me 😊

This hotel has a very good location and its clean and convenient, the bus terminal is just downstairs and the ferry is steps away. Furthermore, the staff is very very friendly. When I told Maria and Juanlu of the reception I had communication problem with my next hotel in another city, they both had no hesitation to help me by making a long call to make everything settled. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful, great room with a very nice balcony. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh fruit, plenty of cooked options, good coffee. Lots of areas to sit and relax, it is a lovely hotel. Very close to the train station. I can highly recommend Hotel Mir Octavio and I would stay again

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Algeciras. The location was excellent – very convenient and close to everything I needed. The room was spacious, clean, and well-organized, which made my stay even more comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great, with a wide variety of options to choose from. One of the highlights of my stay was the friendly and welcoming staff at the reception – they were always polite and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

The property was clean and located in a safe neighborhood. Could easily walk to restaurants. However the restaurant on site is horrible, very slow service and the food was really bad. I ordered margherita pizza and they used pasta sauce, no fresh tomatoes,no mozzarella or basil. I have had better frozen pizza or little Cesar’s. Tasted really nasty. The employees were not gracious at all. I wanted to add an extra night at checkin and the guy lied about it being fully booked despite me seeing multiple rooms online. My boyfriend went ahead and booked online anyway. Regretted that choice in the end. I have never given a place a bad review but this deserves it

Stayed in Algeciras for 1 night. Great location across the train station. Also walkable distance to main square where you find lots of restaurants! Room was comfortable! Balcony facing Estrecho de Gibraltar!

The hotel was perfect location from the train station. We took days trips to Tarifa and the other day to Gibraltar, hotel was a perfect place for all adventures.

Location is across the street from train station, next to bus station and down the street from the port of Algeciras. Also there is a taxi stand in front of the building.

El hotel es algo antiguo, pero nos atendieron muy bien, está ubicado a 10 minutos a pie de la terminal de Ferrys y enfrente de la terminal de trenes. Habitación grande, baño grande. Buena ducha. Muy buena opción para pasar una noche.

The hotel is close to the port, and nearby the bus station to many place. E.g. Gibraltar

Efficiently checked in by very attractive receptionist who could be a contestant for the Miss Andalucia contest The hotel is in the same building as the bus station so it’s very convenient for the bus to and from Lalinea and the border crossing into Gibraltar. Also less than 10 minutes walk to the ferry terminal. Very good, very comfortable reasonably priced hotel in a provincial town

Bom custo/benefício. Equipe atenciosa. Hotel já um tanto defasado com instalações necessitando renovação. Arredores não inspiram a saídas noturnas a pé. Estacionamento no subsolo muito bom.

Ideal hotel for a short stay. Very close to both train and bus station. The location is a bit run down, but it is only a short walk to the city centre.

El hotel muy bien pero contratamos media pension y no solo no avisaron a restaurante, si lo que al no tener nada preparado nos dieron a elegir sobre lo que habia en la carta. La comida eran bocadillos, pizzas y hamburguesesas, nos hubiese saludo mas económico comer a la carta

Nice reception and good A/C as you walk in yet in the room they advertise Air conditioning yet it was non existent, there are old fashion vents that do not work. Our room was hot all night . Also we could not get any food or drink as the bar / restaurant was shut , we did arrive at 11 but only due to passport control at Tarifa . You would think in a hotel you can get a drink no matter what time. The breakfast was lovely. Really delicious.

The front reception staff were excellent the best service we have recieved on our holiday, the hotel is dated but comfortable. The breakfast not that good, food was cold, staff gave average service, but young man night before at Dinner was polite and willing to help, could do with better pillows and room was a bit noisy due to road outside

Hotel is located very close to the ferry terminal. There is a restaurant in the hotel with a limited menu, but perfect choices. Breakfast was excellent! Great choice of food!

Aceptable relación calidad/precio. Buen desayuno bufet, variado y completo, y con personal atento, agradable y servicial. Muy cerca de Renfe y Puerto.

Clean and comfortable, especially the beds. Friendly staff, in house restaurant was good and lots of good eats not far away. Convenient to train, bus and ferries. Older property but well maintained.
