While the property is convenient to interstate highway travellers, it is obvious that the owners care little about maintenance, repairs, and keeping the property clean. The trashcans adjacent to the doors remained full during my stay, while empty plastic glasses and other trash littered the parking lot. The pool was closed and the pool area filled with trash as well. It had obviously not been functional in many months. The hallway carpet was dated, and showed signs of wear. The carpet in my room was relatively new and the maid service average. The king size bed was clearly old, and had lost any firmness years ago. It was accompanied by two (rather than the typical four) well used pillows. The bathtub diverter was locked into place so that only the shower functioned. The room rate was a little lower than the area motels, but should have been even lower as the property did not live up to its listing claims.

I noticed a few upgrades this stay, new curtains in the breakfast area, chairs look brand new. Carpet looked either new or really cleaned since our last stay. Parking lot still has crazy big holes, but that may not belong to motel. Still the best value in town.

This is nothing more than a workers hostel. The car park is a muddy, crater filled mess. You enter the rooms via a steel door into a large hallway which absolutely stunk of what I can only describe as cats urine. It seemed like some of the rooms people were living in. The room itself wasn't too bad, but was very basic. In the reception, there are a lot of certificates on the wall praising the hotel, I am not sure how many brown envelopes were passed to get these, because there is nothing about this hotel I could praise. Would I recommend this place, absolutely not.

Outside door had key slot but it was permanently open, no security whatsoever. Carpet in room was filthy. Didn't dare take off my shoes. Hall carpets were stained as well. Bed linens stained and threadbare. At least the vending and ice machines worked!

Typical off highway older Motel. Great parking especially if you have a trailer or large truck. Room was clean, staff was friendly and the price was unbeatable. I was working in the area and really only needed a place to shower and sleep so it fit all my criteria.

This hotel is terrible. There are obviously fake reviews to pad their rating. Not only is the property, furniture, carpet, etc old, but everything was filthy. The bed sheets and comforter were dirty and stained, the carpet was horribly dirty and stained (I wouldn’t take my shoes off), the chair was so bad I wouldn’t sit on it, and their was hair all over the bathroom. We were in the room less than 5 minutes and left. I’m sure if we had stayed, we’d be sharing the room with the roaches. Please stay away!

I killed 2 cockroaches the first night. The smoke alarm was removed and there were live wires hanging out of the ceiling. Checked out the next morning and went to a different motel. I will never stay there again!

After paying for and seeing the room, we just grabbed our bags and left. After seeing stains on sheets I was going to pull sheet off corner of mattress to inspect closer and stopped before doing that as just behind the pillows between mattress and wall was dirt, hairs, and even the plastic lid off to go fast food soda. It hadn't been cleaned in quite sometime. I can look past door knobs that need to be pulled up to open, decades old furniture and discolored air/heat unit but there was no way I was sleeping in that bed. We didn't complain or ask for money back. We just left and considered it a lesson learned. The price was too good to be true. Headed 30 miles out of town to a good night's sleep.

Avoid at all costs! Very moldy and damp smelling. Extremely dirty and gross. The tub was full of hair the floor wasn't vacuumed, the sheets looked unwashed. Glad i had my own pillows and blankets. Full of sketchy people

I was issued a room that the door was sort stuck. It my whole body to push the door open. Couldn’t lock the door handle lock. The top lock was hard to lock. The phone in the room had no dial-tone. I tried twice to call the front desk but couldn’t. The clerk issue me a new room. The door card word at first but when I went to the car and came back, the card didn’t work. Went to the front desk to get the card re-activate but the clerk stated the the door locks, the phone worked. And now I have problem with my card so it must be me. How insulting! The new room, the fridge doesn’t work so my food went bad. The sink stopped up so bad that I couldn’t really use it. The bed sheets looked like they just straighten the bed after the previous guest and didn’t wash. Since she told me it must have been me for all the issues, I didn’t complain but I couldn’t sleep because of the dirty sheet! I didn’t even try the microwave because my food went bad.

This stay 3 days later put me in a different room. This one had a couch. Still no wall decor, same small tv. This bed was MUCH nicer, so I actually got a good night's sleep. I believe it was rm 232 vs rm 215. Front desk guy was much nicer than the ones at previous visit.

The sofa all worn and sink into it . Bed very worn out ! Air they seem to have set themselves . No matter where you’ve it it only runs down one temp. I’ve seen that done on rentals so that’s how I figured it out . Saves them allot of money but room was so hot we sweated all night . Towels not enough and thin , tiny .

Not sure about all the 4 and 5 star ratings, but if you’re just looking for a place to sleep, this place works. This is a well worn property and there may be rooms that are in different conditions, but ours was basically clean and neat with a comfortable bed. There were very few guests at the time of our stay, so it was very quiet. Frig and microwave in room, otherwise very basic with no other amenities.

I booked a 2 queen bed room on here. Get to the motel and was forced into a single queen. I also paid on hotels.com but they charged me the $50 deposit as well as $66 for the room again. Called to dispute the $66 but was told they had to call expedia who i didnt even book with!

We stay here every year on our way South to Texas. Convenient off the freeway ~20 miles across the Missouri border. We always go across the highway to Toot-toot restaurant a great buffet dinner, meats and fish and great deserts with bar. Quiet, clean and safe and friendly staff at the hotel. We appreciate that they have two chairs with a computer table big enough for two. And price is great for a traveling night, No breakfast but a McDonalds next door.

I liked the room, they allow pets with low fee and were upfront about it but can't sign up for pets online. Should be able to do that as it turns out they don't allow pets in all rooms. Something for breakfast even if minimal would be good. Somewhere it mentioned breakfast and sorted that way on Expedia but then turned out to be no breakfast. Not sure what happened with that.

The door to enter the building to my room was broke so anyone could enter without a key card. The parking lot was and along the building was filled with trash and it felt unsafe staying here. Also the free breakfast was a joke. Blueberry muffins was all I saw.

The lady working at the front desk was excellent. She was warm and friendly. The breakfast wasn’t too bad for a budget hotel. The room was adequate. The facility was good enough but the only issue was the door swinging lock latch was broken.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. The hotel is tired and the carpets are stained. The back access door's lock was broken. When i brought it to their attention they didn't see it as a problem. If i hadn't just driven 12 hours i would have looked for another hotel. Also it was advertised as having breakfast but all they offer is coffee.
