A little off beaten path made it a very quiet night. Would have appreciated having a wheeled luggage cart to move to my room. The night attendant did help me but had to make several trips to car to leave. No breakfast provided and no restaurants close. Also no TV instructions provided.

They said they had breakfast but all there was was coffee, hot chocolate, and orange juice. They had pre packed little muffins and sweets. They didn’t have tea. They should not say they have breakfast. Also, there was no elevator. The room was clean and comfortable.

This is a new hotel but was built very cheap. No auto door open so if have a lot of luggage it is a pain. No elevator. You carry your baggage up the stairs. Towels are thin, and amenities are nonexistent. The breakfast is a joke. Coffee, and granola bars. That is it. No one is here. No guests. I paid $90.Not worth it. It is clean but for the money. No way.

I booked the room because I had a good vibe from the listing. When we arrived, the outside was nice. Inside was not as great. No elevator. Our room was real hot & humid when we walked in. The shower was not clean and the shower curtain was not clean by far either. There was a small used bar of soap on top of the shower wall ledge, so that tells me no attention to detail is paid when cleaning. Also bathroom was real dusty. Room and bathroom could use a deep cleaning. Complementary breakfast consisted of a couple different fruits and spoiled orange juice. Was not the greatest experience. I dont think we will return again to Super 8.

Our room was not clean. One of the light switches was filthy. I had to clean it before using it. The tv, nightstands, and dresser were covered in dust. Our bedspread had stains on it, as did the chair. Our room was very close to the stairs. We could hear everything outside the room at all hours of the night. Will not return.

Room stunk. A good mix of a smoke, body odor, and chemicals used to cover it. The mattresses hurt our backs pretty bad. TV didn't have any channels available when we checked as if it had no service. Had to have a front desk attendant find them. They blamed an updated server and there is a longer way to get to the channels. Inconvenient. Holes in the walls from previous furniture look bad. New furniture looks and smells terrible!

The bathroom had tiles missing underneath the sink and the drain in the middle of the bathroom floor was corroded. The bed and pillows were very good. Very quiet. Could have used some kind of hook on the back of the bathroom door for our toiletry bag. Room itself was clean.

This Super 8 Mostel was easy to get to and the check in clerk was very polite. The room was clean and our stay was very pleasant except for the hard mattress on our bed. My wife and I both have back problems so it was hard for us to get a good nights rest. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and will probably stay there again when we need to stay in the Logan, Athens area.

I was extremely pleased with this motel. I was nervous when we booked it but found it to be clean, quiet, and perfect for our needs. We were charged way more than the normal rate but it was OU’s Homecoming. While I expected the overly inflated price, it’s unfortunate that businesses take advantage of people. The beds were amazing and we slept well. I think that Frankenstein must have been in the room above us because it sounded like he was going to come through the ceiling. All in all, very pleased with our stay.

Athens Super 8 is a no frills, good value option when I visit my son at Ohio University. I've paid more at other hotels, but no need to when Super 8 is clean and safe. This is a good place to cut costs.

We had a 1 night stay. Everything in this hotel was crisp and clean. The staff was friendly. Very quiet stay. We travel this route quite often and we will be staying here again. (The only con was that there is road construction going on, and the entrance road to get to the hotel was hard to see , as it was in the evening, and there were no entrance markings that were visible. )

The facility was clean, neat. Room was perfect and staff was great. The only drawback was the idea of breakfast. That consisted of coffee from a vacuum coffee pump, a pitcher of OJ and either a Hostess danish or a small cupcake. Eh, is what it is but the location isn't convenient to anywhere to eat. Next stay I'll be better prepared because there is a fridge and microwave in the room. Other than that, nice place to stay

Clean room, clean sheets and towels, hot water and heater worked great. No breakfast to speak of and there are plenty of restaurants just down the street. Can't beat it for the price. It is an economy hotel that's better kept up than rooms costing 2-3 times in other national chains.

The property was clean, and the staff was friendly. The main complaint was that you should not say that breakfast is included if you only serve a bowl of fruit, yogurt, and Dollar Store packaged donuts and muffins. As well, during our 2 night stay the wifi was not the most efficient.

The property and rooms were average for the price. The property advertised breakfast included, however, coffee and a granola bar are not breakfast. It seems yogurt and fruit are only served on weekends. In many hotels coffee service is a standard amenity, please do not advertise as breakfast included when there is no breakfast.
